I love Burger King and it's my favorite fast food restaurant. However this particular BK is absolutely awful. Tonight we attempted to get food and they were open but decided to pretend they weren't by keeping all their lights off. They blocked off their drive through for zero reason forcing people to walk inside which isn't safe just yet. None of the employees were wearing masks or gloves. My husband stood there for almost 10 min and nobody walked up to the register. Some girl walks in behind him and they walk up to serve her completely ignoring him. The reason for the visit was, my husband is a diabetic and his sugar was a little bit low and he needed to eat something. We are in the drive-thru order our food. We get our food and the fries are cold and hard as a rock and so are the chicken fries. We drive back around and tell them at the window, the "manager" Roger opens window I hand him my dr. pepper and tell him its flat can I please have another drink. He snatched my drink from my hand and close the window. He returns to give me my food with an attitude and slams the drive thru window in my face (again) with out giving me ketch up or napkins. And he didn't apologize for my order being screwed up. I drove off not thinking I have to check my food again. We get home and the burger that I order is so cold it was like the bread came straight from the freezer, and again the chicken fries were dry and hard, so I know they just threw them in the microwave. So I drive back to the store and return the food and just want my money back at this point. The lady who says she was a manager didn't know how to refund me my money she had to call the corporate office to get help. Her name was Nicole and I asked her why she didn't have a name tag on and she said she just hasn't printed one out yet. So I then tell her if I can speak to a manager and she states that she is a manager and there was 3 there at the time, including Roger the guy at the window that slammed the window in my face. Customer Service at its worst! I am putting this review up to save EVERYONE some time along with removing more difficulty into your life, DO NOT EAT AT THIS STORE! Here is my story. My most recent order, this afternoon 5/24/22, I submitted an order through the BK App. Everything went well with that but this is where the problems start. I pull up to the drive thru (the only way that this store allows ordering) and the employee through the speaker starts by laughing and saying that they can't make any burgers right but in a completely unprofessional way. I am not an uptight person by any means but her lack of explanation, empathy and overall demeanor is truly appalling for someone that is in a customer centric job. She then just stops talking when I ask her how do I cancel my order. Once at the window the employee has no idea what I am talking about with my order and just walks off while I am in mid sentence, mind you I am not being rude at all, just trying to find out how to get this resolved. A manager comes over and asks what's going on, I tell her and without any empathy, customer service nor care in the world states she can't do anything and I will have to figure it out online or in the app and that she isn't sure. Went here today for lunch around 2pm and it was pretty dead, 1st car in drive-thru and place my order for a spicy chicken sandwich! Told to pull to 2nd window and I pay with cash, change given back and again no receipt given! They have not given me a receipt my last 4/5 visits. App doesn't work either so no discounts and they won't help! I get my food within 30 seconds but I knew it was old and not fresh! I pulled into the drive through 15 minutes before closing time and no one came on the intercom. There were 2 other cars at the window, so it appeared they were open. After several minutes of silence, a figure stepped out of the shadows near the back door and said "we are closed." I asked what time they closed and was sarcastically told "whatever time it is right now...that is when we close." Another car had pulled up behind me, so I couldn't back out and was trapped in the drive through for 20 minutes behind the other cars. Don't usually get Burger King but wanted a milk shake. Ordered a Twix milkshake and they didn't have it anymore even though it was on the menu. Ordered an Oreo milk shake and wait until I got home to drink it. First sip and the milk the spoiled. Returned it for a refund because I didn't want a milkshake after getting a mouth full of spoiled milk. Also noticed the whole place was messy. I downloaded the app so that I could get my 37 cent anniversary Whopper. The grandkids and I arrived at the drive through at 7:20 PM. They close at 8:00. At 7:30 I was about to pull up to the order station and an employee put a chair in front of my car in the drive through line, telling me they were closing, a full 30 minutes before their actual closing time. Came in on a Saturday morning around 9:30A and dining room was relatively dead and dt wasn't very busy. Order two #1 combos. Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croisanwich with hashbrowns and small drinks. The guy asks if we want the breakfast or lunch meals (???). After a 20 minute wait our food is ready. I notice that the croissant was cold like it had just been defrosted and my husband's sandwich is missing the egg. He goes up to the counter and explains his sandwich is incorrect. They bring a new sandwich that now has egg, but is missing the sausage(???) In the time we have been there, more people have come in and their orders have been messed up as well. The breakfast sandwich names have the ingredients listed. so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out how to make them. DO NOT GO TO THIS BK! This place has been a problem since it opened and that has nothing to do with the pandemic. I had given it a try a few months after it opened and was disappointed (and got sick later in the day from the hamburger). The service was not only slow, it was bad. The staff are rude, the music is offensive. I vowed never to return. But since I was shopping at HEB+, I thought I'd give them another try. No improvement in service or politeness or speed, I was given a straw that was bent - no big deal, but when I tried to unbend it, I discovered it had a WIRE in it (maybe an opened paper clip) that was creating the bend. The drive-thru was too long to get back on, so I went to the front door. It was locked. I pounded on it until I got someone's attention (who called out from behind the counter, "We're closed.") I continued pounding and yelled that I wanted a new straw. Two employees behind the inside counter spoke to each other, then one came to the door, opened it a crack and handed me a straw. I showed him the wire that was in the first one they'd given me. He took it, didn't say a word, then locked the door. I threw the meal away. This is the worst customer service I ever experienced. My wife and I walked in just after 9 PM Friday June 7. While a manager and employee worked on admin task just in front of us, no one too our order for about ten minutes. We finally made our order. Two items a burger and chicken strips. After waiting an additional fifteen minutes, I asked about the status of our order which had already been paid. I was only then told that there there would be no chicken strips. Then the cashier/order-taker just looked at me blankly. Like, YOU have a problem. No apology, no offer to make this right.
