BLACK BEAN VEGGIE BURGER WITH CHEESE & BACON & LARGE TATER TOTS
Darren A.

1st time trying out that spot. I heard/ read great things about BB so we (I) decided to try give it a go. Upon entering, I noted the incredibly friendly / professional staff. Thankfully, we didn't have a long wait at all (for 2 people). Selections: 1) Large lemonades - Generous size and nice flavor. My buddy had a flavored lemonade and mentioned it didn't have much of the other flavor. Otherwise, they were decent lemonades. 2) As a native NYer, I love a messy burger. These were not that. They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. For the price paid, I can't say if I'd return. Maybe other locations season/ flavor their dishes a little more. I dunno...

It's been years since I've been here, so my memory of that experience is long gone. So... I was recently feeling like a late night burger, typically when most burger spots are closing up. With their late hours and short drive, BB made sense. The place itself is simple and no-frills, just like the menu items. My dining friend had a burger and I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich with a large order of tots to share. The sandwiches were okay- not great not awful. Both required some doctoring up to elevate them lol. The tots, however, were the star of the show- crispy with good flavor. Summed up, you can't go wrong for a decent late night meal at a reasonable price.

Burger and fries

Had a grilled mushroom and onion burger with crisp fries. Loved it. Nice place though a bit small inside. Also, they had cream soda. I love cream soda. This place reminds me of Five Guys without the peanuts. Check it out.

Extra fries in the bag

I really wanted a burger the day I decided to come in and check this place out. I ordered a regular cheeseburger that I requested to be lettuce wrapped with ketchup, mustard (which they put in the side in condiment cups), and pickles. They did not wrap my burger, rather they just put some shredded lettuce on the bottom and the top. It was good. Not dry or anything but a little on the small side, portion wise. I paid a little over $20 and really expected a more satisfying burger. It was just ok. The young lady at the register was kind but she misheard me when I ordered and therefore, forgot to add bacon to my burger but no biggie as I just chucked that up to not needing it. Fries were ok and extra came in the bag. The place had ample seating and wasn't at all busy. Paid street parking and lots for your car. I was able to get a spot right in front. My only thing was the restaurant had this minor smell, almost of the plumbing/sewage which wasn't great to smell while trying to eat. All in all, not horrible but I wanted to try something different and be blown away. It was just ok. Check it out for yourself!!

CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH CHEESE
Bianca S.

My favorite place to go for a chicken sandwich! I've been going for years--even when the owners changed. It's a chill spot with friendly staff. I always get the grilled chicken sandwich. A small fry is usually enough for 2 people depending on how hungry you are. Definitely an affordable spot to check out before going to the movies.

I've had Burger Bros on my radar for a good little while & was in Towson on business & decided to go for it. I ordered "The Burger" which is just what it says it is. A traditional cheeseburger w/ grilled onions, American cheese & fries. All in all, my burger was good as well as the fries. There was no other customers in the building, so there really wasn't much of a wait, what I will say is mid way through my wait, I leaped up out of my seat and made my way to the register to request my burger be cooked medium bc I wasn't asked during the ordering process. That's something the cashier should remember to add to their verbiage while placing orders bc there's nothing worse than a well done burger. Overall I gave them 3/5 stars. My burger was good and so was my fries but it didn't blow me away as I hoped it would.

Butter pecan Small Milkshake
Chelitta S.

This is one of the best places for burgers, shakes and fries! Butter pecan milkshake is worth EVERY CALORIE! The large is huge, if you want a nice treat, I would recommend the small or share the large! Burger, Fresh cut fries and onion rings delish! Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is cool for a quick bite, not a huge space, but just enough for a small family to enjoy!

The food is soooo expensive and the burger was not great. If I'm paying those prices I would prefer five guys but that's just my preference

Burgers are very tasty. Small fries is more than enough. Very decent place. Good service under the careful owner's eye.

