Had my 2026 BMW car treated with AllSurface ceramic coating by CalTex at Burdick. After 3 months both sides had faded and lacked gloss. Caltex refused to honor it's'limited warranty'. I called my salesman at Burdick and no return call. I had numerous cars ceramic coated and they did not fade or lack shine. $999 should be refunded. read more

Horrible don't go there find somewhere better, service advisors are horrible with communication to the customers. They do not answer voice mails or phone calls. Beware of Cicero bmw in Syracuse this place is awful!!!! I've had my car in numerous times for the same issue. I would get the car back with the same issue the next week. They kept charging me money for things that did not even need to be fixed true scam artist! The mechanics have no clue what they are doing and the owner Kelly was made aware and could care less! They need more professional staff that actually are knowledgeable and know how to fix bmw cars because they are clueless and need more training! They had my car in for months then I get a call that they totaled my vehicle, this car was payed off and everything. Kelly the owner of bmw was only concerned about getting the loaner car back and making sure everything was good on there end. What about the customer that's completely out of a car because of your incompetent staff that can't drive. She offered me to take out another car with them what a joke lady you should be giving me another car for all my headache I've dealt with you guys. Unprofessional staff! " Dave "  the service manager never returns phone calls and when you attempt to reach him, he conveniently " stepped away from his desk " every single time you reach out to him. They should have emergency slots open for emergent situations, instead their clients are stuck driving a car with emergency alert lights on and it's not their issue. You are told you have to wait two weeks for them to even look at your vehicle. To boot my car was fully serviced two months ago , so I shouldn't have emergency lights coming on in the first place. Praying my breaks don't completely fail prior to them making room to fit me in! Disgusted with their customer service all around! I've been here almost a dozen times for genuine parts. Even though I'm not here to buy a car, they still treat me with the same level of respect as they would a bigger customer. The parts staff are very patient and helpful even when I come in with a long list of just numbers. To whom I hope this is concerning: I drove my 2002 BMW 325i to Burdick BMW for a check engine light. The service manager, Dave called the next day to tell me the car is not worth working on because it has a cracked frame. It took me a while to go and pickup the vehicle because of recent health problems. I think it had been 4 weeks had passed when Dave called to tell me they would have to charge me a storage fee if I didn't pickup the car by that Friday. I went to BMW the next day to pickup the car only to find the car would not start. I went into BMW and purchased a new battery for $200. That was not the problem. I drove the vehicle weekly up until I dropped it off at Burdick BMW to check on the check engine light. Now the car wouldn't even start and they wanted it out of there. I asked how can I bring n my car that ran ok and now it doesn't even start. I turned the car back in to get it fixed. 2 weeks went by and I had an appointment for my other BMW. While checking in my car I asked about the 2002 BMW and when it would be ready. Dave got very heated and became extremely loud and rude with me and told me to "Get that piece of crap out of here before Friday". I stated it doesn't run, how do I get it out of here. He said he didn't care. I began to get angry. I brought in a working car, paid the $100 plus diag fee for nothing,, bought a new battery for nothing, and now I have the expense of towing it out of there. I said I am not picking up the 2002 BMW until its at least in the condition I left it there in. I then told them I did not want them working on my other car with the check engine light problem. I asked Dave who he worked for. He stated " No One,, I'm the boss" . Dave also stated "You don't spend any money here anyway" I have purchased 3 BMW's from your dealership over the years and have had all of my maintenance done thre as well. Why am I being treated like a bad guy? No other employee would give up the name of his boss. I assume he works for the owner. I asked for a phone number and was only given a generic customer service email address, worthless. I would like this issue resolved as soon as possible. On multiple occasions I have been more than extremely disappointed with the service at Burdick BMW. The first time I took my car in for service, they had asked me if I had any concerns. I had expressed that my tire pressures were off and that I couldn't get one of the tires to be equal to it's opposite tire and was hoping they could address that. Upon picking up the car I received the statement of all work that was done to address the normal service that was due as well as 1) addressing the tire pressure and 2) hand washing the car. As I proceeded to my car I very quickly realized that it hadn't been washed. I didn't particularly care about this since I wash my car myself anyways, but thought it was odd that they would say they washed the car when it was more than apparent that they hadn't even attempted to (there was dirt everywhere as I hadn't washed my car in quite some time). As I drove away I checked the tire pressures and sure enough the tire pressures had not been addressed. So I quickly called Burdick BMW and mentioned my concerns. I asked "how am I supposed to trust that they changed the oil, etc. if the statement I was given said they hand washed