Just tried to order a chocolate shake at the drive through and the lady tried to sell me cookies instead of the shake telling me it would cost more to buy the shake. Why would I want to buy cookies when I'm trying to buy a shake and what point was there in telling me the shake is more expensive than the cookies? Don't put people on drive through duty when english is their second language, it only causes problems. read more

Your food is awful. The fries are bland, the nuggets and burgers were so soggy. The workers are rude and are dirty and so is the place. Especially the one girl who gives her number to men that don't want her and makes them cringe... see unrecommended reviews... just pathetic, trying to hide your shame :-/ and the girl who gives have her number, my bf was only being polite. Totally unprofessional. He made a nasty face and threw it away! I am saying this since my review was unrecommended. I feel bad for my bf who cringed at the unprofessional worker. Haven't been to Burger King for a while so on Apr 28, at 145 we pulled in here. We told the dive in employee to hold on. She persisted then told us to go inside. Said she'd only give us one minute. We looked behind and no line and 2 cars in the lot so what's her hurry? Asked if the fiery chicken was breaded and she "no breaded". I got it. It was breaded. And not fiery by a long shot. We've NEVER been treated by RUDE people like her. Never ever coming here again read more

It seems almost quaint now but back in the day the argument over which of the two burger giants made the best tasting patty seemed relevant and compelling. I'm a char-broil guy so my thumb always went up for Burger King. Sure, McDonald's had the tastiest fries and the best marketing hypnosis with Ronald, Mayor McCheese and the Hamburgler putting you in a morbid obesity trance hundreds of times a day courtesy of your boob tube but... in my lizard brain... Burger King just tasted better. Today I have learned to put away childish things and very rarely respond to the siren song of fast food but nearby, there exists a u-turn on US1 that has both franchises literally side-by-side and the differences could not be more stark or revealing. Although the menu hasn't improved much with Ronald now enjoying semi-retirement in Boca, McDonald's still gleams with a brightness and cleanliness that all but taunts you to come in and forget everything you have ever learned about health and nutrition. On the other side of the road sits Burger King, dark and defeated smelling of ammonia, grease and Whoppers past. Burger King is but a shell of itself and every shortcoming is on vivid display at this single location. A century ago, they invented something that we have come to know in modern housekeeping parlance as a mop. I'd say it's time to find one. Just sad. read more

This one has exceptionally horrible service, rude staff, also messes up orders - be it on the takeout window or picking up order from inside. Always gives you that unwelcome vibe, especially while going in. Not only the big orders get messed up, small ones too. Asking for extra sauce or ketchup makes the staff frown and question you. read more

when receiving my order it was swapped with another leading to confusion among their staff members. When I came in to confront the issues I was accused of swapping the orders to get more food, I literally do not want what they gave me it's a nasty mayoed up chicken sandwich and I wanted the burger i paid for. there was a nice girl they had sweeping who understood the issue and really should be the manager instead cause she can at least keep the calm in the restraint better than the current. This restaurant is a severe disappointment to the Burger King name and I hope that someone either tries to fix them or shuts them down. How can 'a restaurant' serve cold and burnt food to good paying customers? I uploaded a picture of the burnt and disgusting sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich I received. The sweet tea tasted like flat coca cola and the hash browns were nearly done. The other breakfast sandwich we purchased was ice cold but thank goodness the simply orange orange juice was ingestible. Sad to say, but we couldn't even eat the $20.00 breakfast we purchased this morning. Disgraceful and disgusting! Went to this Burger King at 9 PM on May 13, 2019. The girl who was taking order to me: Eat in or take out? Me: Eat in! The girl who was taking order: It has to be take out. We are closing the lobby. To be totally honest, it was the delicious! If someone didn't tell you that it was made from a plant product most wouldn't even notice the difference. DO NOT GO TO THIS BURGER KING. I have gotten food poisoning from this place THREE TIMES. They put rotting, old nasty ingredients on their food. In the first instance I felt something slimy in my wrap so I opened it to find BLACK lettuce that was clearly rotting. I complained to them and they did not offer me a refund or even apologize. They said I can come back and get a replacement. WHY would I want more of their food when their food made me sick! There are other things they do wrong as well from giving me the wrong bag of food, leaving the main ingredient off (like the sausage in a sausage burrito), giving me old, stale food (like the buns that were hard as a rock), and so on. Their food is nasty, nasty! I've never been to a nastier fast food place in my life! I stopped going here altogether and opt to drive farther to the other Burger King. But the last time I became ill from their food was today. My boyfriend had gone to get breakfast and I didn't realize that he'd gone to THIS Burger King until after I'd eaten. I have stopped at this Burger King a number of times because it is on Rt. 1. Usually they get my order right but I am very put off tonight because 1. My drive-through order was short by one item, and 2. they literally would not allow me to use the bathroom! There are not many choices on route one for bathrooms, so I found this to be more than inconvenient. While the young lady was very nice, the manager actually turned me away callously. I will not come here again, I told him so and he did not care. read more

Shocked! - We were on our way back home from Dad's (South Jersey) - Ended up on the "Dreaded" - Route 1; Starving - We pulled into this location - Only to be told "No Burgers" - They had posted some "Makeshift" Sign on the Drive Thru - Order Area; I thought it was a joke; that this couldn't be true. Yes - It was! - Staff couldn't be bothered to help us. As we passed through - It appeared that all the employees were inside laughing & hanging out inside.I'm not sure how this location could continue to remain opening given the circumstances. This is the worst Burger King I have been to. It is never crowded and that must be the reason. The food is inedible and the workers seem not to care about their customers. Its location is good but you are better off eating somewhere else. I hope the owner of this restaurant will get better employees soon. read more

