I find the therapists to be very knowledgeable in deciding what exercises to give me and finding the exact painful spots when massaging my shoulder. I also love the personalities of the staff. I've been seeing Dr. Karla for almost 2 years. I initially sought treatment in the second trimester…read moreof my first pregnancy, and my primary goal was to limit postpartum pelvic floor issues. However, I did not realize what a difference the exercises she taught me would make for my pregnancy and delivery. I had no sciatica pain, no hip pain or lower back discomfort so many of my friends experienced. I came back 6 weeks postpartum to work on my pelvic floor strength, and Dr. Karla encouraged me to get an abdominal lump checked out that ended up being a pancreatic cyst I had to have surgically removed. Well, guess what? I came back to Dr. Karla 6 weeks postop to work on my postop core. She has helped me regain core strength, reduce my scar tissue/discomfort and I'm a year postop feeling almost back to my pre-postpartum self!
