Stopped in yesterday after doing my errands for lunch. I had the Bacon King whopper and it was very filling that is for sure with two patties on the burger. Service left a little bit to be desired, while sitting there eating noticed 4-5 people behind the counter, noticed 4-5 tables that needed cleaning and no one was making any effort to clean up. also around the Soda machine need some cleaning. Nice restaurant, manager needs to stay involved with their staff. read more

Jane is absolutely horrible to deal with. She is very unprofessional and she is rude. She hung up on me for asking when they stopped selling breakfast and yelled I was a prank caller. I order my meal on the app. When I got there they told me they haven't recieved my order and to move out the drive thru. Then the manager told me to get on and to leave her drive thru and they had timers to maintain and I was interrupting the flow even though no on was behind me. They refused to help with my order and was the rudest they could be. Told me it wasn't there problem. That the app was third party. Still never got food or refund. Shame on bk read more

This is not your typical Burger King experience, it was obvious from the moment I stepped inside the door that Burger King is working to step up their game. The location is large, bright and clean unlike most the established Burger King locations. Starting with the bathrooms, I walked in to wash my hands before ordering and was pleasantly surprised. Large bathroom that was clean and debris free, well stocked with soap and a hand dryer that was in working order. The bathroom also smelled clean. The counter space is large and uncramped, bright colors and clean. My order was taken promptly by a helpful and friendly cashier. I filled my drink as I waited and fund a table. The table was clean and neat in the dining room surrounded by several other people dining. I chose the unsweet tea, it was very light and virtually tasteless with no tea flavor at all. The ketchup dispenser in the drink area were both empty and no packets were available. When you order they ask your name, however, my name was not ever called and I watched a tray placed on the counter by a lady. I asked if this was my order and she had no idea nor any desire to find out so I took the tray and proceeded to my table. My Fries were served hot and were tasty and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Sourdough King, At a meal price of $8.98 my expectations were set. It is a large sandwich with a large portion. The sandwich was very dry, there was some of the "signature special sauce" but it was extremely light. The sourdough bun was fresh and soft but also very dry. I have given this Burger King a Three-star rating due to the quality of the beverage which I found to be watered down, the lack of available condiments, the taste, quality of the sandwich, and at a cost of $8.98 I can get much better at many other local establishments. read more

Several months ago I was inside eating & a guy walks in with a pitbull, ordered his food, sat down a a table on the other side of the restaurant, & proceeded to let the dog get up on the bench & eat from the table. Not only am I allergic to dogs, but I found it disgusting that he was allowed to do that, & when I talked to the managers about that, they said they aren't allowed to say anything to him because it might be a service dog. For a long time I wouldn't go inside to eat. I finally decided to go back inside, & as I was eating, the same guy came in with the same dog. This time, he decided to sit at the table right next to me, even though the whole place was empty except for where I was sitting. He proceeded to put the dog's bowl on the table & was talking to the dog. While he was doing this, he was staring me down. I felt like he wanted to start an argument with me & I wondered if the employees there this day told him I was the one that had complained about his dog months ago. I could feel my allergies acting up & I didn't want an argument to start, so I got up to leave, & when I did I heard him asking his dog if it needed to use the bathroom & if it did to go ahead & use it.....as in go ahead & pee/poop right there in the floor at the table. I turned to look because I couldn't believe what I was hearing & I saw the dog squatting to use the bathroom. I thought I was going to vomit when I saw this happen. I just left & didn't bother saying anything to the employees because I already knew what they would say. I feel bad for the next person who sits at that table, though, because this burger king doesn't always clean the tables right after people leaves, so the next person might be eating dog hair, pee, & poop with their whopper. read more

