This location has their stuff together. The staff has done a great job with offering clean facilities, and quick delivery of food. The staff were nice and helpful. Burgers were actually great! Definitely more like the original Burger King's. This location is definitely back on the road of making the Whopper King's again. The wait here is horrible. I go to the drive thru and they do this weird thing were the person before you has to get their food before you can order. I waited behind a person who took a while to order and move up to the window. Then I had to wait for that person to get their food before I can even order my food. Can they only make one order at a time? They can't take multiple orders and start the fries or whatever and make multiple things at a time. I just have no idea why you wouldn't just take orders ASAP so you can get started on food. I could understand if this location had high traffic, but it's always empty. The worker said the waits had to do with only having 3 workers rather than the 9 they have at McDonald's. I've never been a Burger King before.... Ever. I'm visiting a friend from another state and thought it was about time, since she lives just down the street from here. Oh my gosh. 10/10 service and accommodation. Came in so excited to try and told the sweet and beautiful Makayla all about my Burger King virginity. She was so kind and fit me with a crown and made me and my friend fresh fries. So delicious. I got the chicken fries, regular fries, and a Dr Pepper. So delicious. So very delicious. The worse location ever. Hubby and I walk in. When you head to the restroom and they have obnoxious pics on the doors from corporate in bad taste. Pics of people trying to not wet themselves. Shameful. Men's room was locked for 20 minutes with an employee inside, who knows how long he was there before we arrived? Went to the counter NO ONE present anywhere. Waited and waited for 20 minutes finally 2 people show up and the obvious newbie unprofessional right in front of us is telling his lead "look what's in my cash drawer". You NEVER do that. How stupidly unsafe is that? Then they take food out for people who got there way after us, then when he brought it mumbled something about sorry no hashbrowns for the burrito. Terrible service... ignored at first. My wife had to yell at this kid who kept walking past us. Even then he wandered around looking stoned. Finally he came over but couldn't figure out how to do a sub for the impossible patty. Then the manager came over and said it couldn't be done. We do it all the time at several other locations. The kid who took our order looked homeless... like he hadn't showered in some time. Bearly spoke. The food took way too long to get and it was not great once we did. Stale buns. This really makes me angry as the Burger King in Thurston area where we used to live made hot fresh burgers every time so why can't Florence? I was initially SO excited for Burger King to return but it has been deeply disappointing at every single visit since they came back. Since I've decided to never return to this restaurant, I will share today's experience. The restaurant has two lanes for ordering. One of the lanes has basically always been blocked off including today, and since the lanes are very short, there can really only be 3 cars waiting at maximum without spillage into the roadway. A fourth car waiting causes blockage to the outgoing lane. Apparently, today, there was a new hire training. I understand people need to learn as I have once worked in fast food myself. However, there is a limit to how long you should keep the customer waiting before taking over the order and opting to let your new hire learn by observing. If there is a 20+ minute wait before even getting to order, you can be certain your new hire is absolutely not ready to do the job or that the trainer is inadequate in their abilities. so, with that, after waiting over 20 minutes to order, my food was given to me rather quickly after I paid. It was evident the 2 bacon Swiss whopper jr I got were ice cold upon grabbing them out of the bag. The new buns are pretty spongy and bready. They are not toasted and throw off the meat:burger ratio altogether. The bacon is a single slice of microwave bacon. The cheese is 100% cold. The mayonnaise and ketchup were so abundant it was almost inedible and the mayo tasted like it was no longer fresh. The fries had a really odd taste of popcorn and were mushy, very oily and almost unrecognizable to the fries I expect from BK. As I stated above, I will never return to this location again. If you're considering stopping here, just go to McDonald's. read more

Grand Opening. Had to go inside where I spied several employees with their face masks at half mast (under their noses). I ordered two side salads, received only one at a price of $4.95 that was only iceberg lettuce, no other garnishes. When I asked I was told they were out of tomatoes. My second salad when they produced it, was the same. I had to ask for my chicken nuggets and when we arrived home discovered that the Whopper Burgers did not contain any tomatoes either. I realize that they were swamped, but I feel I should have been notified of the fact that they were TOTALLY out of tomatoes and that the burgers and SALADS would be naked of them. I'm disappointed. I have sent this Burger King a lot of business and that stops now. I just deleted my Burger King app after they cheated my client and refused to make our order right. We triple checked our order before placing it online and the website must have malfunctioned or they did something while filling the order because were two Sandwiches left off the order and the two we did get were not as ordered at all! The hamburger had no sauce of any kind. We are not impressed. So, I called and got a rude girl who said her name is Destiny who claimed to be the manager. I was super nice but she did not care about what I had to say. She didn't care that the error was their mistake. It was clear she has no clue on how to provide even a basic level of customer service. They shorted us 2 sandwiches which we ordered extra condiments on, plus a large onion ring. My client trusted them and even tipped $10! Yet, Destiny and Burger King chose to lose my business and my clients business. This girl had such an holy than though attitude....acting like she was something special. She kept bragging that she was the manager‍ She also acted like I didn't understand that the owner was a CEO! For starters I typically don't eat at fast food chains but living in Florence I figured what the heck I will go grab a chicken sandwich since it is new and all the craze around here. This is more of a WARNING to consumers than anything else. I ordered 2 original chicken sandwiches which is posted for $6. However, they charged me over $11 for the two sandwiches. After I pulled away and realized what happened I parked and went into the restaurant to get a refund of $5 since the sandwiches were on sale. The manager proceeded to tell me that if I do not inform them I want the mix and match deal it doesn't get run up that way. My only response was "so... you're telling me I have to pay almost double because I did not inform your store of your pricing?" She responded with a smile "exactly". Being too dumbfounded and never one to cause a scene I turned away and left. Obviously, there was a reason I typically spend my hard earned money at smaller family owned stores. O.K., we waited two weeks to hopefully let them get it right. It's Sunday, Oct. 10th. Not much of a line so we got in the drive-thru line. Only 17 minutes later we were able to place our order. I ordered a "Whopper" , a spicy chicken sandwich and jalapeno potato whatevers. The reply: " sorry our broiler is down and all we have is chicken products." I then ordered a regular chicken sandwich, a spicy chicken sandwich and the jalapeno potatoes. "Sorry we're out of the jalapeno potatoes. After just another 10 minutes we got to the window, got our order and went home,(only a couple of blocks away). What garbage! Thick breading on cold chicken. The spicy one was so drenched in sauce that the lower bun was inedible. Not the beautiful lettuce shown in the pictures. Some chopped-up lettuce and mostly green tomatoes. (These were the delux chicken sandwiches. We won't be back until they've got their stuff together. They're better off not opening than opening with this poor of a showing.. I know what it takes!
