IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER REVIEW. The meatless burger does remarkably taste the same as a regular whopper. But it's only 30 fewer calories. Does not come with cheese so adding that negates the calorie savings. But at least you avoid the red meat if that matters to you. Overall a satisfactory veggie burger. I didn't do this but if I were to remove the patty from each one and tasted it side by side without the bun and condiments, there may have been a noticeable taste difference. But with all that factored in I think BK is onto something there is growing sector wanting meatless options and want to spend their money somewhere. Now if I can only say no to the milkshake. Haha. This BK location in Gainesville, VA is really modern, nice and clean. For 3 pm they still had a fulll crew working and were in clean matching uniforms. If I could give this place a Zero, I would. I've honestly never ever felt so offended by a worker in the service hospitality industry. Considering I have long history of management in fast casual atmospheres and the hotel industry. I literally visit burger King every morning literally. They are pretty conveniently located so I switch up from time to time. ( That was clearly a bad idea) . My usual order 2 sausage patties, patties only. French toast and an apple juice. The patties are typically 80 cents a piece or so. For some reason this location has not updated their POS system and attempted to charge me 2.45 a piece for each pattie. My first visit was shaky but a nice a women of Latino decent said she would correct the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. This time an African American young lady with braids ,glasses and red hair highlights told us she was the General Manager, and that due to it being a franchise prices are ( 3x the price at this location) . Is she joking, again my experience in concepts just like butger kind suggested that this was a huge lie. I was greeted bluntly by Christina, " what would you like" . Whom after asking for her name for reference changed it to " Tia" So I am honestly not sure what her name is. Please do a better job at empowering your team members so they don't have to be dishonest with people's hard worked cash. I eat burger king every morning. Yes, another Burger King review! This time it's the fairly new BK off of Linton Hall Road in Gainesville. I went in last Saturday morning for a quick breakfast before going out for a long day of furniture shopping. I ordered the #2 Breakfast combo - a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, with hash rounds, and a small coffee. My order came up fairly quickly, but when I went to sit down to eat, I found that the cheese had been omitted from my sandwich. So I went back to the counter, politely pointed this out, and they made me a new one. I would have been happy if they had just slapped a piece of cheese on it and heated it up. As it turns out, the new sandwich was almost room temperature. The cheese did not melt at all. But at this point, I need to eat and get going or I would be late. Being as hungry as I was, I wolfed it down, the hash rounds and coffee were good. The biscuit was good too, just not the right temperature. While I was in the restaurant - some construction workers came in. One old guy had mud caked all over him - his workboots, pants, you name it. He did not even bother to try and clean himself off. He left a rather substantial trail of mud and detritus throughout the BK. Knowing that I have a weakness for BK, and now that I will be soon living in Haymarket, I am sure I will be back here many more times! read more

Poor service and dishonest. They always make you pull forward so their drive thru numbers look better, even when no one is behind you. They get orders wrong more than they get them right. They won't refund you when they get them wrong and tell you, "sorry no partial refunds" because you paid for the whole purchase on a credit card. What?? How does that make sense? Don't most people pay for their whole bill on a credit card with one transaction, maybe it's me...I didn't know I was supposed to be paying for each item on a separate transaction!!! SMH read more

We had several orders/meals go wrong at the Gainesville, VA location months ago and corporate headquarters promised 3 times, at their 800 customer service line to forward a $10 gift card over 4 to 5 months so I called to remind them the gift card was not forwarded; AND each time they made the excuse there were delays in processing. I also dm'ed Christoper Finazzo, BK President, March 7, 2021; he promised to have "his team" look in to it". I have completely lost patience! This location needs a little more training on the newly rolled out BK app. The app was nicely done, but this location's team can't process orders correctly. Team asked me to go around / wait in line again to they could enter the order in again. Manager should have rekeyed it in without all the fuss. A few months back also had back to back overly cooked Impossible Whoppers. Besides those these three experiences I have been a few other times and it was a normal experience. No matter what renovations happen here, the employees are still the same. Every time I've been here, I've always had a horrible experience and it's not from the food, but the employees. If you ask for something, they will give you attitude about it or they will just refuse to give it to you. The latest time I was there, I asked for an extra sauce and was even willing to buy it. The employee simply refused to do it because it was policy and pointed at their sign that says you can buy additional ones... then she closed the window and walked away from me. I get the same thing every time. Whopper with cheese, no mayo. They have yet to put mayo on there, but probably 30% of the time forget to put on cheese. 100% of the time the burger is BARELY even warm. Before you say "this guy probably gets drive thru, then by the time he gets home it's room temperature". To that I say; not every time, and when I do, I literally live about half a mile away, and I drive like a maniac, AND if the burger ever was warm, the cheese would have melted! Which it doesn't! I'm not sure what has happened in the last 2 months, but this place has done a complete 180. I haven't done a sit down here, but the professionalism of the staff in the drive through is amazing. The accuracy of the order is always on point and if there is something not available, there are options always offered. I craved a chicken club sandwich no complaints. I asked them to add tomatoes and bacon and they did that. This place use to be popular for family nights.
