Been coming to this location for years depending what time your dining here depends on crowd and loudness. Food here is always fresh and hot you might wait a few extra minutes but it worth it. Please be kind to staff they are working hard to provide your needs. Place needs an upgrade but it's still a stable to the neighborhood. read more

This was the first time I ordered a delivery from this store and my order was wrong. The delivery person left my food at my door but never rung my doorbell to let me know he arrived. I usually go and pick up my order to go and I will continue to do it that way instead. read more

They screw my order up they forgot 1item that I paid for .trying to call them and no one answered horrible service.

Long story short, DON'T order delivery from here. Ok, this is the 3rd time I've ordered delivery and each and every time there is at least one item missing. You'll never get anyone to answer the phone here or at Doordash. They both blame each other in the resulting emails. There's another alternative for delivery just down the road. So if you want a fastfood burger McScroll past this dumpster fire of service. You might actually get what you ordered. read more

It has been a long time since indulging in BK's flamed-grilled burgers, whoppers, fries, onion rings, chicken sandwich, Hershey's pie, etc., oh my! With a co-worker we ventured one exit away north on U.S. Route 9. Our respective cheese burgers were small filled with one slice of cheddar cheese and pickles. The small onion rings were filling without the grease and oil embedded onto your hands. Staff is efficient for order taking, order fulfillment and keeping the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness. This BK location #1434 contain too many panhandlers wandering inside to harass and disturb patrons endlessly begging for money. My party of two witness two respective panhandlers harassing and disturbing a family of three-- my God, can one enjoy a meal in peace? Parking lot and drive-through are available at this location. This BK accepts their brand name coupons. read more

Place says 24 hours but it's like 5 cars in the line and they going to shut off the damn light like it's RUDE it's workers in the place so it don't make no sense! read more

I dont know why this place may have such bad reveiws, but keep in mind it is a fast food resaurant. I have to say It was the best spicy chicken sandwich I had ever. My kids enjoy their burgers and chicken tenders, it was a feel your own cup type of place, we only came after our walk in the park and smore adventure, for a quick bite to eat. It was clean and not really crowded at all. It was a couple of other customers having dinner as well, and the workers were nice and patient with me because I didnt really know what I wanted, for my household does not really eat to much fast food anymore, and hardly ever BK. so with that being said, It was an ok experience. Cant say I will be back, but if I did it would be for that spicy chicken sandwich, and stay away from the fries, they just are bad in my opinion, go with the onion rings instead. read more

Thirty two, 32, minutes to order and get my food. After asking for a refund, my veggie burger miraculously appeared. My number was still 5 away; even at some sit down restaurants 25 minutes is pushing it. Watching them push around food items and not actually fill orders, with a swarm of people waiting, was insane. If you're expecting a quick bite and you see a line to order, turn right around. read more

As promised! Food was exactly what I expected. The crew remembered everything in my order and were really friendly when I cashed out. Thank you! read more

Today is the first time I ate in this Burger King in probably 20 years. so when I walk in there's a woman screaming on the floor, without any pants or shoes on, screaming all matter of impurities and threatening the employees. cops and ambulance come and haul her out. welcome to the Bronx. I wouldn't have taken so many stars away just for that but the place really smells like poopy. read more

The place is unkempt and filthy and always have a sort of toxic bathroom like order given the fact that the bathroom is nasty and looks as if it's never cleaned. At this location which is in the Riverdale section of the Bronx I would definitely expect better, though the service seems pretty good and the lines move swiftly, but they get one star for their lack of cleanliness. read more

Literally the last 3 times I've been there THEY FORGET SOMETHING. The part that upsets me the most, is that I've only gone when it's not crowded and I'm the only person in the drive thru. Never wasting my money again. read more

Man that Keisha girl working on 3-2-2020 at 10:30 pm was rude for no reason with her loud buddies just loitering.

I can't believe none of my Riverdale peeps have reviewed this place... Don't front, you know from time to time you get off that #1 train on 242nd, craving some fries or a Hershey's pie, or on a hot summer day you run in for a spirit! Gosh, I think I just rhymed! On late nights that I want to enjoy something fast, I pick up a Spicy Chick'N Crisp Sandwich and a Hershey's pie. (YUM) This Burger King has been around since I could remember... I like it that there is a drive-thru... (although sometimes slow). Don't go in often but it is good to know it is there when I want it. The kids like it. The Park goers like it. The Manhattan College students eat lots of it. Thumbs up to my 242nd Street Burger King- OPEN LATE! read more

I know it's Burger King. I wouldn't pick this particular chain as my first choice for anything really, but it's right across from van cortland park and my bf was hungry after our run. I said "I'll get a salad" I saw on the menu there was a "garden fresh salad" or a caeser, both w either fried or grilled chx. I asked for a garden fresh salad w grilled chx. I received a caeser w said grilled chx. I apologetically declined the caeser and re-asked for my garden fresh salad, and was given a pronounced eye-roll from the girl behind the counter. She then shoved another salad in my hands and swiftly turned away, presumably rolling her eyes more. When I got home, the salad was anything but garden fresh, but instead a BLT salad?!? I didn't even see that being an option. I don't want bacon, I don't want cheese, give me a freakin cucumber and some grilled chx! I got over emotion about this salad, but you just don't mess w a sweaty hungry hormonal chick and her salad, especially when you eye roll me. read more

