There were a few choices of style we chose naked and lemon pepper- juicy , fresh tasting, and the lemon pepper seasoning was dead on! Usually naked style are dry and tough but not Dugey's Deli. The hamburger steak was delicious with some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Light the natural flavor of the onion wasn't strong and extremely well seasoned. Great attentive staff made us feel welcome immediately short ride from Houma - highly recommend taking the ride down the bayou

I would certainly say it's a bit more on the classier side but I went in casual (my casual, basketball shorts and a T) wear for lunch. Apparently there's a second floor but I didn't get to see it. It's also kinda on the smaller side but there's quite a few tables and chairs. Walking in, seating yourself, I suppose there is a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Music in the background, fairly loud from all the visitors' conversations. We ordered the fried green tomatoes but they were out, leading us to our entrees. The 531 burger is very very good; not dry from being overcooked, tasty onions (absolutely massive onions), incredible bun. I wish it came with pickles on the burger...that pickle was so delicious. The fries are also super good, and my plate came with A TON. My gal said the club sandwich was good, nothing more nothing less. She said the roast beef threw her off...club sandwiches don't usually come with roast beef? Idk, I've never had one. She then ordered the cake off of the weekly posted menu on the chalk board on one of the walls. She liked it, I wasn't crazy over it. Total ended up being $58, it was a nice experience, I enjoyed the atmosphere and food very much so. Certainly got a very large portion for the price we paid. Service was also spectacular, leaving no question for a 5 star review. This won't be my last visit here

Best Louisiana Experience Seafood Experience Ever!…read more Saved me a trip to the congestion and hi-priced 100's of clusters of conglomerations in New Orleans... The server, bus boy and everybody else working there was nice... Never really had crawfish before, so that is what I mostly got, in a bread, a deep-fried and with a nacho-flanked appetizer... I wanted to try soft shell crab, so I at least got in a slider... Shrimp is a very commonly ordered entree, so had that accompanied with onion sticks, and only wish I had rom for catfish, luckily at least got (though with only a few pieces of shrimp) at another place a day or two before... And a cup of gumbo, instead of a bowl, knowing I needed room for everything else... And so I am happy I got a taste of the cooking (& a non alcoholic version of a punch) that Louisiana is famously known for! Once again, Spahr's is great, so I'll be back... -- Dave

We went on a Friday night, and's it was a nice crowd but not too busy. We got sat immediately and ordered a bowl of gumbo, shrimp remoulade and crawfish bread - all which were great. My partner was ALL into the crawfish bread and devoured all but one piece. The one piece I did have was very good. For an entree we're shared the fried seafood platter with fries and it was really good. We got four nice fish fillets and shrimp- we opted out of the fried oysters. Everything was prepared nicely and seasoned well. Our server was very friendly and attentive. If ever we are in the area again, we would return.

Brother and I stopped by, food was served in a fair amount of time. Didn't take long at all but wasn't super quick. Guy taking orders was nice as well. I got the boneless wings tossed in buffalo sauce and French fries. It doesn't look like there's much sauce on the wings but there is a huge puddle at the bottom of the container. I would compare the buffalo sauce to walk ons buffalo sauce which I really enjoy. Very tasty, and the fries...literally 2 days before this visit my brother brought fries which were very similar to McDonald's fries, and then I recieved these bigger French fries. Both French fries were incredible, great crisp and pepper sprinkled on them. I really enjoyed the wings and fries, and I will definitely be back to try more items. 100% recommend
