After leaving Choctaw Casino we were starved and saw that this Burger King was still open and learned it's open 24/7. There was one car in the drive thru and we were able to order right away. It took forever for the car in front of us to get their food. As soon as the car pulled away and we pulled up saw that our food was ready. Yahoooo. I ordered a Texas Double whopper with fries. Extra pickle. Unbeknownst to me my whopper had jalapenos. ( I should have known) It was hot, juicy and super tasty. The best whopper I've ever had. Seriously. Loved the jalapeños on the burger. Where do I even start..... didn't have high expectations, because it's just Burger King. However, I did have the expectation that we would get our food quickly so we could hit the road - news said a large storm is coming - so we would have liked to get out of range in a timely manner. Ordered from the "How to Train Your Dragon" menu. Went through the drive thru. Got home and pulled the food out. The fiery dragon mozzarella fries was a joke. Supposed to be 4 in an order, which is a rip-off, but only had 1 whole one and two broken in half. On top of that they were dried out. Definitely not going back. read more

I'm here at this Burger King across from Choctaw casino. The lady working the counter is the kindest nicest most efficient person, Jorie is her name. Then the food is the best I could ever hope for. Hot and fresh and delicious. The place is clean and smells like breakfast! This is so awesome. Kudos to the lady cook as well, Rebecca. Seriously the best food, the best service and so clean. Parked here to get dinner and their dining room was closed. No signs, just locked doors. Their drive-thru was busy but we can't take a semi through the drive-thru!!! If your restaurant is located inside a truck stop, get your frickin doors open so the truck drivers can eat too!!! read more

This was an especially dirty Burger King. There were so many flies. I wish I would have walked out and grabbed something from somewhere down the road. I ordered an original chicken sandwich with no lettuce and extra mayo. Usually they just put a little extra mayo on, but this location basically dumped the whole bottle. Not a fan. read more

What a terrible experience Trucking into the Choctaw Truck Stop plaza and this Burger King. Drive thru when the employees are lazy. What is this business doing at a truck stop? Not serving us when we deliver your food. Driving hours on end looking for a meal that isn't shitty gas station food ( truck stops suck ) only to be insulted and treated like trash. Go stand outside in between cars and look like an idiot for US. Well screw that. You'll never get another dime of mine spent at any Choctaw Plaza. As far as Burger King....never again. I decided to get a drink and watch my family get sick from the food, which had flies everywhere around it, The staff was all angry. Well burger king calera, it's come to an end. You have continually screwed up my orders and today I was giving you a last shot. Of all orders to completely get wrong you got my wife's. The receipt was perfect as always but the order was wrong. She wanted a non spicy crispy sandwich with pickle and onion. I had you nrepeat it for clarity and seen it on the drive through screen. She got a spicy, no pickle or onion with lettuce. What the freak ? How is your receipt smarter than an entire crew of people, Again and again. Now we no longer will be eating there and that is unfortunate as we live in Calera. Not that this makes a bit of difference but I just had to let you know you are beyond lacking. The Carolina bbq cheeseburger hit the spot and started off an 8-restaurant cheeseburger challenge over the next 2 days. Let it be noted that this BK experience ranked number 3 on the list, and a bronze medal never killed anyone. Tastes consistent with other Burger Kings. quick trip ended up being 20 minutes in the drive through! They apparently had no food and had to start from scratch. It was ridiculous.