I usually drop by here in between my subway-bus transfer (and don't feel like cooking). I don't make a habit of messing with the fast foods. Pretty big restaurant, only annoyance is the random homeless dude that hangs out @ the front entrance, asking people for change. Service is maaaadd slow, and the cashiers act like they don't give two fux half the time. Food is meh...But will fill you. Will I come back...probably. Especially on those days when I don't feel like cooking dinner. read more

Haven't been to this Burger King location in years. Went through the drive-thru for lunch. Staff was very friendly, patient & without asking repeated my order & asked if the things I ordered are on the screen. From ordering to paying & receiving my food, it was orderly, efficient, courteous, & she even double check the bag to make sure it had everything. The food was very fresh; Whopper and fries from this location was the best I have tasted from various Burger King I've eaten read more

The wrong order was delivered to me and when I called the stored to see what happened to my order the female who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. Yes, I wasn't exactly pleasant on the phone because I was irritated about my order being wrong but I when I asked her how the food got mixed up she hung up the phone on me. I called backed about 20 times just to communicate that I replaced my order and ask that they ensure the driver picks up the correct order this time and they refuse to answer my call. I am a vegetarian and I took a bite of a meat sandwich and I'm hoping I don't get sick. I honestly regret replacing my order because I fear something was done to my food. This is the job you choose to work in, you need to have better customer service. It's ashame that people can be so ignorant and unprofessional. All I want is my impossible whopper! read more

Burgers are given cold and they always forget part of the order. Sad because they are the only Burger King there and should have a better service. Since there's a McDonnells a mile away read more

I ordered 2 meals using postmates. I was missing 1 soda 1 fries and food was cold. They also charged something 1 cent which totaled $5.01. I have tried calling no answer mind you its 24 hour. I also wrote postmates no response. Will never use this establishment or post mate again. Wish I could give zero stars read more

Live this place, don't know how they do it, but you always manage to get food to you in a reasonable amount of time. Nevertheless, its Burger King! How can you go wrong in the world of fast food?! (Spoken like a true fat kid) read more

I went there today and requested to mix French Fries with Onion Rings like I know they used to do. The person on the drive thru said they don't do that anymore. I asked the manager if that was something new because I had just been there a couple of days ago and they serve me the French fries mixed with onion rings as I requested it. The manager said to me that it was new since last week because the heath department told them they could not do it for food allergies issues and she said they were fried with different type of oil. So I said so they came last week after I came here and she said yes. So I went ahead and contacted the heath department to verify that I was not been lied about just because they did not feel like serving me what I wanted. The health department put me through with a Senior Inspector in charge of the are and he told me that there were no reports on them had been at Burger King in anytime close to even this month neither there was a report of the French Fries and Onion ring issue. Which means that the manager lied to me. I contacted corporate and I explained the issue and they told me that it all depended on the restaurant because some where Franchise and it depended on the owner or manager whether or not they wanted to serve French Fries with Onion Rings mix but that they usually do it in most of the restaurants to please the customer. I am very disappointed that a manager has to lie just to not serve something a customer wanted. I am disappointed that this restaurant has a manager like this. Such a nice place and such a horrible Manager. I feel upset that she LIE !!!! read more

danille....horrible customer service!!!! now raul was very kind and helpful! it's unbelievable how disgusting this place is now after all the years at this establishment!!! madja was not helpful, dianna from the back was yelling and cursing at me for having complained about the wrong order that was given to me. aside from that i had to return onion rings that were overly cooked and horribly given (thrown in the bag) customer service lacking big time! read more

This Burger King happens to have a truly wonderful employee named,Tee. She is always pleasant and upbeat. She speaks clearly so that she is understood and always has a smile and a hello. She plays good music, too. Thank you! Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees. read more

Beware: the people who work at this Burger are in cahoots with a car towing service that will tow your car even if you are a customer. They charged me $141 to get my car back and then refused to give me their names. I am writing a letter to Burger King corporate to complain. UPDATE: After writing two letters to Burger King corporate, the franchisee refunded my $141. It was a huge hassle for me, but the case is now closed. The Burger King ultimately did the right thing. read more

Soda is always flat. Aside from that it's a regular Burger King with a bathroom and parking lot.

Went thru the drive-thru today for lunch. No napkins and gave me the wrong order. Did not notice until i was miles away on the highway.

Fries were hot and good, but no salt on them. Onion rings were disgusting, as were the drinks. Soda tasted flat. Juice tasted watery. Maintenance man on the floor wasn't all that customer service-friendly. read more

I love Burger King whoppers with cheese. Sometimes the burger is cold and the cheese is never melted. They are too lazy to melt the cheese? Otherwise, pretty decent. read more