the car and checked the tire pressures when those were clearly lies." The response was a quick defensive one such as "Of course we did the service and changed the oil." When I had to explain to them that 2 things on the service statement were lies they told me that I should be able to inflate my own tires and that shouldn't be an issue. I was not very pleased to say the least. Regardless, I continued to bring the car in for service, which did not by any means improve at all. Regarding my most recent service trip, I noticed my tire pressure in one tire was low so called to make a service appointment. I work 6-7 days a week and close to 80+ hours a week so have very little time to do anything otherwise. So I called ahead and asked if someone could look into my current warranty to see if I have tire coverage and if not if I could get an anticipated cost of tire replacement so I know what I was getting myself into before I took my car in. I waited a few days and didn't hear back, so I called back. The receptionist was very polite and apologetic. She looked into it for me and said my file had written in it that they would inform me of the information when I dropped off the car. I told the receptionist that kind of defeats the purpose since my time is very limited and if I knew the cost would be prohibitive to begin with I wouldn't waste their time in looking. She again was very apologetic but couldn't fix the problem. So I dropped the car off to have the tire inspected and when I asked about if there were any warranties specific to the tire brand itself the employee looked at me like I was an idiot and made some sort of negative comment suggesting the question was absurd. I didn't end up having my tires changed at Burdick, because 1) the costs were unreasonably high for what they are doing and 2) the service is so poor that unless I am in a position where I am forced to allow them to work on my car I will happily give my service and money to someone else. At the end of the day, I am sad to say that I will never buy a vehicle from Burdick BMW; and honestly, I may never buy another vehicle from any Burdick dealership at all. I am a longtime BMW lover, but will likely end up having to go out of town for my future purchases. The only reason I will continue to go to Burdick is for the scheduled service appointments (and only because my car is under warranty), but at the same time I may start going out of town for those to avoid having to deal with the disappointing service there. read more

Terrible Service! Terrible Technicians! I took my car to the service department for an intermittent service engine light that came up at 5K rpm , car s tarted to hesitate, and experienced loss of power when passing or entering a highway. A local shop diagnosed HPFP failure. Since it was covered under warranty, I took it to Burdick BMW. A historical MISTAKE! They insisted that it was not HPFP, but spark plugs, and engine coils. Paid the diagnostic fee, plus parts ($700), and had them replaced at a Local shop: (NOT because I saved money, but they left everything under the hood, in my trunk instead of putting them back after diagnostics. Unknowingly, I drove the car for a week until the next appointment without filter, engine covers or seals. My engine was covered in snow the first time I noticed it). After the changing coils and spark plugs and having the pieces put together, NO change. SAME symptoms. It was GUARANTEED to solve the problem OR i WOULD NOT PAY ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC FEE!! I don't have to tell you that previous spark plugs and coils were only a year old. I took my car there another time for a FREE diagnostic again. After waiting two hours, they told me that it could be so many things but they have to charge me another $120 to tell me what it is??? BECAUSE they exceeded the free diagnostic time. Hoping that they can tell me what is wrong, I agreed and paid the fee to learn that my fuel injectors COULD be the problem, and I was quoted $2300 to replace them all. I said NO THANKs and took my car. I actually believed that they diagnosed the problem this time and almost ordered the pieces to another BMW dealer for $1200. At the end, they made me wait 4 hours while working on the car??? Fortunately , i wanted a second opinion, I took my car to my local shop on state fair blvd, and had my HPFP checked. He tighten some bolts and nuts, and told me that it was a simple fix. He didn't charge me anything, and told me to come back if the problem persists. I have been driving the car for a week, hitting the readline all the way up, No check Engine light. The car is better, faster, more powerful than new right now. This is the story of Burdick BMW wanted to charge me over $3500 in total for a simple fix I got done for free somewhere else. If you like your BMW, DO NOT go there. BMWs last a long time. My 530i is driving like new at 220K miles and hasn't required any repairs besides basic maintenance. Burdick Service almost made me sell my 335i at 100K due to expensive repairs that made it look like it was unreasonable to keep it. Now, I am looking forward to drive it for another 100K miles. read more

