We got the house burger with egg. The burger was big!! Loved that they didn't skimp out on anything. Really loved the amount and freshness of the meal. It tasted very homemade. read more

Our work tried this place for lunch and I loved it so much that I took my family two days later. Burger: 5 outta 5. You get it how it was meant to be. The burger has a crust on top. You can actually taste the meat. The bun is slightly toasted in butter and it really has a great crisp taste to it. I had the jalapeno burger and loved every bite. Fries: 4 outta 5. They were solid. I am not sure what could have made them better but they are fresh and what seem to be freshly cut and made to order. Drinks: 3.5 outta 5. Listen I know you don't come to a burger place for the drinks but their station is just meh. My family noticed their tea didn't have much flavor to it. So I figured I would mention it. Inside: 5 outta 5. Clean and spacious. The staff was nice and attentive. Can't ask for much more. The majority of burger places are just meh. If you actually stop and think about what you're tasting you will realize it's just bland with fresh veggies. Not Burger 82. This place is great! I will say it again, I love that you can actually taste the meat. So good. read more

Great service and awesome food! First time I went I only got the house salad and it was very fresh. Today got the veggie burger, extremely tasty and seasoned very well. Bun is toasted and toppings were fresh. Sweet potato fries and onion rings are top tier. Everyone is very nice here and service is fast! read more

Pretty good burger in a place where there's so many options available. Great price point, cute inside of the restaurant, and easy to get it take out if that's what you're looking for. Good service and expeditious cooks that are tending to what you ask. The burger options were good and the sweet potato fries were easily some of the better I have had in the DFW metroplex. I'd still take Village Burger all the way, but definitely a great stop in a pinch or for a craving! read more

Food is awesome, been here 3-4 times and every time the food is great and consistent. The people at the counter could do a better job of explaining when someone says "this is our first time here, what would you recommend?" The food is great and I have recommended this place to many of my friends who travel to Allen, for work or pleasure. I personally like their BaconEgg Cheeseburger and the tri burger I think. my wife liked the Salmon burger a lot. read more

Just left there. Was going to drop into the Tropical Smoothie next door for g healthier. But thought I deserved a treat of a good burger. The fries, ordered extra crispy were good enough. But the burger... A gray patty LOADED with salt but otherwise totally tasteless. Yuck. Just yuck. For $16 you'd have plenty of choices someplace else. read more

We were in the area and asked YELP where is a burger place near us? We found Burger 82! Had a good rating and now I know why!! The burger was freshly cooked and was very tasty. The place was very clean we had never been there. The young gentleman at the counter was a bit friendly but very business like( could loosen up a bit) but he did explain the menu question s we had. All in all if you are in the area I would suggest give this place a try! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! read more

Very good burgers and sides. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. If I lived local I would return.

80/20 = 82. When I asked the owner what 82 stood for, he said it's the meat/fat ratio that makes the tastiest burger, and it did not disappoint. We had the 82House Burger, Avocado bacon burger, and the Bacon Egg Cheeseburger with fries, onion rings, fried calamari (it was awesome!!!), and fried pickles. The overall experience was fantastic. The house burger had quite a bit of a kick with all the jalapeños put in, which I absolutely loved. The burger was so big that I couldn't finish it. Calamari wasn't rubbery nor greasy. Pickles and fries were also really good. Onion rings were okay but not a complete standout like the rest. Although I didn't get to taste the other burgers, my wife and friends all agreed that it was one of the best burgers they have eaten. The restaurant was clean and the food came out pretty quick. I will definitely be back!!! read more

I don't know how they do it, but Burger 82 has the best veggie burger in the Metroplex. It's not black bean or an Impossible / Beyond Meat burger - just a really delicious patty that won't leave you hungry. The restaurant itself is always quiet, the staff are friendly, and there is never a wait. It's definitely at the top of my list! read more

