Representing a FL established business in my America 250 series is my local Burger King. What can I say about BK? Well it's just ok. I've lived about a mile from this BK for about 6 years, and I think I can count on one hand the # of times I've been here. When I was in college, I used to get the original chicken sandwich often in the student union. In the 2010's, I went to the one in Columbia, Jessup, & Halethorpe close to my work at various companies semi-regularly as the Columbia location was particularly convenient in 2015-2017 job, and I'd tend to get the regular chicken sandwich. See my 4-star of the Columbia one on Snowden River written in 2016. In the 2020's, I've shied away from BK as the food quality is kind of mediocre. I don't think the chicken sandwich I used to enjoy is as good anymore. It's decent enough. But if I'm going to get a chicken sandwich, I'll go to Chick Fil-A a couple of doors down. I still have a slight preference for the chicken sandwich over the Whopper or other burgers here. I've had a Whopper at this location at least once, and it's not bad, but too much bread. As far as burgers go, there's only 2 burger places within 2 miles of my home, this & McDonald's, and I'd choose BK over McD, but neither are particularly good choices. If I'm getting a burger somewhere, it's out in some other area like Shake Shack in Columbia, BurgerFi in Columbia, Habit Burger in Bowie or MoCo, etc. In January 2022, they had a deal to try their Impossible Burger, a vegetarian burger for like a $1. I was game to try, not bad, only like 10-20% worse than their normal mediocre burger. Staff here is cordial, never had any major issues. They tend to run a bit slow especially when busy, but nothing out of the norm. Fun fact, side note: For 2.5 years, I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend, and it's been an ongoing joke to threaten her saying one of these days I'm going to take you to BK. I still haven't followed through on that threat, but one of these days I will, and we will probably enjoy the food well enough. But I said to her I got to have some catalyst like a deal or something to get me in the door and/or in the mood for that for the convenience or whatever. read more

Had a great experience here with an employee named Maria. I am on crutches, and she helped me to my seat with my food and went back to get me condiments. She also helped clean up my table after. She really went above and beyond. read more

This is my first time ever having a bad experience. Especially from Burger King. On my receipt the cashier's name was Paige. Unfortunately there was no hello or how are you, just straight what do you want to order. What's more upsetting is the availability of sodas. Majority of it was out and this person had a tone that made it seem I was annoying her with asking what there was available. To end it roughly, fries were cold, burger was very messy and the wraps were not wrapped properly and had little to no flavor. I could taste the chicken well.... that unfortunately tasted as if it had been sitting out for a while. I don't recommend this location. read more

Honestly, after a long day of shopping all I wanted was a quick meal to help me through. I was able to do so by visiting here. It was a bit of a rare occasion as well since I decided to dine in instead of use the drive thru and go home. Coming in and ordering was kind of a fast ordeal. Even more so for me since I already knew what I wanted. The staff behind the counters were fast and friendly which made for a pleasant experience. While my food was being prepared, I was over filling up my drink cup. By the time I finished doing that, my food was ready to go. Checked it over quickly and made sure that my food was right, it was, then I was off to the races to chow down. As you can see, this is one of the newer BKs out there. Your typical run of the mill set up that we are all becoming accustomed to. A few high top tables, the rest are regular tables/booths. Decently clean and ready to use. I went to Burger King for the first time in a long time , they were really nice great service , but the only complaint I have is that I asked for all fresh food , I did get fresh fries but all of the other stuff like all the sandwiches and chicken nuggets were cold it is not even busy , am I was willing to wait for what I paid . Ordered the impossible burger. They gave me a REGULAR MEAT BURGER all wrapped up in the impossible wrapper. I haven't eaten meat in 3 years so I was not happy about that. They were very apologetic when I brought the mishap to their attention but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. FYI THIS is what your impossible burger should look like. I am being to think that if it is not a certain chicken based fast food place I shouldn't expect good or great service. I was stopping here on a late night. I pulled in about 40mins before closing. There was a little bit of a line at the drive-thru. The gentleman who took my order was great! He was new, very energetic and friendly. But the wait was long. There was about a 10 min wait before my order was taken. Then another 5 min. Wait to pay because of the line at the delivery window. Then about another 10 mins to get to the delivery window and then another 5mins to get the food. It felt like the food wasn't started until I arrived at the delivery window. The employees here are friendly. Not Very friendly. Just friendly. The overall place was clean. Didn't check the bathrooms though. Now for the bad part. THE FOOD. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it tasted like complete crap. I don't know how else to say it. There was actually grease dripping from the wrapper which was hot which indicates they just microwaved the entire thing. Annoying!! First, they didn't give me my fries so I had to back up in the drive through line. I asked for no salt on the fries but of course there was salt. THEN, I asked for 2 whoppers with cheese and no tomato. They forgot the cheese, left the tomato but took the onions and other condiments off. Charged me for cheese but didn't give me any cheese. Only been here twice. Service was so-so. Recent (and probably last) time, drive thru was very slow even though not many cars in line, maybe 4 including mine. Two cars left the line and went inside. Just needed a quick bite before heading in the house. I live 5 min away, burger was cold but fries were still hot by the time I got home. I went here a couple of nights ago for dinner. Used the drive thru and ordered a whopper with cheese and the new jalapeno poppers. wait was reasonable 5 minutes. paid for my food and received my order. I was not given a receipt, but the change was correct. I drove over to the parking lot and proceeded to eat my meal. I was pretty hungry. The jalapeno poppers tasted really floury and didn't have a lot of flavor. The whopper had a weird taste to it. At the time I was very hungry and sort of ignored it, but I figured they had given me relish instead of pickles. Plus it was night so I couldn't really see what I was eating. A few hours later I felt very ill and became a victim of Montezuma's revenge. I doubt I will ever eat at that restaurant in Laurel ever again. read more

