However, I did not realize what a difference the exercises she taught me would make for my pregnancy and delivery. I had no sciatica pain, no hip pain or lower back discomfort so many of my friends experienced. I came back 6 weeks postpartum to work on my pelvic floor strength, and Dr. Karla encouraged me to get an abdominal lump checked out that ended up being a pancreatic cyst I had to have surgically removed. Well, guess what? I came back to Dr. Karla 6 weeks postop to work on my postop core.
