Although is not anything fancy, it was always a very popular place inside the Kennedy Mall great for get togethers with friends and family while even a great place to watch sports. This place still has great variety of burgers, sandwiches, and some dinner specials such as sirloin steak at affordable prices! The real reason people come here is for the incredible cocktails! Definitely try their most popular drink the "Cave In" which comes in a giant glass quart mason jar! The Cave in is seriously one of the most delicious fruity cocktails you will ever have giving you a nice buzz which is a mix of Gin, Vodka, Rum, orange juice and six mixers. Since the drinks are delicious but potent I wouldn't have more than two or have a safe way to get home! My husband and I started off with the cheese curds which were okay but it threw me off that the Dubuque Mining Company doesn't make their own restaurant style in house made ranch which I took a star off for. When I asked for ranch they only had Hidden Valley Ranch Packets. As a ranch dressing lover, I honestly judge restaurants on their ranch :) which I love dipping my fries in, eating with other sandwhiches, salads, and cheese curds. We also got the chicken sandwich and the Kinda Reuben burger. Both were a nice portion size and delicious! Our friendly server delivered excellent service by being very attentive! Furthermore, I observed a general lack of efficiency and an unprofessional demeanor among several staff members. There appeared to be delays in service, and some interactions conveyed a less than welcoming attitude. However, I would like to specifically commend one male employee, who handled our order with exceptional professionalism and a positive attitude. He efficiently prepared all four of our burritos and provided a commendable level of customer service, despite what seemed to be a challenging operational environment. His dedication truly stood out.