I came to Burger King just to get the impossible burger and sit on the inside. The line was only one person and I ordered the burger at 3 PM I didn't get it until 3:11 PM I think that is a pretty long time being that they have a drive-through and people get their food faster than that. However the inside was really clean all the tables looked wiped off, I will go back if they have more people working. The Impossible burger was awesome like it always is it's just amazing that we have a plant-based burger out here in the fast food world. read more

I would give negative 000 if I could. This location is horrible. I sat in drive thru for at least 5 minutes before taking my order. Then my order was incorrect and all I wanted was to add cheese. Instead of performing good customer service and add cheese the manager tells me I have to come into the restaurant to pay .30 for cheese and he couldn't do it at the drive thru register. Then I ask for refund & still had to go in. This place is the worst and I'll be contacting the corporate office. This is really unacceptable!! read more

This is absolutely the worst fast food experience I have ever had. The restaurant is absolutely filthy. Every single surface - serving counter, tables, floor - was sticky with visible grime and spilled food. The service was horrible. There were plenty of employees, most were joking with each other or moving so slowly you would think they were walking thru mud 3 feet deep. We were charged $.40 more than the listed price for our Kids Meals, and when my husband questioned it, he was told the price included tax. When my husband pointed out that tax was listed at the bottom of the bill, he said he didn't know anything about that. It took 15 minutes to get our meals, which at least gave me time to get some paper towels and wipe down our table. Once we finally got our food, one of the milks was spoiled rotten. Overall an absolutely disgusting, pathetic fast food restaurant. Hit the McD's across the street and avoid this dump at all costs. read more

Dear King, All these years you've been trying to woo me from Ronald w/ things like Mr. Potato Head marketing your "new" fries, which basically were like stale, crusty fries, or always touting your flame-broiled taste. But all you really had to do was offer 1/4lb of meat for $1. And now that you've done it with your new 1/4lb double cheeseburger, with its flame-broiled taste, sesame seed bun, no empty calories in the form of lettuce, tomatoes and onions, and cheese that is actually melted, for $1, I feel like skipping through the streets and singing like Jason Mraz, "I'm yours!" Your meat was substantial, whereas Ronald's 1/5lb of meat on his McDouble feels dinky and flaccid, and I like substantial meat. Disconnected employees, dirty dining room, menu board not working. Takes too long to get food. Receipt printer not working. This store is the poster child for neglect. Shame on the owner. Overall, go elsewhere. On the plus side there is a coke freestyle machine. Burger King upper management is also Disconnected, which would account for the fact that Yelp reviews for the past year have been overwhelmingly negative for this store. There is no way to contact the company or take a survey when the register tape doesn't print the survey code. Shame on the people that pretend to be BK upper management. read more
