A great burger! We got the Deuce Deuce burger and loved every bite. Might be nice to note that the sauce they put on the burger definitely has relish in it so had I known that I would have gotten it without. The reason it's getting 4 stars and not 5? The fries and onion rings were underwhelming and the prices are high for a food truck. read more

We found Burger Boys in this super cute little food truck village with tons of options, and the guys at the counter were really friendly. They gave us the lay of the land and let us know they were out of pineapple for the Tropic Thunder, so we swapped in jalapeños. The burger itself was massive, like the size of my hand. Two Wagyu patties with cheese, onions, and jalapeños. Flavor was big and hunger was handled, but it leaned salty and really saucy, so it got messy fast. I also missed having some fresh veggies to balance it out. Price was $26, which felt steep even for Wagyu, though Maui pricing is real. Would've loved a water station or something because that salt hits hard. Return visit is a maybe, but I don't regret trying it, and the staff were genuinely nice. read more

Was told this was the best burger on island! Well we have definitely gotta find out! So off we went! Slightly hard to find, but overall a very nice food truck area! Ordered the original double burger as is with the lemonade and the iced tea... The lemonade was not worth it. Too plain and tasted like water with a hint of lemon. The iced tea was just plain bad. Do not order it! I honestly thought it was me, but had my friend try it and we both agree it tasted like burger sauce...the worse iced tea I've ever had. Skip! The burger finally arrived and it looked good, but not like the pic my friend sent me. Well slice in half and let's try this. The meat was good, the bun soft and fluffy, and just the right amount of sauce. Is it good? Yes. Is it the best burger on island? I didn't think so. Worth the drive? Nope. Staff are friendly. I got the Deuce Deuce burger. The meat tastes great. They don't really add much else to this one particular. No lettuce tomato or onion. Which is fine. There are picnic tables around to sit at while you wait or you can eat there as well. read more

These are Smash Burgers, waygu beef. Actually very good but they don't match the picture. And the classic fries are normal shoestring with out the skins. At 44. For 2 burgers and one French fries I expect great. No s&p or forks or knives. And Pepsi products only. Update: thank you Nicolas We Are just Leaving the area. This was our first time eating here. We ordered a bacon burger that was so good and juicy. We also ordered seasoned shoestring fries that were amazing. The guy taking our order was friendly and our order came out fast. It is in a food truck park and they had a lot of seating. The food was seasoned and tasty. We will definitely return. read more

First of all, I love burgers and fries. Probably overall my number one option ever since I was a little kid. We were in the mood for burgers and decided to try Burger Boys because the reviews were pretty good and it popped up as #1 on Maui got burgers on Yelp. Huge disappointment!!! Way too greasy!!! I can still taste the grease with every burp and I ate 2 and half hours ago and I have been burping a lot even 2 hours after eating. We got four burgers (4 The Original Deuce Deuce burgers, three with bacon) and split four sides (sidewinder fries, shoestring fries, and onion rings). The bill was around $136, $160 with tip. Average of $40 per person. The grease was so bad, the bun of the burger of just slick with grease and it was bad enough that I had to squeeze the burger pretty hard to make sure it didn't fall apart or I didn't drop it. I got The Original Deuce Deuce and added bacon. I barely got half way through the burger before I couldn't take the grease any more. My group split the sidewinder fries, shoestring fries, and the onion rings. They weren't bad, but it was a huge mistake. They are all fried in the grease, so I feel pretty disgusting right now. The onion rings would be the best part of the meal, but nothing worth going back for. For $40 a person, I'm definitely never eating here again. I feel another disgusting burp coming:( read more

This food truck is located inside the South Maui Gardens. I've heard this is a good burger place so I decided to try it out. I chose *The 156° Western 1/4lb wagyu Smashburger, three slices duroc applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, house pickle, heirloom pickled Fresno chili peppers, house sauce, House barbecue sauce on a locally baked shokupan bun. *Sidewinder Fries - Thick spiral cut, skin on beer battered fries with house seasoning I ordered it "to go" so when I opened the box at my cousins house it sure didn't look like those other pictures I saw! lol The fries were good and unfortunately I wasn't as impressed with the burger. Burger cravings drove us right to the front step of Burger Boys and boy are we glad it did! Not all burgers are created equal, and truly nothing is better than a good burger on an island - and Burger Boys hit the spot. P-10: 5/5- well balanced, warm, delicious, soft, and filling. The Original Deuce Deuce: 5:5 delicious, thick, tasty, and filling. Fries: 5/5 - crispy, perfectly salty, and scrumptious! Lemonade: 4/5 - refreshing, a bit underwhelming on flavor though. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the food. This is not in-and-out or McDonalds so if you think you're spending less than $50 for 2 people and probably less than $100 for a family, this isn't the spot for you. Price seems to be a constant reason tourist are docking on reviews and that really isn't the restaurants fault - this is an expensive island. So eat out and pay (and don't bitch) or don't eat out. This is a solid burger joint, and the ambiance of the food truck establishment was quiet, peaceful, and a very nice spot to enjoy a bite. read more