This by far is the worst Burger King anyone could go to. It's sad because my family loves Burger King and we live less than 1 mile away. At least 50% of the time they get our order wrong. We learned not to pull away until we make sure all of the items we purchased were in the bag. My family asked me to go today because it is national cheeseburger day. I hesitated but decided to go anyway. I checked the order before I pulled away from the window and the items that I purchased were all there. I get home with the food my family starts to eat and sure enough there was a problem with the food. We got the whoppers that we wanted, but they were slathered in barbecue sauce not ketchup. Whoppers don't have barbecue sauce on them. We were unable to eat the food. I tried to call the store no answer as usual. Tomorrow I will bring these cold whoppers back and my expectation is they better give me my money back. Another wasted trip and a disappointed child once again. read more

I stop by here on my way to get groceries just about every Sunday, and service is always pretty fast. The food is about the same as at any other Burger King but the fries are very crispy and portions pretty generous They are also great about taking my free value size fries coupons and actually giving me a decent amount, which is greatly appreciated. What can I say? I'm a poor grad student living on a stipend and working 80+ hrs/wk. I take what I can....and preferrably, efficiently, too. read more

Clean, fast and crispy fries. The manager is a no nonsense guy who keeps the place running like clockwork. Too many fast food places seem to have no management on board, this one does. I like their crispy chicken sandwich. 1/2 the way from 295 to the NJ Turnpike entrance if you are returning from Trenton (the seat of NJ government) back up to Bergen County or NJ suburbs of NYC. read more

Have to give the women and possibly one man (heard a guy in the back) credit for their hard work. Surprisingly fresh breakfast when I went to eat there and the women took care both of their customers and their own staff. I even saw the possible manager take care of one of her senior staff members. Don't see that a lot at fast food places. read more

I got food poisoning from this place once; I stopped going after that. I decided to try going again tonight after a few years and I got an oreo milk shake and that's it. The women who handed it to me coughed on her right hand and wiped it on her uniform; she didn't notice that I saw her; then she got my shake and handed It to me with the same hand. I then looked at her as she was handing it to me and just drove off... I didn't even care about the $2 that I just spent. This place is very unsanitary do not go here!! Wow, what a big disappointment my brother and I experienced when we went to Burger King on April 30th 2017. In terms of the service, the staff messed up our order through the drive-through by forgetting a meal that we ordered thus only giving us half of what we ordered. In terms of the meal, the Whopper was exceptional as always; Burger King would be dead without it. The fries were not so pleasant being big and unattractive compared to other fast food joints. With them not being so tasty I continued onto the 10 pc. nuggets which were not any better. They held little flavor and not the mention the sweet and sour sauce I requested with them did not help to make me satisfied. Overall I would rate these guys on Route 1 a 2/5 with poor service and a not so satisfying meal. read more

My wife ordered the Country Omelette with grits as the side versus potatoes and I ordered the South Caroline Grits. My wife's omelette was completely overcooked to the point it was crunchy and her grits, although she added cheese, were bland and tasteless. Salt, pepper and butter couldn't help them. To call my grit meal South Carolina is an insult to that state. Having live in South Carolina for many years and to serve these lackluster grits is an abomination to grits and the cook would have been lynched in the south. I've had better instant grits. Here's why: the grits were bland, tasteless and runny as can be but somehow there were small bits of grits throughout that were crunchy. Salt and pepper barely added anything to them. With the grit meal it was topped with ham, sausage and 2 eggs which I swear the menu said "two sunny side up eggs!" When brought out, the eggs were scrambled hard and there was no sausage. Upon sending back, I questioned about the egg which the waiter replied that the menu said "eggs to order", no argument, but if that's the case, he should have asked me how I wanted them. There was sausage on my plate when returned but it was a fat link which was not cut up to match the ham. I had to cut it which was difficult due to the plate being a bowl and kept tilting while I tried to cut it with a dull knife. The ham and the sausage had barely any taste or flavor. We ate our meal, paid and left deciding this was our last visit here. Although the restaurant has changed hands over the past several years, the interior design has stayed the same as a homage to the 50's. I thinks the dust on everything may be from that era also. Pieces of mounding around the room are hanging down and strip lighting around the ceiling border flashed intermittently blue which was odd and annoying because it would catch the corner of your eye and distract you. If you like bland, tasteless mushy or overcooked food then this is the place for you but if you want better, stay away and look elsewhere. Could have gotten a better breakfast at Wawa or even Taco Bell up the road.

Bartender came over when we asked about cocktails. Started with the bang bang shrimp. Delicious. I got the fettuccine bolognese. Perfect. This would be 5 stars but the room i sat in was brick and it was kinda loud. Otherwise this was a really good dining experience Forgot to mention the chocolate martini. Dangerously good

Three stars for this White Castle location, because while I remain a devoted disciple of the humble…read moreslider, this particular outpost gave off the distinct energy of a school play held together by masking tape and hope. The place was disorganized in a way that felt almost philosophical. Orders shouted into the void. Employees spinning in small, anxious circles. No one quite sure whose fries belonged to whom. An ever larger crowd of empty handed customers staring blankly into their phones. And yet. My number 1 combo eventually arrived. Four sliders with cheese, medium fries, medium Dr. Pepper from one of those freestyle machines that I'm still convinced that it might have been designed by NASA. The food itself was fine. Familiar. Greasy in all the correct places. No complaints there. Still, I left with the impression that this location might function better as a confusing modern art installation than as a restaurant. I'll be back to White Castle, of course. But probably not to this one.
