My father in law was repeatedly telling staff that he could not breathe. His daughter was called…read moreand told that staff could not calm him down. By the time she arrived, he had called 911 himself from his cell phone because he was still struggling to breathe. What made the situation worse was that a staff member told his daughter that she had spoken with a director and that he would not be welcome back if he left by ambulance because of the way he was acting and because he had called 911 himself. He was not simply being difficult or agitated. He was transported to the hospital and found to be in acute hypoxic respiratory failure and suffering an NSTEMI. His condition was serious enough that he was intubated and placed on mechanical ventilation in the emergency department and then admitted to the ICU. The hardest part for our family to accept is that he was repeatedly saying he could not breathe, yet the situation appeared to be treated primarily as a problem of calming him down. He ultimately had to call 911 himself. We are also extremely troubled that calling 911 for emergency medical help was reportedly used as a reason to tell his daughter he would not be welcome back. We have submitted a formal complaint regarding what happened. Based on our family's experience, I cannot recommend this facility.

I felt disconnected from my body, scared for future births and everyday life, and unsure of what my new normal would be. Working with her completely changed that. She helped me truly understand and connect with my pelvic floor in a way I hadn't before. Through breath work and exercises, I was able to actually relax my pelvic floor when it was stuck in a tense but weak state almost all the time. She helped me gain awareness and confidence in my body - I can now connect with my pelvic floor with barely any effort whereas it used to take all my concentration. The heaviness I was feeling improved so much after even one session, but with the continued work the heaviness has stayed away (I'm almost 11months postpartum now)! If you're having any pelvic floor pain or problems (at any point not just pregnancy or postpartum), she is absolutely worth the investment. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
