This Burger King is ridiculous and has been for awhile. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker tonight and was told "we're experiencing high volume at the moment, we'll be with you momentarily." There were 2 cars in front of me. Mind you, I worked at a Burger King in Roanoke where during our busy hours, cars would wrap around the building. Anyway, after the two cars in front of me left, and I waited another 10+ mins, I said "hello?" And got the response "we'll be right with you." Then a gentleman came over the speaker and took my order. I got 2 whopper meals, both with cheese, and 1 with no tomato, no onion. I pulled to the window, and he apologized for my wait. I said it was fine, and paid for my food. He handed me my drinks, my card, and my food and said "I'm sorry again about your wait and I promise your food is correct, have a great night." I pulled away, and drove home. I get home and open our food and NEITHER shoppers have cheese, and they BOTH have tomato and onion. Not a HUGE deal there, the tomato and onion can be picked off, but I was charged extra for cheese and after waiting over 25 mins for just 2 meals, I expected it to be right. I'm done with this Burger King. Theres an issue everytime I go. I'll go out of my way next time, and drive to the one in Lexington, as they at least get your food right. read more