They can never fix my car in a timely manner and I usually need to get a rental car, which I have to pay for myself. My wife and I have traveled to Syracuse for our daughters graduation. After arriving in Rochester we drove to Syracuse in our daughters 2004 X5. She complained that the brakes started having problems about a week ago. In fact the brakes were in need of repair. I called Burdick BMW to see if they could help. They were able to fit us in the next day. The car is fixed and I can go back to New Mexico and feel confident that the repairs are done correctly. This car was my wife's and we gave it to our daughter because we wanted her to be in a safe reliable vehicle. BMW's are safe, the dealer here took care of us like our local dealer would. Dear BMW North America, I was the first owner of a 2012 BMW X5. Having come from a lower middle class background, this was the first BMW in my immediate or extended family. I have meticulously maintained the car at the Burdick BMW Cicero dealership. In my 40 years, this is my first letter of complaint. Listed below is a surpisingly long list of problems I have had with your car, I feel compelled to make as many aware as possible. 1. 40,000m - rattle with changing gears 1-3. * Burdick BMW- cross member or stabilizer bar. Replaced with no improvement. ($296) 2. 40,686m - stranded on NY 90 on a return family trip to Cape Code. * Burdick BMW- overheated fuel pump. ($777) 3. 44,000m - intermittent engine light and warning "reduced power-drive with caution." * No change in the feel of the car and no service sought. 4. 45,000m - stranded on 81N at 1am while returning from work n a snow storm. Error message, "car overheated- reduced power, pull over." * Burdick BMW- replaced water pump and thermostat ($1476) 5. 46,000 - Only one week later. Engine light reduced power drive with caution is now more frequent (same warning as #3). I schedule service. Two days before service, the car will not start after work. Tow truck called. * Burdick BMW- Ground fault corrosion and computer replaced(Burdick waived the bill but computer failure under 70K is covered by warranty regardless) 6. 46,000 - two days after getting back the car from service #5 engine light reduced power drive with caution again. * Burdick BMW- suggested turbo failure $5318 estimate which I refused I returned the warranty and traded in the car for a more reliable car at a non-Burdick Toyota dealership **Over the last 40 days of my ownership, the car had been in the shop 19 days on three separate warning lights/repairs **Over the last 9 months of my ownership, the car was nonfunctioning and had to be pulled over/towed three times. * I requested BMW buy back the car at retail and analyzed for quality control. This was promptly rejected. * Burdick BMW sales and service managers were cordial but would not let me discuss the matter with the dealership owner. I was told that BMW North America was made aware of the long list of issues. I was offered $1K off a new X5. Thanks for nothing! * My thirds suggestion was to trade in the X5 at retail for a used car next door at another Burdick driver's village dealership. They offered me 6K below retail for the X5. Really! * BMW North America hotline reps apologized but would not let me discuss the matter higher management. Not surpised at this point! Call me a naive to big corporation business practices, but this behavior is simply shameful! I would be embarrassed as a company to not stand behind a $54K+ car that crumbles at 40,000+ miles. First time I went to Burdick BMW, I was looking to upgrade and purchase a new 328i(this was years back). I was treated rudely as if they assumed I couldn't afford one because I arrived in a 7 year old Toyota. Ended up buying a new C-class from another dealership. Years later, I picked up a older BMW and went to these guys for parts. They also treated me as if I couldn't afford a BMW and tried to screw me by selling me a key without programming it for me. Ended up doing it myself. Seems like if you don't show up to their lot in a late model 7-Series or Rolls-Royce, they won't give a single **** about you. Short version: They're liars. I trusted them twice and got fooled twice. This review is just for the sales department. It's an ok place if you don't care about money. If you're in upstate NY, go to the two other dealerships in the area --- they may not give you the best price, but they keep their words seriously. BMW Burdick: they told you they've made a mistake, and YOU have to pay for THEIR mistakes. If you want to save money and have good experience, go to NJ or PA: I regret so much that I didn't buy my car there. Full story: I did my test drive there. The sales person was nice and the experience was good. One month later, I decided to buy the X3 and started quoting around, because there is no BMW dealer within 1hr driving from where I live. A NJ dealer (3.5hr away) gave me a good deal, and I was ready to go in the morning. Then BMW Burdick texted me and said they could match the price. Great! This would save me 2hr drive. After I arrived, I was told the trade-in value of my old car is $1000 less than the offer from my local dealer, who actually inspected the car and ready to pay me cash (NJ dealer offered $2000 more). OK, then no trade in. Then I was told they've made a mistake in the price --- I would have to pay $200 more than they promise. I felt I was fooled and I walked out immediately. At that time, there is no time for me to go to the NJ dealer, so I went to another BMW dealer in upstate NY, who gave me $1000 more in trade-in and $100 less in vehicle price. After I got my X3, I started to have some questions, and BMW has an Encore event for answering questions from the new owners. Then I called BMW Burdick to make an appointment, and they told me I could get $100 accessory voucher for attending. Then I asked whether I could get it even if I didn't buy my car there. She hesitated, asked someone and gave me a positive answer. Great! I went there. The event is informative. Then I got my envelope --- without a voucher inside. I asked, and the manager told me, "if anyone said that, it is a mistake", AGAIN. This is a story about $300 (and $1000 in trade-in). If you don't care, BMW Burdick could be the place for you. To me it's not just about $300: it's about my time, and the unpleasant feelings of being fooled, AGAIN and AGAIN.