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE watching food videos on youtube. Could such magic truly exist so close to home? Was this too good to be true?? IT'S NOT!!! What the hell? Why did I wait so long to confirm?? We had an absolutely delightful lunch today, after picking up some new lenses for my boyfriend's old sunglasses at the Sunglass Hut... don't even get me started on THAT fiasco... The kiosk is located down by the post office in the mall. Did you know there's a post office in the mall? Well there is, and oh the stories I could tell from back when I lived in Towson and that was my main office... but, again, this review is about AMAZING hot dogs on a stick. Stop trying to sidetrack me. So my boyfriend got the Mozz Sausage Stick (A half mozzarella and half premium beef sausage stick inside deep fried breading) and the Premium Sausage Hotdog (A deep fried hotdog on a stick with a premium beef sausage inside) and he thoroughly enjoyed both. There are several dipping sauces available, but he didn't need any of them. Our super helpful counter person suggested that we have all our selections dusted with Old Bay, and I can't say that it hurt. I love that she was so friendly and clearly wanted us to have a good experience. Sometimes it's not like that (like at that crappy bubble tea place in White Marsh Mall). I got the Potato Mozz Sausage Hotdog (Half mozz and half sausage with diced potato around it) and it was GLORIOUS. It doesn't hurt that the hot dogs (aka sausages) that they use are top notch. But the cheese pull is just what you want - delicious AND fun. Also I'm a notorious sauce wh0r3 and both the sweet thai chili and the spicy mayo were on point. I had such a great time eating what should absolutely be something that is available at every carnival or festival. Fun and tasty? What more could you want? Go have one. Or a couple. You won't be disappointed. WOULD RECOMMEND

The ordering process was seamless via Toast but the pickup experience didn't quite match. I waited at the counter for nearly 15min staring at my takeout bag on the back counter before anyone helped me. Thankfully the food made up for the frustrating wait! I ordered the cauliflower and potato burrito (smothered style) with a side of the roasted brussels sprouts. The sprouts were nicely roasted with a balanced tender but not mushy texture and simple salt and pepper seasoning. The burrito was absolutely elevated by the mole sauce, which was one of the best that I've tasted in a while. Rich, evolving, with a slow subtle spice. The burrito filling left a little to be desired--the cauliflower paired well with the potato, but I got barely any beans or salsa. Overall, hard to measure up to its sibling Clavel, but Nana seems to be holding its own as a tasty more casual offshoot that I'd happily revisit.

I've been to Nanas twice to see if I feel any different than the first time around but that has yet to happen. I love the decor and ambiance of Nanas which is warm and inviting. And the service has been great both times. But the tacos I feel lack in flavor. The chicken taco was just ok, and the al pastor I found to be mushy which was weird. However, the carne asada was pretty good, as well as the beans, though they could dial it back on the onions a bit. I also feel the price point for the size of the tacos is a bit much. Two tacos and an order of beans came to about $17 with the included gratuity they add. Needless to say I left and was still hungry. I think Nanas is in a good location to offer great tacos in the county area, and I'd love to frequent more often, but I'm still on the fence about the food. I do plan on going back to try one of their hot dogs because they sound pretty tasty.

I used to go to them back in the old market days, and I swear their chili has gotten even better. Their chili dogs are so good that I will get in my car in Glen Burnie and drive all the way to Baltimore just to get one. Yes, JUST for a chili dog! And they have yet to disappoint me. My order is chili, mustard, onions, sauerkraut, and sometimes jalapeños when I want a little extra kick. And please cook that hot dog WELL DONE! I like mine with a little color on it -- don't hand me no pale hot dog! They get it right every time. I'm up there at least twice a week getting my fix. At this point, they probably ought to know my order when they see me coming! If you're looking for a good old-school Baltimore-style chili dog that's worth making the trip for, Sausage Master is definitely one of my spots. We got the vegan dog. It was a plant based sausage flavored with apple sage. It was on a soft bun and we had many different toppings to choose from. We got mustard, cheese, sauerkraut, mild vegan chili and jalapeños. It was a bit messy but such good comfort food. The sausage reminded me a bit of bratwurst, had a good snap and was juicy. All the toppings added texture and a spicy kick. Everything was reasonably priced. Service was very friendly.
