He let me know how much it was and I headed over to the window to pay. He was such a nice, professional person. I paid with a debit card. I tapped and was good. It took little time for my food and drink to be handed to me. I thanked him and left. I ended up parking by the Timmy's next door. This Timmy's was packed with folks enjoying themselves inside the joint. Luckily, I was chowing down in the comfort of my car. My Whopper was yummy. I liked how fresh the tomato and lettuce were. I got a generous number of pickle slices. The flame-broiled beef patty was yummy. The bun was great. The fries were yummy. They were crispy and hot, with the right amount of salt. I noticed that it has a drive-thru on the right side of the building when you're looking at the main doors. I had placed an order for a Whopper combo through the Burger King app. It was Whopper Wednesday, meaning that I could get this combo for $8.99 before taxes. My order consisted of these items: - Whopper - Onion rings - Medium fountain drink - Strawberry sundae I got an estimated pickup time. I specified that I was dining in. I also earned crowns (rewards points) towards free food and more. I walked in. It was spacious. It felt inviting here. It was fairly busy when I got here at roughly 4 pm. I saw the order pickup sign on the left and headed over there. Ordering in advance felt like I was in a VIP line. A helpful female staffer found my order with my name, but it was in a paper bag. She quickly fixed the issue by taking everything out and putting them on a tray. She then let me know that she's make my sundae. She exhibited excellent customer service. I appreciated her clear communication. While I waited for my sundae, I hit the drink machine and got a Diet Coke. I ended up refilling my cup twice. It wasn't enough to wash down all my food. I asked why food would be prepared so early especially when the order was placed only five minutes prior and they had no explanation. When I said I did not want cold food, I was told to request a refund through the Burger King app. I then asked for the order to be remade fresh. Instead, I was told I would need to drive back around, place a new order, and pay for it again, even though I was already at the window and the issue was entirely on their end. Between the cold food, refusal to correct the mistake, and dismissive attitude, this was an extremely poor experience. I will never return to this location again.
