These burgers are absolutely SMASHING baby, yeah... channeling my inner Austin Powers... as I gobble down the Wenatchee Burger. But first, let's make like Marty McFly and go back in time. My bud says let's go meet up for burgers and brew. I'm like, "Sure, don't gotta ask me twice." And off we went. My mind was blown by all the things in such close proximity of each other... I mean like a parking lot closeness. We got some serious grub burgers, with a brewery next door to enjoy said tasty meat patties. With a distillery in the back/front, and a wine or tea bar on the other side. You don't have to go far to stumble or crawl. Ok... moving forward... back to Burger Buds! I had no idea this was the original truck or location. I live out in the Maple Valley area, and we frequent that burger buds often. However, every time I go, I always want to try a new burger. And the Wenatchee was calling my name. Something about crisp Washington apples and cheese just sounded good with some candied bacon. C'mon son! Not to mention their fries! We ordered our food, found a place to sit down inside the brewery, ordered some cider, and once the food was ready, we just sat and hung out and enjoyed conversation. This is a perfect location! So hats off to the owners of Burger Buds and Headworks Brewery for their joint adventure! Thank you for the experience and as always, enjoy and found a new Happy Place!

Best smash burgers and fries around! We love them so much we even hired them for my husband's military retirement. They ran into some tough technical issues on the day of, but their team handled it with absolute grace and 100% accountability. They went above and beyond to make things right and showed true professionalism. It's easy to be great when things go perfectly, but this team proves they are 5-star rockstars even under pressure. Buger Buds is a food truck that's typically parked right next to a brewery, offering plenty of seating for all. We visited for a weekday lunch and our order took about 5 minutes total. Proper Patty ($11) - This burger comes with two smash patties, both of which are heavily salted and somewhat crisped up - the pictures from other people make it seem like they cook long enough to get lacy caramelized edges, but it's not quite to that point. Instead, the burgers, while not moist and fatty, aren't dried out either, and give a great beefy flavor. The burger sauce adds some tangy sweetness, and some pickles on top adds even more sweetness, but a very fresh crunch. It's otherwise pretty standard with the lettuce and tomato. A solid smashburger. (4/5) Fries ($5) - These are fried enough to give a crust on the potatoes, but not enough for the fries to be come crisp. Still, they aren't floppy, so while not entirely crisp, these are still good for eating especially since the insides are nice and fluffy. They are salted a lot, which combined with the salty dip (we went with the Bud's Sauce), equals a parched mouth after eating. I think they actually use a lime salt or something as I can detect a bit of citrus flavor. The Bud's Sauce is a nice mayochup mixture with I think a bit of smokiness from paprika and some chopped onion. It's sweet, tangy, and salty. (4/5) Overall Burger Buds serves some nice classic smashburgers! It's great for a visit while in town for a quick and easy meal.

Burger buds slaps every time we go. We love coming here after hiking in Rainier. The fries with the garlic aioli are SO GOOD. One burger is enough for me and my boyfriend to split. Just found out there is a location much closer to us in Maple Valley and I am so excited about it! Seriously some of the best burgers I've ever had.

Loved it. Loved everything about it. Hubs had the Big Rig and raved. I had the Wenatchee and it was the perfect balance with the tart apple and Gorgonzola. Sit in the Brewery next door and have an ice cold Root Beer (or beer if that is your thing)... this will not disappoint. Cool vibe and excellent burgers!

I call many of my good friends my "Burger Buds", so I thought that it would only be appropriate for me to stop by this smashing food truck after a day of ripping up Crystal Mountain. The burgers look mountainous on the menu to display the inner workings of these meat creations, with layers upon layers of toppings. They are truly cooking up carnivore art in the truck, so I appreciate that. The textural contrast of the crispy edges and the soft bun takes these burgers over the top. And then once they throw on things like onion rings and bacon... they will stack up against any burgers out there. The fries here are top notch as well. Excellent crispiness, and fluffy on the inside. They also let you pick from a variety of sauces that they're mixing up. And since I'm a sauce boi, I gladly obliged. It was the garlic aioli for me today, and man that did not let me down. A phenomenal 2024 blend, I wanted to ask for the recipe. The truck is set up right outside of a brewery, creating a symbiotic relationship between the smash patties and brews. You could spend all day here watching football and eating burgers. Sounds like the perfect day to me.

