When my orthopedist recommended physical therapy, he said the Sutter PT was backlogged but there was another choice and "they're really good." After visiting Lincoln Physical Therapy, I learned that that was an understatement! First off, I noticed that LPT has ample parking and a nicely decorated, clean facility. (They also play great music!) Secondly, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I love that they used my name as they introduced themselves. "Hi Sallie! I'm ____!" I felt welcome and comfortable right away. Lastly, my treatment at LPT has been wonderful and almost spa-like. I've loved the massage, tens unit therapy, etc. The staff clearly communicates every step of the way, and they make sure I understand proper form for my exercises and guide me as needed. I also like that I get a printout of my exercises so I can easily do them at home. I really look forward to my physical therapy days, and I'm going to miss LPT once I have recovered. I called them March 5 after getting a referral from my orthopedic surgeon and they said they accepted my insurance. After going back and forth for three weeks with no appointment I finally found out they didn't take my insurance and neither they nor Roseville Orthopedics bothered to inform me. Normally I am not too quick to drop a review on businesses or services I use day to day but in this case I would be doing the Lincoln Physical Therapy team a disservice if I didn't drop a few lines. This has been my 2nd home for about 4 months, going twice a week. Strolling into the facility it is always clean, the latrine is clean and their equipment is up to date and always functional. The appointment system they have is great sends e-mail reminders for us on the constant go. For the staff--First off Bret Dewitt is a pioneer in his craft, tip of the spear! He is highly recommended by so many local professionals. Bret is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest methods of treatment. He leads his team as if he were the conductor of a 10 piece orchestra. Amazingly he is always working with multiple patients- total multi tasker! This is done in a way where he makes you feel like you are the only person in the clinic, his attention to detail is spot on. He must be a great chess player as he is always 5 moves ahead while keeping your personal care priority 1! Never once has he or his team skimped on treating me or others (as noted by the overwhelming 5 star reviews). When you check in Amanda is always pleasant and professional and usually has your folder in hand by the time you get to the counter. Wait times vary but I have never waited over 5 minutes and at that time one of the friendly staff will let you know they are setting up for you. There is always a nice buzz in the clinic soft music playing with a comfortable climate. No matter who greets you whether it is Emily, Jared, Raina or JJaylene they are always polite, professional and friendly- you feel like FAMILY after just 1 visit. They all know your name along with your condition/s which makes for a very personable vibe. The knowledge and experience among them all provides you with a well rounded visit every time. This is a free country and we are all encouraged and entitled to our critiques and opinions. With that being said- oneTJT should weigh the impacts of an inflated or under-inflated critique can have on small businesses and teams such as this one. To throw shade at a team like this based on a bad day you are having or mismanagement of your time creates a skewed perception of the true magic they do for 99% of their patients. (again look at previous reviews ALL 5 stars!). Prior to jumping on our keyboards, lets think of what effects our words have on a team's morale and motivation levels. I know this team is very resilient and will continue to no doubt grow and gel daily with constructive/valid feedback. Having been in the military for over 2 decades I've been part of many fast paced-high performance teams which most of the time consisted of the classic "do more with less." This team is no different, its such a pleasure to see this small elite group work in complete harmony. This crew epitomizes team work!! Day in and day out they are on point to provide the best possible care to their patients aka their Family with smiles on their faces! I love this place and keep coming back. In 2020 I wrenched my back and Brett DeWitt performed a miracle in body work that got me upright and experiencing way less pain. He really knows his stuff. I took his carefully planned exercises to heart. They are perfect for dealing with prevention of symptoms, especially pain in my pyriformis muscles that go crazy if I neglect doing these. These people care about getting injured people back into a better and more mobile condition than you start. I came here after having surgery that repaired my torn hamstring. I could barely walk, couldn't jump, had extremely poor flexibility, was always in pain when I sat or walked more than 100 yards after 2 months had went by and had therapy at another place. I was told by the surgeon that I had a 20% chance to do any activities I used to do. I can now run (one mile but making progress), jump, mountain bike, and take staircases with ease. I thank God that I was sent here to continue therapy! I miss coming here because of the motivation, care, help, and attitudes of all the people who work here. read more

This review is very long overdue, but in 2013, I broke my ankle, leg, and knee in a bad car accident. Several months later, in 2014, I finally got everything off, and was allowed to walk again. My surgeon recommended Lincoln PT, and I could not have asked for a better recommendation! I went from not even being able to put my leg down and having to re-learn completely how to walk, to being completely able to walk, run, and do anything I want! Brett and the whole team is so great to be around, everyone is so welcoming and it feels like you are just having fun and around family while at your appointment! Just completed 6 months of PT for a hip replacement and arthritic knee. In both cases the results are superior. I love the staff for their competence, humor and graciousness. They are fun and excellent in their work. I can recommend them unequivocally for their professionalism and welcoming nature. My doctor recommended Lincoln PT because he said you want the same person each time you go, for consistency. I have been to PT before, unfortunately, this is not the case here. Bret is good, but you only see him for a maximum of 5 minutes, if that, then multiple people move you from station to station and don't really know your specific needs or problem. My first appt, they had me wait 1 hour and didn't even have me on the books, even though I had made an appt; they told me I was probably in the wrong place, but then found my paperwork. The second appt, I used the hydro therapy and they couldn't figure out how to adjust it so the water would hit my elbow, (however it was fine the first time). When I ask them if it could be moved so the water would hit my elbow, they flat out said, "no". It was very uncomfortable and my shirt was wet because I had to lean in so far. The 3rd appt they said I came an hour early, but I had the same time and day for each appt. The staff you work with switch off and on with you the entire time you are in there, so it is very inconsistent. They read your chart, but most don't read it carefully to follow the direction and/or don't know how to set up the machines properly. One staff member didn't know how to explain the simple exercises I was told to do at home and had to go ask. They couldn't put the tens unit in the proper place and Brett had to call them over to show them, but the next two appts it still wasn't in the correct spot to make my hand flex, so I ask them to move it and one staff member was particularly offended. A timer goes off when you are finished with each exercise and no one came to turn it off for a minute or two. One time they did the ultra sound in the water and the next time out of the water, so I ask what the difference was and they didn't know, but went to ask Brett. He said it didn't matter, so I decide out of the water, since it was uncomfortable to lean in. The same offended staff members said loudly, "since when are we doing it that way"? These are only a few examples, but every visit so far, there has been an issue. Bret is busy and trying to see as many people as possible, maybe a few years before he spent more time with his clients, but now unfortunately, there is a lack of attention to detail and too many different people are trying to help you. If you are new to PT, you might be fine with this, but like my doctor advised, having one person, maybe two, is better and more consistent than 4 -5 people each time. I am very disappointed in my experience so far and the only reason I am not giving a lower rating is that Bret is a good physical therapist, he just needs to take more time with his clients and train his staff better. read more
