I'm starting to think people that work at these restaurants are slow. This isn't the first time my order gets messed up. First it took 10 min to get my food but it was sausage you put on my sandwich instead of bacon. I got a 2 for 5 asked for bacon she puts sausage. Now I'm at work and can't bring it back. How do I start off. Line was so long, taking forever to take people's order thru the drive thru. A lot of construction machines in the way of the drive thru. Terrible food. I wish I would have kept my food take a picture. I was so mad I through it out the window. I just stop in Burger King walk in. I order a wonder with cheese fresh off the grill with cheese and onion rings. Well no cheese on my burger a whole bottle of ketchup no cheese and onion rings are dough. Restaurant Review No matter how you dress up crap you still end up with crap. This store underwent a renovation and has now LCD tv and improved seating compared to the old single color benches; but the food itself is terrible and the service is even worse. As noted prior customer service is non-existing. They seemed annoyed that you came into their store to do business. For the first time I tried the "hand breaded" chicken sandwich. I did get one. It was an experience! A bun with a large lump in it. The breading was thick and hard. Very hard. Hard like a rock. I was able to break off pieces of the breading but I wasn't able to actually chew it. Inside there was what looked like chicken. I tossed it all in the trash. The diet coke was OK. The employees had the usual attitude of Burger King attitude of indifference toward customers. They were not in any way hostile, just indifferent. If you happen to go to this Burger King they do run hot and cold. They can be decent. I mean Burger King has gotten mediocre, they font do a actual fresh broiled burger, buy I do like their tacos. They are very much like the Tacos at Jack in the box. Of course they have served me an actual frozen taco. By far the worst customer service ever in my whole life! The shift supervisor or manager there, whoever he was, was extremely rude. My friend asked for ketchup because the ketchup dispenser was out and he just rolled his eyes. 7/2020 Went inside to order a large quantity of burgers to go. While waiting for my order, a couple came in with a child. None with masks. The couple went back through the cooking area and began emptying boxes, talking with people, etc. Not sure what they were doing there, but everyone knew them. I am glad I got my food as they came in like this. No masks, no service? No masks, NO WORK AROUND MY FOOD!!!!!! We rarely come here anyways, but will look harder for alternatives now. read more

SNAPPY MANAGEMENT AND COLD FOOD Worst experience and customer service and food EVER on the corner of 1st ave and Roosevelt Road in maywood il- May 27th 2017. It's almost 10pm. It takes 5 minutes for me to arrive at the order window, and they tell me to please wait a moment. 5 minutes later I'm still waiting. I call "hello?" In case they forgot i was here. I call out two more times for 3 more minutes and they finally respond. I order a jr wopper with cheese, no tomato. That is all. $2.52. I drive around and see 2 cars. I continue to wait an additional 7 minutes for the first car to pull off and 2 minutes for the car ahead of me. Without those barricades and the cars behind me, I would have left the line and went to white castle next door. But i wait till it's my turn. I get to the window and exchange payment for food. I check my burger and it was cold. I said, "this is cold." The cashier, (who is also apparently the manager - my cousin found out) named Emily snapped on me saying "Well all the condiments are on ice so the burger would be cold once the tomato, the lettuce, and the onions are put on the burger." I replied, "First, I didn't order tomatoes. I've also gotten burgers from here before and they were fine. I shouldn't have to wait in this line for over 15 minutes for cold food." Emily snappy as before replied "its just going to be the same as before". I said "ok" and handed her the bag. She told me to pull over to the side (which she should have told the first car) and not even 2 minutes later they came out and handed me the burger. I opened it and the entire wrapper and burger was microwaved. How do I know? The wrapper was hot, the buns were soggy and hot, the lettuce was limp and hot, the pickles were not crunchy and hot, and it was the same sandwich because i had torn the same wrapper as the one i handed Emily. I can't answer why I was given very poor customer service, I can't answer why Emily was so snappy, I can't answer why I was given this sad sap of a so-called whopper, I cant answer why my burger was cold, I can't answer why I waited this long for such a sad sap of a burger. I don't even think this is a burger. If I had not thrown it in the trash, I would've posted the picture. I'm just sad, hungry, and tired. All I wanted was a Whopper Jr from my fave BK location. I told my cousin, Kay, about this and she called the location for me because I didn't have the energy to talk to someone who is obviously not customer-driven. My cousin had asked for the manager to talk about a complaint. Kay then told Emily of the poor customer service I received and the name of the cashier. Kay told me that Emily snapped on her, accused my cousin of lying saying how they never ice anything and asked if I was the customer in a blue car with the shades (I don't wear sunglasses, and the car isn't blue, it's silver). Again, I don't know why customer service is so poor, I don't know why my whopper jr was cold, I don't know why they microwaved it, I don't know why I had to wait so long for something so pathetic, and I don't know why I have to pay for such poor service and food. Thus, I hope this helps for those of you who think this Burger King is good. This was my favorite location. My dad and I have been coming here for years. But if this is the management now, I recommend going to poor boys next door, the neighbor-ing white castle, McDonalds a few blocks down, portillos up the road, or another location. This is the worst Burger King ever I don't even know if there's a manager on shift , but if there is they sure do not care about the quality of the food or the customer service. Every time I go the food is not even warm, it's cold. Then they are quick to rush you off the voice box when you're placing your order they don't even give you a second in case you want to order some thing else. However this is only in the mornings and early afternoons. I notice a big difference when I have gone in the late afternoon or evening then my food is hot. I don't know if the earlier shift prepares food and leaves it out to get cold so they could sell it to customers and get rid of them quickly! read more

Burger King Haiku Coffee that was burnt, Yet served luke warm by rude staff, I will not be back. Additionally, I'm not a fan of them just throwing the cream and sugar in a bag for the drive through. All of the other places doctor the coffee for you now as you specify. My wife and I went to this burger king while traveling intlo the suburbs. They got the order correct and the chicken fries that we ordered were given to fresh and hot. I would recommend this Burger King tiny buddy that is traveling down Roosevelt Road by the VA Hospital and Loyola hospital. read more

I love Burger King but this particular location needs new management IMMEDIATELY. It's been suffering for approximately a year and half or so (2011-13). The service is SEVERELY slow for fast food, and this is coming from a patient person too! They've gotten a piece of my order wrong a few times and I just kind of shrugged it off, but after the issues I had this morning, I've made the decision that I will not be going back to this location. Again, severely slow drive thru service and only 1/3 of my order was correct. I asked for a bacon, egg, and cheese but got a sausage egg and cheese. I ordered a coffee with caramel but got a plain coffee. Thank God I at least got my cheesy tots! I'm not usually a complainer but I am a solver/fixer. This is not a one-time occurrence. There are deeper issues mostly relating to training needs and I would hope something is done at the management level to help pick the BK name out of the mud. read more

Me and my dad where in the Burger King and I had the extra long Philly cheese burger and a Dr. Pepper milkshake.
