This location is officially OPEN after the complete remodel. It's drive thru only as they are still finishing details on the inside. No more gross playscape for the kids. GOSH that thing was a germ infested cesspool anyways. Who lets their kids actually play in those things!?! Not me! Blah. Anyway, hopped in the drive thru line to grab a Free large coffee with my mobile app coupon. 5 people in front of me but I had my hot and fresh coffee in my hand in under 5 minutes, from start to finish. Employee Kim was super sweet and wished me a great day, as I did to her. The outside of the newly remodeled building looks great, landscape and all. I'm surprised there were only 4 reviews so far for this location. Let me just say, this Burger King is one of the best in our area and we have our share to choose from within a 5 mile radius. They're usually fast, friendly and consistent whether you use the drive thru or eat your meal inside. The interior is usually clean and taken care of. In the summer, the AC has been a bit cold and we've preferred to eat in the car or take it home. Out of all the times I've been here and it's been many times throughout many years, I've only had one mishap with receiving skimpy chicken fries. Skimpy meaning all of them were half the size and they only filled up half the container as if I possibly received the bottom of the bag. But after bringing it to their attention, they promptly fixed it and offered their apologies. That's how a problem should be handled. I heard the manager address the problem as I was walking out so that was also good to hear. So yes, this Burger King is doing a great job and I hope they continue the good work. read more

This location only gets five stars when the girl with the purple hair is working. (I really don't like referring to her that way but she's the only one with purple hair, which looks fabulous by the way, that works there... i really should ask for her name) I get fries and they are always perfect. I can tell when people just leave Cooke's fries sitting then reheat them real quick and/or don't clean out and replace the oil they're deep fried in (was a server for 5 years) and it's never that way when she's working. I hate to give low reviews, but this just wasn't a great experience, to say the least. Although on the bright side, they were friendly enough. We waited in the drive-thru line at prime lunch time, so there were quite a few cars. The line moved at a decent speed so I appreciate that. We ordered a large fry with a side of ranch. We get up there, they hand us the bag, we drive out of the line, open the bag....and there is a slice of pie...with our side of ranch! In their defense, there were two ranch containers. That's very thoughtful, but really, people? Is there anyone on earth who craves pie with ranch? Yuck! It was too late to get back in the line and we didn't have time to go back, so no warm salty fries we'd been craving. I checked the receipt and we'd been charged for fries. I asked for my food fresh and was assured everything was because they were switching from breakfast to lunch. My chicken sandwich is old, crusty and inedible. The picture I have attached is the outer edge of the sandwich that I can't even bite because it's so hard. I called back to let someone know how terrible this food was and even then the lady assured me everything was fresh when I got it. I live 5 minutes away. My fries should've still been warm atleast! Last Saturday my daughter and I went to this location for lunch....This was by far the worst fast food experience I have ever had!! Plain kids cheese burger had multiple strands of black hairs in it. Mozzarella sticks were burnt on the outside and ice cold in the middle. The new tacos looked like they were sitting in a warmer for hours....grease soaked thru and no cheese and very little meat... I had spoken to the manager on duty Vianca I believe her name was....she acted as if I was annoying her cell phone time! She did refund my money and then asked if I wanted "fresh food" made to replace it...I asked why wasn't my food fresh to begin with! She completely acted as if she didn't care..... The burger king at 21 mi and Hayes in Macomb is filthy. I can't hardly stand bringing my grandson here. Always tell him to not touch anything. Floors are disgusting, yuck on the walls.The food is ok. They are never busy, so why can't the place be clean? Employees are not busy where they can't clean better. The restaurant at 19 mi and Hayes is so much nicer all around. Manager is exceptional. Ill drive the extra distance to not be creeped out by such dirty restaurant. read more
