The burger was perfect, not a single complaint about that! The fries were fried a little too long and no salt at all but still enjoyable. My brothers shrimp on his poboy were also fried too long, I'm sure this isn't all the time though..hope not anyway. This is definitely a great choice for any out of towners passing thru, and any lazy afternoon when locals don't want to cook. They also have a little bit of seating indoors. Paid $29 for my burger combo and a shrimp poboy combo so guess the pricing isn't an issue

Mine, the fish was delicious with fresh fish and "the works" on a tasty bun. The shift shell crab, I was told was tasty but the shell wasn't crispy--more tough and difficult to bite through. That meant peeling off the shell. I was told it still tasted good, but maybe pass on the soft shell crab another time. We both enjoyed the sweet potato fries.

We started out with the crab dip. It was honestly really good, I was hesitant at first but it surprised me. For their wings they only have bone-in. They were able to split the order into half of one flavor and half of another. The chicken was cooked very good. I didn't love the garlic parmesan sauce. My dad liked the buffalo sauce. The fries were good, not great. The service was friendly. The dining area was very small but there is an outside area you can also sit at.

Wow so much to say! This place is such a gem on the bayou…read more The food is true, authentic Cajun food. My husband has lived on the bayou his entire life and said this is a the only place around here that sticks to its roots. Good, home cooking. No twists and extra things to try and elevate it. It stands all on its own! The decor is so cute! Cajun, down the bayou phrases and photos. Clean! Also plays Cajun music so it really sets up the whole vibe. Okay, the FOOD! We started with the shrimp boulettes, mushroom and Brie soup, and the corn bisque. SO GOOD. Seasoned so well which so many restaurants lack these days!! The boulettes were fried perfectly, not soggy or over greased. For entrees my husband got the "taste of the bayou" which had jambalaya, red beans and rice, and crawfish etouffee. All of them were seasoned perfectly, great sized portions, and just so full of flavor! I got the cochon de lait panini and it was so yummy. The meat was drenched in a tangy sauce and pressed in such yummy bread. I loved it. Came with a side of potato salad but there were also other options. It was so good! Lastly we got the brownie a la mode. It had melted chocolate chips inside and literally melted in your mouth. Didn't get a pic bc we ate it too quickly. Everything was delicious! Also they had the cutest little Cajun menu for the kids. Really great restaurant! Service was amazing from our server Shay. Will definitely be back!

Lovely dinner spot while visiting Grand Isle…read more Most of the items on the menu are fried seafood platters or steak. I had the soft shell crab, which was good, but a bit expensive for something deep fried. The loaded baked potato was wonderful, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Our server even went so far as to go to another restaurant to find me take out utensils. His dedication to our enjoyment was wonderful. Wine, beer, and a full bar. Only doesn't receive a 5 star review because I thought the prices didn't correlate with entrees being served with condiments in plastic containers. Would certainly return to try a steak!
