With my cancer treatments, it's been months since I was in a physical condition to eat something as genuinely heartwarming as a burger and fries. I was close to Burger Bros this week, and decided to have my re-entry meal with them. A lot has been said about their quality, and my review wouldn't differentiate from that at all. In fact, I would go out of my way to skip Five Guys to come here. What I'd like to point out is the excellent counter service I've always enjoyed at this eatery. Everyone has always been pleasant, but the courtesies their staff extended given my existing challenges in simply speaking and eating will keep me as an enthusiastic patron for as long as they continue to serve. The management/ownership/customer service has gone down tremendously since new ownership took over. The older gentlemen that worked here previously were quick efficient and gave great customer service. However, the new teens that works here makes it difficult for me to consider going back. Apparently all the burgers are cooked medium and the cashier knows how a burger should be made since age 10 (she is 17 now). She asked if I have ever been to a steak house and I immediately laughed because what does that have to do with anything as they ask how you want the steak cooked. When I pushed back she had a ghost face with her mouth wide open and her eyes as well. Super weird. She refused to make my burger over and said that I can pay for another one. Kids!!! However, The manager came right over, apologized and made me a new burger. I didn't have time for this at all today. I'm going to find a new burger place which sucks because she is just the cashier but calls silly shots as if she owns the place. Been coming here for years!! read more

We got there around 1:25am, they close at 2AM. It was a bunch of playful and loud college kids in there. They were ahead of us and all of them ordered. So we knew the wait time was going to be pretty long. The customer service here was on point. Which I absolutely loved. I feel like other establishments would've kicked them out or caught an attitude. The guys working here still showed great customer service. And aye it's homecoming so they probably expect it to be lit this week. GO BEARSSS . The boneless wings were just okay. The burger was good as hell tho. Three stars because of sanitary issues. One of the guys took a refill for lemonade AND took a whole transaction with the same gloves he touched food with. I watched him to see if he was going to take them off and he didn't. Like had no intentions to, at all. I politely asked him to change his gloves tho and he did with no issue. But still.. ewww?? He only did it because I asked. So nasty. read more

Any burger is better than starched and pressed fast food burgers, in my opinion. The price though, was worth it. I didn't feel cheated at all. The burgers are a great size and super juicy. The fries salt to crunch ratio was perfect and lordddddd, the cooks are very generous with the amount of fires they throw in the bag. This is pretty good food, I ordered a burger with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, mayo, pickles, and mushrooms, along with an order of onion rings and a bottle of rootbeer. Overall, it was good- just very very greasy. Sometimes you just need greasy takeout, and this is the spot for that. I wish it was a bit cheaper, such as grilled mushrooms costing extra- which they shouldn't in my opinion. Other than that, the joint was clean, including the bathrooms, and the service was fine. We were in the area and we wanted a dinner to grab and bring back to our hotel. We did a pickup order and when we got there the owner was so kind and welcoming! These were probably some of the best onion rings we have ever had. They were perfectly crispy and the right amount of onion/breading ratio. Great portion sizes for the prices on the fries and onion rings! While the quality was great, our burgers were mixed up. My boyfriend got a cheeseburger and I got a bacon cheeseburger but he got my bacon and our toppings were switched up. However, we didn't mind as much because they were still delicious. Solid local burger joint. I have nothing against fancy burgers with all the crazy toppings but sometimes you just want a classic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles and Burger Bros consistently delivers. It comes out juicy and flavorful and when combined with their killer fries, *chefs kiss*. But really, it's all good here - their wings are a decent size and always crispy. (Note: their traditional sauce has got a kick to it.) And the onion rings are tasty too - good crust and thick enough rings that you can bite through it without the entire onion coming out. That staff are friendly enough, you know your food is freshly made, and they do a good job quickly turning out orders. Come here for your burger fix - you won't regret it. read more

I got my burger at like 1:30am which I know is late, but I paid extra for me and the wife to have caramelized onions and neither of us had had them. Burger Bros was the go to spot for my family for burgers. They were consistently good. We would tell friends they would try it and agree. Sadly that era is gone. Seems like the business was sold but Im not sure, but I do know the cooks are not the same, and you can taste it in your food. I always get the bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese, Jalapeños and caramelized onion. The patties would always tasted good, definitely didn't taste like the frozen stuff. Last night was different even though my order was the same. You can taste the patty was once frozen and you can taste the grease and the oil from the grill in the burger. The burger tasted very generic and not worth the $12+ tag. It tasted like how I remembered burger king whoppers used to taste. Not good. These fries!!!! are the best fries ever!!!!!! just the right amount of potato without being dry and too starchy. The outside was crispy and hot and well salted. This was probably one of the best burger spots I've been to since moving to Baltimore. It was im-pecc-able (if you know, you know). I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, an extra patty, BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, and pickles. My husband got the same, but with swiss and one patty. We shared a medium fry. The service is quite good. The cashier was nice but seemed a bit dull. The food is cooked to order, so it took about 20 minutes for us to receive our food. We didn't mind because we know that greatness takes time, haha. I honestly don't know how to describe how amazing the burger tasted, but I will try. It was cooked medium, seasoned beautifully, nice sear, the toppings were, it was juicy....it was perfect. The caramelized onions were the truth - definitely one of the best toppings. The fries were fried perfectly and they are not shy with how much they give. It was more than enough to fill both me and hubby. We added some of their old bay seasoning to it and really gave it a nice bang. The price is a bit high, but you get your money's worth for the quality of food. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit here. We've been searching around for a while for a great burger spot and we're very happy to find a local to support. This is definitely our new burger spot. Although it is on the lines of the same concept, what you get here is way better service and excellently cooked food. I am a potato person. I will eat potatoes any way they are cooked. When I get a chance to have fresh cut, fresh cooked fries, I will never balked at that. There is nothing better than a potato freshly cooked in that hot grease filling your belly.
