If I had a garage fridge you better bet I would take advantage of the 21+ meals for $6.85 a meal! I'm super excited I found this place and how affordable it is compared to factor and other similar services, not to mention how yummy the food has been so far! The pizzas they have there are AMAZING! If they have the Taco pizza make sure to grab one, or the buffalo chicken one. You can eat the whole thing and it fits within my macros! Also, hot tip, The taco pizza is especially amazing dipped in a bit of plain green yogurt and ortega taco sauce! It is honestly one of my current favorite meals, it also feels like a cheat meal, except it isn't! I had a new smoothie today and it was amazing, ask for a starberries and cream smoothie! What a TREAT!!!! I might just have to go back tomorrow and get another one when I pick up my meals for the week! The owner is very very nice and all of the people who work there are great. They always recognize me when I come in now, which is such a nice touch! This place is a no brainer if you are a busy person like me who wants to eat healthy! The only thing I haven't tried yet is a meal from their menu for dine in, but I plan to do that soon with some friends with Orange Theory after class :)

I ordered the Big Italian Beef Sandwich. It showed up with very little beef in the bread. I mean not even enough to fill the regular size one. They charged $10.69 for a longer bread, it was not wet like I ordered. and it had hot peppers instead of sweet peppers. Nothing like I am used to, and nothing like the photos. Failure once again. I am going to go to the Crystal Lake location and order the same sandwich. If it is lacking, then Portillo's corporate is making a big mistake. picked up a combo sandwich through the drive thru Saturday September 30,2023. It was the smallest sandwich I ever had a Buona Beef. It was 1/2 the size of what I am used to getting. We normally eat at the Schererville Indiana location and the combo sandwich is large there. Plus the usual flavor of the Italian beef was not as good as we normally have experienced. We love Buona beef and we eat most everything on the menu but this last order of a combo with sweet peppers was disappointing. read more