One of the best smash burgers I've ever had, the quality of the beef was amazing and truly the star of the show! It had a great flavor without being too overwhelmed by all the add ons/toppings. The burger was plenty big (and you obviously need to order a side of fries because it wouldn't be complete without that). The ambiance is fun as well! The entire food truck jamboree has options for the whole family, so walk around after you've eaten here and find something else to wash it all down. TIPS & TRICKS: * Parking can be a little tricky, but there are some places along the road or across the street you might be able to snag. * It's super bumping at night, so be sure to pack your party shoes and walk around after! read more

So it's super cute here. A few food trucks, plenty of tables, with a zen vibe. Cashier was pleasant & helpful. I think the burgers are priced too high. They come plain, have to pay for any veggies. We added shredded lettuce, which brought a single to $16, I think. But they were good! Onion rings were so very good! This space is really pleasant! These are some of the most delicious burgers I have ever had. My dad and I both got the P10, and you can taste just how fresh the meat really is. I usually take a picture of my food before eating, but these smelled and looked so good, they had no chance. LOL. Their burgers aren't the only thing they do well here - their fries are delicious, too. You can't go wrong with the sidewinders which have a perfect crisp to them. 4.5 Stars I tried the Deuce Deuce ($22, Double Smash Burger) - humongous and amazing. Melty cheese and fluffy bun. They have wonderfully seasoned sidewinder fries ($6 for small) - my favorite shape that are fluffy and warm on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Amazing dipped in the aioli sauce they serve on the side. The food garden is wonderful - plentiful, shaded clean seating with well maintained garden areas. read more

Excellent food cart within the South Maui Gardens plant nursery and food carts. There are many food carts at this locale, Burger Boys was terrific. We split a Double Double Burger and fries.....like every thing on Maui these days it was spendy but not at all unreasonable. R Highly recommend this cart location surrounded by plants and many choices. Beware however they do have music some evenings and we tried to go the night before and there was extremely loud and really lousy hard rock group that was intolerable, we could not even get close to several of the carts as it was painful to our ears....needless to say we fled the area and decided to try the next day. This day was pleasant with excellent Hawaiian music and hula dancers. read more

Still on the island and I'm still getting the Duece Duece, but with shoestring fries . Once a week though some places on the island have "better" burgers per "tourists" but na, that ain't right. They like that old fashioned mediocre burger which is fine but these wagyu ones are damn good. I don't think they've had burger boys yet. Anyways, I leave in a week and I'll probably get another one. The P10 burger was excellent! The right amount of cheese and toppings. I went without the house sauce and did ketchup. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The sidewinders fantastic!!! I got the P-10 smash burger with a side of small fries. I wasn't sure what to expect with a wagyu patty but the burger was really tasty and the fries were good as well! I felt like the price was a bit high for what you get. When you order, they give you a buzzer and you go pick up your order when it buzzes. Spacious and relaxing eating area with lots of tables around. Overall a solid choice amongst the food trucks in the area if you're craving a good burger! read more

Looking for The Best burger on Maui and this popped up. Normally not a fan of food trucks but decided to give this a try. The oasis is just that. Don't even really feel the Food Truck vibe but feels like built out units. Plenty of seating and the burger was really good! Same for the fries. The ketchup dispenser didn't work but if you don't like ketchup not a problem. Would def go back here. read more

5 star smash burger. One of the best I have had on the island and ever. I was excited to order as the truck itself is beautiful, and I didn't know what a wagyu burger would taste like, but it exceeded expectations even knowing it wouldn't be cheap. Still...the price is pretty ridiculous for a picnic table setting. I think it was over $35 with fries and a drink? Add in tip and that is an expensive lunch for one person. I almost dinged it a star for the price, but I don't think that's fair. Not everyone is as poor as me. lol If you want to treat yo-self...you won't be disappointed. read more

Was so excited to try. Huge disappointment. First few bites of the burger was fantastic, then noticed all of the grease. A good burger allows the meat to speak for itself. It doesn't need to swim in grease and oil to develop flavors. Optimistically speaking, the fries were really good, but my stomach and rest of my body paid the price. So disappointing considering everything I had read about them. read more

On my last trip to Maui, some friends introduced me to Burger Boys. I had the The Tropic Thunder burger and Sidewinder fries. The burger was outstanding and the fries were just right. The atmosphere was relaxing with live music on that particular evening. I enjoyed the place enough that I brought my family back the next week for lunch. This time I had the Chop Cheese burger... it's a new favorite of mine. I can't wait to get back to Maui for the windsurfing and Burger Boys food! read more

Great food. I love that it includes a drink. I always forget to ask for my kamaaina which would make this food much more appropriately priced. Fries and onion rings are both good but nothing out of this world. The 156 Western is spicy and delicious. Next time I might add extra pickles to have some more of a cool crunch to counteract the hot and spicy toppings but I really enjoyed it! read more

The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.

It's a great place to stop by, relax and chill after a hard day of adventures. Surrounding parking is easy and plentiful. The area to the back of the lots has lots of parking space.
