The physical therapist assigned to me was very knowlegeable and listened very well to all my aches and pains. Unfortunately, my rheumatologist only specified my knees, so there was where my PT concentrated on. I have been to therapy 3 times already (of an expected 6 treatment span). So far so good! My range of motion has improved, the pain is still nagging me a little, but I know it'll all get better with time! The place is very nice and clean. Inviting. And the staff are all above par. The treatment areas are all well-lit. And the exercise machines and other equipment are amply spaced...a lot of breathing room here. Even on their busy days, there is still a lot of room available for the patients and the staff. If you have the need for physical therapy and you insurance allows, Burger Physical Therapy is a great place to go!

Dr. Fainsztein was 100% attentive to my needs and injury. She was persistent in making sure she got the right surgeon for my injury. (She did, Dr. David Gotham, another true champion). Post op, she made sure I had physical therapy on-going, to get me back to work. She did get me back to work, on her time line, not my, pie in the sky, wishful thinking, pipe dream I had. She absolutely made sure I was ready at the right time, no rebound. Dr. Fainsztein is a true believer in patient care. I called her my Pit Bull, never give up, never give in, we are in her hands and she will not let you go. I would recommend her and her entire team to anyone, she is truly, one in a million. TERRIBLE, POOR, & UNPROFESSIONAL practice. I was referred here by my orthopedic based off my…read moreinsurance network. I made an appointment about a month prior to the appointment date. Over the phone I gave them every bit of information on my insurance card. Appointment day I handed them my insurance card that they verified for a second time and allowed me to participate in my first and last PT session. I had ACL/ meniscus surgery about 10 days prior. In the session they took me in 15 minutes late, so now my hour session was 45 minutes. They rubbed my leg for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to tell me to lift my surgically repaired knee forward, backwards, and sideways 10x three sets of each. When I finished my first therapy session they made appointments for 3x per week for the next two months. When I returned for my second PT session they denied my entrance and cancelled all the future appointments they had made because "my insurance is NOT networked" with them. Shouldn't this have been confirmed the day I called and made my appointment a month prior to my appointment? Or maybe the day I showed up...a month later? They claim to have called twice prior to my appointment to confirm "missing insurance information". But I have absolutely no recollection. And believe me I had all the time in the world to call them back and give them any "missing information" they needed due to my physical condition. Since then, I have been receiving mail with a full charge of $374 dollars for one useless session they failed to tell me that I was not covered by my insurance. Even though they had over a month to verify it prior to my appointment and the day of when I gave them the physical copy. I messaged the billing department and they told me that despite everything, out of "goodwill" they can reduce my bill to $209 "full & final". Having to use crutches fresh off a knee surgery and drive myself 25 minutes for a useless laughable PT session and then later do it again to be denied, canceled, and billed the way they have been is disgusting. I just received another letter in the mail yesterday for the full $374 amount. So much for the "goodwill" My one and only, first and last therapy session was an absolute joke. I promise you that researching athletes that went through the same injury you may have suffered will get you better, stronger, & faster results than this place will.

Their office staff is the worst I've ever dealt with! They will not return phone calls. I've left…read morevoicemails and talked to my kid's providers, explaining that I don't understand something and need help from the office/administrative staff. And instead of picking up the phone to resolve the matter their office resends the generic text message they've already sent. If I didn't understand the text the first time, why would resending it help? And when I kept pushing they tried to resolve the issue via text instead of calling me, as I had requested. Not everyone wants to communicate sensitive information via text message! When they finally called me the matter was resolved within the same day, after months of ineffective asynchronous messages. Similar problems with their accounting staff. Again, can't get ahold of anyone on the phone. I was told that they don't bill insurance but they could give me the forms to do it myself. After months of trying to get what I needed I gave up. I had a kid in crisis and that's where my focus needed to be. Not in trying to chase members of their staff down. Years later they called me because of a problem with one of my payments to them (so their phone does work!) and while on the phone I mentioned that I never got what I needed. From then on I received an automated bill delivered to my email. But why now? Because I was furious? It feels so gross to have to get mad to get stuff done, blech! I would never ever return here. The office staff is rigid, rude, and disorganized, if they're even present at all. Our provider was great, but I'd rather find a provider with a competent administrative staff.

Second time in two years going here for physical therapy…read more Have seen two different registered physical therapists. Michelle and Sarah. Between visits with them my physical therapy assistant Mark. He knows me and guides me through the recovery process. Front office, Annette is informative, funny and caring. Facility is clean, open and spacious. Only downside is in the lobby area you can hear conversations in treatment areas.
