Location specific marketing

The northeast BK on Frankford used to be a lot better than it is now, at one point it would have been the best in the area, now its a mediocre location of an average franchise. I've been to this BK a number of times this year, and consistency is all over the place, yesterday, i had a decent experience grabbing some food to bring home on my way to work, which inspired me to write this. Some pro's: Has a Mixify Machine at location Accepts multiple coupons on single transaction Maintains cleanliness fairly well. Some con's Not a part of Yelp's Cash back program (Despite 99% of other BK locations being included) Severe inconsistency in food quality. Skimpy with portion sizes. Chintzy business practices EG: One sauce per order of nuggets w/ up-charge per add sauce. Service ranges from abysmally slow, to snappy depending on who's working on any given day / time, more importantly who's on register. Food ranges from inedible, to alright, same deal, time of day and who's working in the back. Even when the food comes out alright, (like last night) there are things this location does that still ruin the experience. Order a 5 piece nuggets? 1 sauce. 10 Piece? 1 sauce. A 10 piece and chicken frys? 2 sauces. Roll up and order a 50 piece? Probably 2 sauces. This would be bad enough on its own, but if you request more they up-charge....per sauce. You want 4-5 of those puppies? You're better off buying a small bottle at the grocery store and bringing it to the BK yourself. Last night the burgers turned out fine, the paper thin sheets of bacon that don't even stretch from one end of the patty to the other were disappointing as usual but on the plus side, burgers were warm, bun was fresh, and the cheese was melted appropriately. Fries came out okay, a little on the softer side than i liked, but not the worst by any means, and nothing a little salt didn't fix. Nuggets came out pretty decent as well. Chicken fries on the other hand were overdone, and extremely dried out, which i don't think translates in the photos i took. Flavor & Presentation 2.75/5 | Service & Speed 1.75/5 | Price & Proportion 1.5/5 Overall 2/5

Before asking to actually get bacon on my sandwich.

Today I visited Burger King at Frankford and Linden ave. I usually go to the one at Franklin Mills (Philadelphia Mills). It was just convenient to visit this one today. I received a page of coupons in the paper this weekend so I decided to use one. For a quick bite to eat for lunch I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers small fries and small drink for 4 dollars. It's hard to complain for a meal so cheap, but it's the principle. I get the burgers and they are squashed and have barely any bacon on it. I ate the first one contemplating taking the other up to actually have bacon placed on the sandwich. So I did. I went up and asked for more bacon on it. They take my sandwich and place more bacon on it. I am posting pictures of before and after.. tell me what's wrong with this picture... I never expect to see exactly what is on the picture but it wasn't even close.

Came home to open my pie and see it half eaten .... that's a first time for me . Also horrible customer at drive through is not enough :-\

Always an issue when you go there from not being open during the hours they are supposed to be. They don't have the food they say they do.

It's a Burger King. Is it a good one? Not really. Service is good and order was correct but the food was a little bland.

I visited for lunch during Restaurant Week, which I enjoyed because of its close proximity to the corporate hub in Center City where I work and for its solid menu. I was seated quickly at a high-top for my noon reservation. The restaurant is much larger inside than it looks, split in half with the left providing an upscale bar aesthetic while the right presents a quieter, modern lounge feel. (It seemed like service staff was directing those with previously-booked OpenTable RSVPs to the lounge side.) Service was great, as my waitress continuously checked in during my meal even as more customers arrived throughout the lunch period. I appreciated being offered to add fries on my burger order, as Village Whiskey didn't have it automatically added on the RW menu. The only drawback was she forgot to ask how I wanted my burger cooked, but it came out medium rare which is the way I eat it regardless. I trust that's how they default, which is a good sign. The Food Breakdown: Deviled Eggs (4/5) - Classic, solid, and a good starter. I honestly selected it since the other appetizer options didn't really appeal to me, but nothing spectacular or negative about it. Four comes with each order. All-American Burger (5/5) - Fantastic. I'm not a pickle enjoyer, but the acidity just blended into each juicy bite. The jam had a slight kick, and you can taste the fattiness within the double Wagyu smash patties. High-quality all around and a solid portion size. Duck Fat Fries (4/5) - They were well-seasoned, and each order comes with a small side of ketchup. Granted I didn't ask, but I almost wish they offered a spicy mayo instead because it would complement the crunchiness better. Overall, the food quality and taste were superb. My only caveat was the price, knowing that $35 after tax and gratuity for lunch (without an additional drink) is costly. I wouldn't be able to come everyday, but it certainly has my vote for sharing with others the destination that has an immaculate burger.

NOT RECOMMENDED with the poor service and confusing bill..

The restaurant has 2 levels and there is an elevator to the second floor. We were seated at a window which was quite nice. We were able to watch the city streets and architecture while enjoying our meal. The service was top notch, they were incredibly fast and attentive. All of the food was fantastic. It's situated right near rittenhouse square so it's a bustling and great area. The spring festival was happening is it was PACKED! We were seated by a window and immediately given water. We ordered some lattes that took quite a while to arrive - we learned they have one coffee machine so things were backed up! Our serve apologized profusely and they gave us a sweet treat on the house at the end of our meal. I ordered the frittata which was delicious and my husband to the omelette . We also got the drop biscuits with strawberry rhubarb jam and omg am good! Our brunch was great and the interior was modern but felt homey and we had the best service and the manager also came to see things were going. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back next time I'm in town!

I got the mozzarella sticks were bomb with the sauce and I got the creamy Mac and cheese. I was excited for the Mac and cheese because I had one last night that was amazing from somewhere else. I got back to my hotel my second but I found a hair. Like a fatty I threw it to the side and kept eating it anyways. Unlike a true fatty, I didn't finish it. So unholy for a Mac and cheese lover like myself... but it was too acidic for me. I couldn't keep eating it. So I'm basing this review solely on the food. The service seemed ok? They seemed nice, but can't judge that as I did take out.

On a whim, I called Butcher Bar and told them I know it's last minute on a Saturday night, but could they accommodate 9 people. They told me if we were there in 30 minutes they could make it work, so we rushed over. We sat at the bar for drinks as they cleaned up a table. They overheard us talking about how The Trough would be nice (feeds 8 for $300, but was more than enough for us 9), and said if we wanted that they could get it started as the table was prepared. We said yes, and were sat a few minutes later with drinks in hand. Jenna (Gema? She had grape earrings) was a fantastic server and just so kind and attentive. She kept the drinks flowing and The Trough arrived sooner than I expected and was everything I wanted for dinner and more. I can't thank Butcher Bar enough for saving the night for my 40th and just providing a fantastic experience. We'll be back, and we promise to give more notice next time! :)
