The portion size is way more than I can eat in one sitting, and the flavor is hot, fresh and crispy! It comes with macaroni salad and sautéed vegetables. But they have traded the macaroni salad for french fries and still, the french fries alone are a double order! But the fish itself is the silver bullet in this dish, it truly is extraordinary. Sherrie agrees with me, but she loves the Short Rib dinner, so that's what she had tonight. Take a look at my meal tonight, then look at how much was left over after I was done. Like I said, Tiki is still 5-Stars !

Ok if I could have have no stars I would have. I have traveled the US and ate authentic Hawaiian…read morefoods and this place is not that. It seems to be asin, Chinese or Japanese. No pineapple sauces or pineapple dishes, chicken was processed and breaded and refried to super hard to eat and the sauce they give you isn't authentic either. Then on top of all that they gave me White rice and I hate white rice and wanted fried rice brown. If you say your serving Hawaiian then be that, but to have me tell them to their faces in May 19 2026 at about 145 pm that I have never ate there and if their food was great I'd revisit..the guy taking the order said they have the best potion . What a strange statement from a good server. The experience was a total loss of money and not authentic fresh Hawaiian food How lame do not waste your money on rice the is hard and dry and chicken that is processed and breaded which is cooked in old grease. Will never eat their again

My family has been dining at Smokey's for over a decade, from its original unique historic train…read morestation location to the current Ellensburg Pearl Street new home. We love the quirky decor showcasing its mountain of BBQ competition awards over the years, and the always friendly service. The main BBQ feast, from brisket, ribs, to pulled pork are hands down the juiciest and most flavorful in PNW, accompanied by equally delicious varieties of BBQ sauce. They offer many different combo's for those who want to try different meats and sides, and while the portion may be comparably smaller than other BBQ restaurants, I much prefer Smokey's focus on quality over quantity. It also allows us to have room to savor their delicious apple or cherry pie for dessert. Up until my most recent trip, I would have given it 5 stars. The reasons I've taking one star off were 1) the cornbread was cold, dry, stale, and lacking in flavor, a big disappointment because their cornbread used to be the highlight of our meal, 2) ribs was not available at 12:30pm when there were barely any customers which was quite unexpected for a BBQ joint. It's quite a trek for us to come to a Ellensburg from Seattle, but I look forward to giving Smokey's back its 5 stars status in my next visit.

The gentleman told us to have a seat anywhere, look ay the menu and order from him at the counter. We looked over the menu found our desired food. My husband and daughter went to place our order I got the pulled pork sandwich with no slaw with potato salad. My husband got a 2 meat combo of brisket and pulled pork with green beans and Mac n cheese. My daughter got the trash can nachos minus everything but meat cheese and chips (the man didn't seem pleased she only wanted those things). I got a sweet tea that was decent. My sandwich came out way before my families meal came out. The man just came to the table asked whose it was and handed it to me across the table. Finally my families meal came the nachos were in a tin can and he poured it out onto a big tray. I'll give it a thumbs up for creativity. They were really good the cheese had a bit of spice. My sandwich was mid. Not the best not the worst I have had. It wasn't very hot when I got it and the bun seamed to over take the pork. The sauce was also so so. The potato salad was ok but didn't have much flavor. My husband said over all his meal was a 3 out of 5. The Mac n cheese and green beans were the best thing he had that night. This place will do the job but not sure I would go back if we are ever back here. There was a dirty table when we came in and the guy just seemed bothered to have to work. Maybe it was an off day for him. * I forgot that they have a meal for unhoused or people who cannot afford a meal. A couple came in and asked for the free meal. I think it's nice they so this*
