Well now Geer Road Turlock BK is down to 1 star. My previous post explains all the unbelievable things that I have experienced at this location, but tonight's may take the cake. After a long day at the baseball field, I decided it was time to try the Ch'King sandwich. Drove up and said I wanted a regular and spicy Ch'King sandwich. Was met with "Sorry don't have those". I not so shockingly asked if they ran out (like numerous of times they run out of stuff at this location). Worker said, "No we have them but they are frozen and take too long to thaw out". WOW was all I could think...here we go AGAIN! I asked if it was too difficult to maybe consider thawing out chicken when they were running low on what they had already thawed out. No reply, only a "sorry about that". Once again Jack in the Box thanks the people who work here for giving them business. I don't know who manages this location, but maybe invest in some common sense staff trainings. No possible way people can be this incompetent. Mobile order food for drive thru pick up and charged my card. Pulled up to the drive thru at 9:30 pm on a Saturday. They told me they're not taking orders and they were closed. Told them I had a mobile order and they said we do not have this item. I was upset because there's very little options for me to eat and they were open till midnight and charged my card. Told me I will have to call corporate. I will dispute with my bank. I tried calling the numbers listed online and are all disconnected. Wanted to speak with the owner about this. Every time I've been to this location not only are the staff not very friendly but the food is always cold as well. When you order a burger, you like your buns to be hot. Their buns are so cold and sometimes even stale. Most of the time their drink machines don't work. When you take your concerns to the counter your complaints are not taken very well. As a person who's first job was at a Burger King for a year and a half and as a person who loves Burger Kings food, this location is highly disappointing. I recommend going to the one on West Main St. in Turlock. The staff at the West Main location are always friendly and the food is always good. read more

Nice little offering on Geer road. This Burger King is a modestly sized restaurant with some interesting offers. The parking lot is isolated form the rest of the shopping center, so it may be a bit hard to get into, but there isn't enough sit down traffic to ever really fill it up. Most people just utilize the drive thru. Interestingly enough for a fast food restaurant, this Burger King offers free WiFi so you can guess it's trying to draw in students from the nearby CSU Stan. It's located a bit too far to walk to from campus though, so only occasionally will you see people sitting around making use of the WiFi. The food is about average and what you'd expect from any other fast food restaurant chain, but the customer service can be exceptional at times. There doesn't appear to be any standardization between the managers so its possible to negotiate deals from coupons depending on who you talk to. Some will honor the letter of the coupon while others will work around it to try and reach a middle ground if you try to upgrade from what's offered. Funny story, but one person in particular would tell me they take any coupon from any business as long as they get my patronage. As a joke, I then brought in a coupon for a discount on new tires and he then said "While we can't change your tires for you, we can change out the patties" and gave me a free upgrade to a double whopper when purchasing a whopper. Of course, the price to upgrade an extra whopper patty is $1 and they also had a coupon for $1 off the Whopper so it wasn't really a better deal, but the way it was done was a mind boggling execution that cemented this Burger King in my mind. Decent place to get food and linger if you're of the mind to. A bit out of the way, compared to the other burger places on Geer, but worth the stop. read more

(Really wanted to give them "0" stars) I visited store #18075 in Turlock, CA during lunch today. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with BK. The employee working the drive-thru was rude and incompetent. I chose to give BK a try after almost a year, after all it is the only fast food with a veggie burger option, and this will be the last. I ordered the Veggie burger on Sourdough and was charged an extra $1. When I got to the window I was informed that I needed to pull around and wait, as the veggie burger takes longer (I cook these at home and that surprised me) at this point I was given 1 of 2 drinks; when I inquired I was informed that they did not charge me for the other drink. I decided that I did not need the other drink. So I pulled around and waited approx. 5 mins. When I received my order I pulled out of the parking lot, when I reached a red light I grabbed my sandwich from the bag. And much to my dismay the sandwich was awful. The veggie patty was burned and cold (quite a feat), the sourdough bread consisted of a stale, thick end piece and a stale slice; they forgot the cheese and mustard on the burger. Then I noticed that the fry's were a small (I had upsized to a medium) and they too were cold. And the Diet Soda I ordered was not diet. Since I had spent so much time waiting in line to order and in the parking lot waiting for the food, I could not return to the store to return the food and demand a refund. read more

They literally got every single thing we ordered wrong. 1) Texas Double Whopper combo. They gave us just a plain whopper. 2) Whopper with cheese No cheese. 3) Kids cheeseburger with no lettuce or pickle. Kids hamburger, no cheese, with lettuce and pickle 4) Whopper combo with cheese, no onion, no tomato plain whopper, no cheese, with onion and tomato. Ok so, boo. That sucked. Went with family while shopping on December 23, we walked into dining room at 9pm and was told they were closed. They had loud music blaring had just finished cleaning so the whole area was blocked with chairs and locked bathroom. My Husband, myself and 3 kids (1 an infant) went it to BK for lunch, I stood in line with my 3 kids while my Husband went to the restroom. He came back saying he needed a key, I ask the Manager Simone for the key and she said you have to have a receipt for that, I told her clearly I was in line to purchase food why could she not give him the key now, she said it was "her" policy when asked to speak to her Manager she said she "runs" the whole store and to call the 800. I ordered my food and went to look for a table, it was then I realized that every empty table in the place was filthy. Which is made worse by the fact thier are only three tables being occupied. I asked them to please clean and wipe down the table, which the friendly employee did while apologizing that there were no clean tables. When my food was ready I brought it back to my freshly cleaned table, only to discover that the burger I had ordered tasted decent but was just barely warm. This Burger King is the WORST establishment in ALL of Turlock and probably Stanislaus County! That's a pretty big claim and unfortunately its true (no exaggeration needed). If you are lucky enough to order items that are all in stock please make sure they are included in your bag because they are famous for missing items. Can you guess what this is? No its not a giant terd, its a burnt spicy crispy chicken. It was only edible because of the nice seasoning its made with. Eating this I got to a tough to chew spot in the middle and tasted a familiar freezer burn that is usually added to most of their meals. I like burger king, just not this one. Everything from sodas not available, burgers not available, not accepting cash, system down so only cash, missing items, there is not a time where i had a flawless experience there. I have been driving all the way to Keyes location because i was tired of this one even though i live 3 minutes away from it. This place is garbage. They don't take more than one order at the drive-through. Their mobile order only works with dine-in, despite the app is saying you can go through drive-through. They make you wait 30 minutes. Their computer takes forever to update your mobile order and if it isn't in on time you get to wait until the computer wakes up. I waited inside for 40 minutes for a mobile order. They wouldn't even except me repeating the order so they can get it done. They were busy doing absolutely nothing just waiting. There were three workers working, and they all do that thing where you try to look busy but you're not actually doing anything. They don't take $100 bills. Their soda machine is disgusting.