Burger 82 is a very strong contender for the best burger North of Richardson. Right up 75 and off Exchange, this kinda a humble looking place in the strip was closed for a few months after a car drove through the front glass. Now they're back open and I'm happy to say they're as good as ever. Burger 82 really reminds me of Maple and Motor. It's a great quality huge burger with anything you could want or nothing you don't, with excellent fries and tots as well. I usually don't go in for the complicated burgers, but the house burger here with all it's grilled toppings is fantastic. The burger itself is pretty large. I didn't weigh it on a scale but I would say about six oz. of meat. They cook these hot and fast, because the outside sear is a really nice dark brown fond with a ton of flavor, while the inside is still that perfect pink juicy tender crumble of beef! Definitely not the tense dry cafeteria patty you'd find at too many other places. The bun is pretty good. I'd prefer a bit softer and smaller, but the larger bun holds the larger burger and it's toasted up nicely. On the house burger they top it with grilled onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms, etc. It's like they dumped the kitchen sink onto the grill and then put everything onto a burger. It might be too large for some to eat, but it's delicious. I recommend that with their sweet potato fries for a great meal. Of all the money I spend on food and all the great things (and bad things) I eat, I'm still a sucker for a humble burger. Burger 82 does it justice and is definitely one of the better if not best place in the area. read more

Burger 82 - Hours 4/30/22 - Burgers Near Me - Allen, Texas

The burgers were delicious! I loved the bun ! The fries were delicious also! They had a crunchy texture and they were not soggy!

I ended up getting takeout from here and got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and sweet potato fries! The sandwich itself was okay, however I felt that I was biting down into all the fat which took away from taste of the entire sandwich. The sweet potato fries however were delicious! The service that we received was great! We placed the order and got the food in fifteen minutes and everyone was so nice! Definitely will be back to try their burgers! read more

Tried the restaurant for the first time. I ordered the 82 Tri Burger and my husband ordered the Chicken Philly. Both orders were made into a combo It is a "made to order" restaurant but food times were really good. Our order was correct (we customized) and both fresh and hot! Sandwich toppings were refreshing and at the perfect ripeness ( lettuce snd tomato). Not mushy and not picked too early. (I'm a bit picky about my tomatoes!) Flavors were great and the buns toasted to perfection! Serving sizes are generous The restaurant was clean and staff friendly. We will be back! read more

I am 100% skeptical of super high Yelp ratings, and this place was at a 4.5 with lots of reviews. We decided to give it a shot. Nailed it. Place is super clean, and the AC is cranked (thank you)! Service is friendly, food came out FAST and was DELICIOUS. Cheese sticks stayed stretchy and hot for over 15 minutes. The burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrown was amazing. Can't recommend enough. read more

I finally got the chance to visit the place again, unfortunately I found that the flavor was not the same anymore. The very delicate balance that I found in the burger was no longer there, the flavors were not cohesive. The price and the ambiance is still the same, but the food is not. read more

Decent burger with fresh toppings. Very nice, clean shop in a small strip mall. Service was attentive and friendly. Wide selection of options. Why only 3 stars? Bun to Meat ratio was way out of whack. Way too much bun, which detracts from the meal. I blame this damn brioche bun trend. Don't understand the popularity - they don't taste good and overwhelm any sandwich that uses them. Need a standard bun option! At least! Won't be back because of it. read more

I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger and the fries were like fries from the State Fair. Food came out quickly after ordering and they were prompt on cleaning tables after people left. My wife thought the patty was too thick and taste-wise was just average. The fried pickles were good. There wasn't much air circulating inside making it quite stuffy when we ate. read more

We carried out and I had the greatest burger I've ever had in Texas (Tri Burger). Born and raised here on a diet of burgers, I was stunned by the quality and variety of ingredients. Even with the limited exchange with service just picking up, they were very attentive. Having carried out, I expected to open the box to a soggy burger, but it held its form throughout the entirety of the meal. It's some sort of sorcery- how does it not become a spongey mess while still filled with grilled onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, melted cheese, and a juicy medium rare patty? I know I sound crazy but I genuinely can't believe I just inhaled this burger from mythology. Onion rings were crispy as hell too. read more

Love Burgers! This place will hit the spot....so good! 82 House Burger and sweet potato fries

This place is clean and they serve a solid burger. The bacon on the avocado bacon cheeseburger was perfectly crunchy and the blue cheese bacon burger was very flavorful. There is ample seating which is nice. The service is quick and the burgers are extremely fresh, juicy, and hot! I got the Hawaiian burger with a chicken patty and my husband got the avocado burger with an impossible patty and they were both fantastic. We will definitely be back to try other options here. We also loved the sweet potato fries (highly recommend!). The tater tots were good but they were oozing way too much oil which was the only letdown. But the burgers were hearty and delicious! read more
