I came across their listing for a 2009 Acura MDX, and reached out to Brian, the manager at the Bangor location, as I know him from church. I could not have asked for better car buying experience. In working with Brian and Rusty, I was able to take the car for an extended test drive to see how would work for my family. I was also able to take it to my preferred mechanic to get it thoroughly checked over without getting any hassle like you may get from other dealerships. The trade-in value that I was offered was excellent, and the final price I paid for the vehicle was more than fair given the superb condition of the SUV. Throughout the entire process, everyone was open and honest about all aspects of the deal. All in all, I would highly recommend Right Way Auto if looking for a high-quality pre-owned vehicle. Could not be happier!

I was skeptical at first because I live in Augusta and thought I would have to eventually visit the dealership. Boy was I wrong. Once we decided on a vehicle - it was brought to home in Augusta for a test drive and then the finance application was done on-line and all paperwork was delivered with the car once we agreed on the price and delivery date. What an awesome experience! We bought the 2016 Buick Enclave and are overjoyed.

ZERO STARS -- $3,519.65 SPENT, FOUR VISITS, SAME PROBLEM Our…read moreVolvo XC60 had an intermittent problem with the doors locking and unlocking. Sometimes they would unlock, sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes they would lock, and on occasion, they could actually leave you locked inside the vehicle. We took the XC60 to Darling's Volvo, expecting a Volvo dealer to have the expertise to diagnose and repair the problem. What followed were months of expensive repairs with no resolution. January: $200.85 "Diagnostics." We were told the key fobs were the problem. New key fobs: $1,009.28. The problem continued. February: Back to Darling's because the doors still weren't locking and unlocking properly. Appointment made. April: Wiring in the vehicle was repaired, along with work on the driver 's-side door lock and tailgate latch. Required us to rent a car for 4 days.: $2,309.52. The problem continued. (By this point, we had paid Darling's $3,519.65 and still had essentially the same problem we originally brought the vehicle in to have repaired.) August: Back again with the same issues. This time, we were quoted approximately $740 for the tailgate latch and another $1,200 to rewire the vehicle. That was enough. After spending more than $3,500 without resolving the problem, we were now facing another approximately $1,940 in proposed repairs. We had become so frustrated that we were actually considering trading the vehicle. It seemed clear they COULD not or WOULD not fix the issue. Instead, we took the XC60 to our local mechanic. The OEM latch from Volvo- $71 (not 740). Labor to install- 1 HR. Their bill was $189.15. Problem solved. That is perhaps the most frustrating part of the entire experience. After four trips to a Volvo dealership, thousands of dollars in repairs, and proposed additional work, another repair shop resolved the issue for less than $200. I understand that modern automotive electrical problems can be difficult to diagnose. What I cannot understand is repeatedly paying substantial amounts to address the same complaint without resolving it, and then being asked to spend still more money on additional repairs, including rewiring after wiring work had already been performed. We went to a Volvo dealer because we expected specialized knowledge of Volvo vehicles. Based on our experience, that expectation was badly misplaced. Darling's: $3,519.65 -- problem not solved. Kennedy Tire and Automotive: $189.15 -- problem solved. That comparison says more than anything else I could write. I would not return to Darling's Volvo for service, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend their repair department. Nor would I expect to ever use ANY Darling's facility for any reason in the future. I did have a few words for the service manager. They are not fit for print.

Let's just put this to bed...call me and resolve this once and for all. All I ask is you finish this sale and sell me the car I paid for, not in pieces or give me my money back and I know there are plenty of car dealers in this beautiful state who would love my cash. I want the car I paid for and I dont deserve to sit and waste my time in your waiting room due to you errors. . I spent my Monday afternoon there (8/29/22) because of what you failed to do and now I have to come back again for another thing you failed to do...I will not sit around there again waiting, I paid a lot for this car and all I want is what I paid for, a complete car. PLEASE SOMEONE FROM QUIRK PICK UP YOUR PHONE AND CALL ME. IT WONT BE HARD TO FIGURE OUT WHO I AM. Like I said I am 63, I have bought a lot of cars and I have never seen a thing like this, ever. Pure abuse

I started with Jeeps at the Ellsworth branch and in 2017 leased a new Ford Escape Titanium for my wife. We absolutely love this car and its many safety and comfort features. Every time I was purchasing a vehicle through either the Ellsworth or Bangor branch, I've had nothing but excellent service. Whether it was the sales people, the management, or the people out back doing the paperwork, it's has always been a great experience. I've had our major service work done at Darlings as well. At both the Ellsworth and Bangor branches, I've been well taken care of with excellent service in a courteous and timely manner. Thank you to the entire Darlings Team!

She limped into Darling's and one of the service team took over from there. Connor (I don't have his last name but I will encourage my daughter to name her first child after him!) was fantastic. He led us through every step of what turned out to be very bad news - a ruined transmission - informing us of what the options and costs were. Connor made numerous calls to find a rebuilt or new transmission and calls to my friend's husband to get his input. Unfortunately, none of the options were good. Connor ultimately arranged a rental car for us so that we could enjoy the last few days of our holiday and then he was the point person on getting the van shipped back to Idaho where it 'lives'. We are so thankful for Connor's help in all of this and were so pleased that we had someone who with kindness and understanding and a touch of humor walked us through the whole process. Thanks Connor.