Food seems like every other Burger King but over the 7 years that I have occasionally frequented here for a quick bite of fast food this place staff stands out. What motivates fast food workers to go beyond the low bar set by all other fast food establishments? I'm not sure, but what I do know is I have always had pleasant experiences with the workers here. It is easy to think "a fast food is just a fast food. You can't expect much!"Well you are wrong. And this place (or should l say this special employee) is the exception. Suzanne was AMAZING! I went to the drive thru, made my order, went to the window to pay, change my mind because l wanted to add something else, but was not sure what. She was patient, smiling the whole time, and quick as well and help me. I have never tried any of the two options l had, she gave me her opinion and made suggestions while recommending dome sauces l should try. And it was all done in a blink of an eye. Seriously! I rarely, or should l say, l have never had such great customer care at a fast food. And everything l ordered was not even over 4$. After driving for 1h with 40 more minutes ahead, she really lifted my spirit up! We do not need more people like her out there. I had to park just to write a review. She really deserved it. APPARENTLY! Apparently there have been some changes made since the previous review and apparently those changes are working. It is early and we are on our way to the park. We don't want anything too heavy, just a breakfast sandwich. Since I have recently fallen in love with the croissant sandwich, we decide on Burger King. I vaguely remember that there was one just past the outlet malls on Highway 53 West. It is apparent upon sight that this restaurant has been extensively remodeled. It is a very modern design and looks great. As we enter, we are warmly greeted. We notice that this is not the Burger King to which we have become accustomed. It is so much better! I love the decor and the seating. You have extensive bench seating with tables. Outside of the play room is pub seating that allows you to sit directly outside of the window and keep an eye on your kids without having to endure the noise. In the middle of the dining area, these is a series of tables that are linked together so that they resemble a large farm table that can easily seat 20 people. It is a great option for large groups. The decorating in this restaurant is so smart and functional that it just does not seem like a fast food restaurant. We place our order and have a seat. A short time later, an associate delivers our meal and it is smoking hot, accurately prepared and delicious. I love that my sandwich was literally smoking because I order a ham and egg with no condiments or cheese, so the steam is what adds moisture and keeps the sandwich from being dry. It was perfect and so was this visit. Apparently, I highly recommend this restaurant for it's cleanliness, (all areas even the bathrooms were top notch), it's ability to execute orders accurately and flawlessly and great customer service. read more

I come here once a week to get two plain hamburgers that are a weekly treat for my dogs. Sometimes I will add something for me, but often they get the order wrong or the food is cold like it has been sitting around for an hour. Often everything is cold, but we do not get the food quickly either. You can't always see the kitchen from the drive thru window, but I have to guess the kitchen staff is out doing something else and the front counter staff is waiting for them. It's the only sensible thing I can think of for stone cold food all the time and often having to wait for the food. At the end of the day we are just going to stop by for the dogs burger and that's it. read more

There is a lot of choices in Dawsonville for hamburgers,so I decided to stop at Burger King. We ordered the meal for two Whoppers and the Bacon King combo. Received our food and the fries were hot but the hamburgers were not! The cheese on the Bacon King was cold and not melted. The meat on the burgers were like room temperature! I have my Serve-Safe certification, and this food was not up to temperature. I had to take it home and reheated the food so it would be safe to eat. Would not recommend. read more

We love coming here to eat and play but we're disappointed with how dirty this location always seems to be. On more than a handful of occasions there are employees standing around while the floors feel sticky, there are dirty tables, overflowing garbage cans and really nasty bathroom. Not acceptable! Come on, this is a Burger King not some hole in the wall grease pit. We come here often so I'll revise my review after my next few visits if cleanliness improves. read more

We went to Burger King in Dawsonville and ordered 2 whoppers. I asked for extra vegetables on my burger. Much to my surprise, my burger had no tomato. The manager was at the drink fountain and I asked her if whoppers don't come with tomato. She replied that yes they do, but we are out of them because the truck didn't come in. OK, then. WHY was I charged for xtra when you and your staff knew that YOU WERE OUT. And, why couldn't you send an employee or take yourself across the street at Ingles and buy some tomatoes. WORST SERVICE EVER!! So bad that while I was waiting 35 minutes for my food, I decided to download this app so I could write a review. Worst part is that it wasn't busy at all (there was 2 people ahead of me, and one other person that was waiting for their food already)! I waited 5 minutes to order. When it was my turn I walked up to order and the woman looked up at me with a tilted head with the expression like: "what would you like to order?" But she actually didn't say one word the entire order besides my total. Not a "sorry for your wait" or a "just so you know we are really short staffed and you're looking at 30 minutes until you get your food so if you're in a rush you may want to consider eating somewhere else"(wishful thinking on that last one), which I was in an extreme rush to get my daughter to practice thinking I'll just grab a to-go order at Burger King- NO! I waited 35 minutes of listening to the workers cutting up in the back. There was absolutely so sense of urgency or concern from the staff. The other customers waiting for their food including myself never once received acknowledgment for our wait time. I wanted to ask for a refund so I can just go somewhere else but there wasn't even a cashier up at the front anymore which caused several people to walk out because they weren't given the opportunity to order their dinner. As I was waiting, a woman started talking to me about how this Burger King has never been able to get their stuff together and she dreads when her husband is craving Burger King. I know that it wasn't entirely the staff's fault but WHOEVER their manager is needs to step up and manage their staff. We stopped by one Sunday around 1p. There were only 2 cars ahead of us and we waited more than 20 minutes. They always give excuses as to why they are slow. Decent food/poor service. read more