What a great spot, in Enumclaw. The burgers are on point - assuming you like the smash burger style. Grab a few extra napkins as these burgers will make a mess! The chicken sandwich is also a great option, if you like the heat make it a "spicy". One drawback is no drinks or shakes. But bonus this food truck is in the parking lot of Headworks Brewing. So grab your food and get your beverage from the brewery ( it's both kid and dog friendly). Bottom line if you are looking for a good smash burger and willing to risk sauce on your shirt, give this place a try. read more

I've only tried the spicy chicken Sammy and the huge order of fries. The Sammy is very good, and the fries come with an array of dipping sauce choices. It did not take long before the food was ready. Having a pager to notify you when your order is ready was a nice touch, allowing us to wait at our table out of the sun. I imagine the dinner crowd is heavy but the lunch crowd was quite light. They have the most excellent kind workers! Every time I come in, I am amazed how clean high energy and amazing everything is at this truck. I have been to the maple valley one a couple times and time after time I have been left speechless how the Enumclaw location is just hands down the best burger buds ever. Burgers were smaller than the photos and insanely greasy, but service was friendly and there was a fair wait time. I ordered the Wenatchee, a smash burger with Granny Smith apples. This place is INSANE!!!! Burgers 10/10 Service 10/10 Collin 10/10 They have this special sauce called bud sauce, and I want to pack it up and take a gallon of it home with me. They gave us a complimentary loaded fries and it had bacon and burger on it, literally so freakin good. Perfect location, right in the heart of downtown enumclaw, next to a couple awesome bars. The simple smash burger and spicy french fries were a wonderful post hike meal. As a smash burger fan, the simple smash burger is near perfect. The 1/4 lb patties are the star, quality beef, American cheese, a little burger buds sauce and lettuce. No assistance needed from bacon or all the other add ons (which I'm sure are also good). I have been here 2x now and both times the food was great. I prefer a somewhat plain burger and the kids burger is perfect, love the double patty, cheese, ketchup and mustard. Their garlic aioli is great for the fries. I definitely like my fries cooked more on the crispy side, the first time we were there they were a bit limp, the second time they were cooked golden brown and crunchy!! Everyone that I have talked to who works there has been very nice and accommodating, they all seem to really like their job which is important. The weather has been really nice so it was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy our burgers. read more

The service was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Food took about 10min to make but I know it was made to order, which I prefer. I ordered a gyro $11, Greek fries and side of hummus. Absolutely fabulous prices. Don't tell the owner but they could sell that gyro for $4 more and I bet they'd still sell like crazy. There aren't many other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Both were scrumptious and the Greek fries were the best I've ever had. Each fry was still hot and crisp. The cool feta, dressing, olives and peppers make it a nice balanced bite with so many flavors. We will definitely be back, I'm already looking forward to it. And if they move locations in the meantime, I'll find em!

McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.

Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.

I recently tried Burger Buds in Enumclaw, and it was a bit of a letdown. We ordered some burgers and fries, which ended up costing over $60 - definitely pricey for what we got. The fries were okay, a bit overly crispy but nothing terrible. The burgers, on the other hand, were way too greasy. For smash burgers, the patties were so thin they were almost non-existent. The flavors didn't stand out at all, and the whole meal was pretty disappointing. The service was alright, and the staff were friendly enough, but that didn't make up for the food quality. You can head over to Headworks Brewing next door if you need a place to sit. Overall, I had high hopes for Burger Buds, but they didn't deliver. Unless they make some big improvements, I probably won't be back. read more

We arrived with a party of 20 and were easily accommodated by Burger Buds and the brewery. The food came out quickly and well prepared. The burgers used high-quality ingredients and had thoughtful presentation. I especially like the toasted buns. The fries were hot and crispy, down to the last one, and the fry sauce is a must-have - it includes grilled onions! We'll make an effort to return our next time in Enumclaw for sure. read more
