Amazingly good bubble tea here. I got the Taro Milk Tea with Boba. I also tried my friends Rose Tea. Both were delicious and had a good balance of sweetness, flavor, and texture. Super delicious ! Our waffle was PERFECT not too sweet, even with the powdered sugar. It was crunchy & warm. Loved it. We also order a Classic Thai Tea with Boba & that was also very good. Absolutely love the decor, I love the general idea of this place. Build your hive with the tables and the teas themselves are great! The only thing stopping this place from getting the full five stars from us is the simple fact that the staff seem like they don't want to be here. If anyone can understand how work is work sometimes it's me, but no greeting seems to be an effort to make it known that they are unhappy. Working minimum wage jobs can be disappointing and I hope things look up for them. Getting back to the food and drink options, I was happy to see the prices and the options for snacks and flavors of tea! Can't wait to return! Moving to Raleigh from the Bay Area recently, we were on a hunt for boba places. When we found Bumble, we couldn't wait to try. The wife and I both got OoLong milk tea with pearls, one with almond milk and the other with their standard Bumble cream. The almond milk one was decent. You can taste the OoLong and the pearls were cooked just right. The one with Bumble cream was overwhelmed with the cream flavor, not good at all. Felt like I just took the coffee creamer and drank it out of the carton. The cashier was super friendly though. We might come back but will not get the Bumble cream drinks. read more

This place was absolutely adorable-- this place won me over with the cups. I found this place on Yelp after looking for a spot to get boba while visiting Raleigh. My friend has never gotten boba tea and even though the place was busy for lunch rush, the sweet woman at the counter was so patient and answered all of my friend's questions and explained all options on the menu. The tea was fantastic I got honey milk tea at 75% sweetness (which seems to be the normal sweetness based on Yelp) and my friend got the matcha tea with almond milk. We loved it so much we are going back again at least once more during my trip. The cups they use are super sturdy you can actually take off the top and use them as a plastic cup after. The line was out the door on a Friday night which means that it's a popular place. I loved the atmosphere, super cool wall decor and vibes overall. I'm my go-to bubble tea is strawberry milk tea, which they didn't have on the menu, that surprised me. I opted into taro tea, as well as a red velvet, tiramisu and cookies and cream macaron. We love coming to Bumble Tea and will probably go out of our way to come here. The boba is Q and always cooked well, and the tea is more flavorful than other brands, even if you get 25% sugar. My favorite is the OG and the earl grey flavors. My husband really likes the taro! read more

I crave boba tea... I mean - SERIOUSLY CRAVE IT! I've had these in Hawaii & California for years and I have my perfect drink narrowed down to their Tiger Milk Tea. It's wonderful and I have yet to find another boba tea place in this area that come close to making it this good. Very disappointing. Unfortunately I received the worst service I've had in a long time. No one spoke to me or my companion when we entered the establishment. We were never greeted. There were no other customers and the ladies upfront clearly saw us as we made eye contact. We tried speaking to them asking them about their day and just a friendly greeting. Instead of asking if we needed help or if we were ready to order the lady up front started to texting on her phone. After standing there for a moment my companion and I decided it was best to just leave as the service was horrible. Ironically after the silent treatment we did receive a "goodbye" from one of the girls upfront. Wouldn't recommend this place based on customer service. read more

I am a certified milk tea lover and let's just say, Bumble does it right! I got the Rose milk tea with lychee jelly which had a pleasant floral taste with just the right amount of sweet and creaminess. I also ordered the Bumble waffle, which I really enjoyed also. The waffle is made to order so it was served warm with the outside being crispy and the inside, soft and chewy - just how I like it! The shop interior is colorful and artistic which is pretty neat with limited seating but I'm totally digging the vibe. I didn't have any issues with service either, everyone was very friendly and the whole transaction was quick and smooth. I will definitely bee back if I am ever in the area again. read more

Bumble Tea is one of our favorites! We love to run in while we're doing our errands and grab a bubble tea (Thai and Matcha are our favorites). We discovered this place by accident when having dinner at the Indian restaurant in the same shopping center. This is our favorite pace for bubble tea and it's probably the best in a Raleigh- lots of flavor, milk, and topping options. The fresh waffles are a nice touch and they've just added cakes as well! I was excited to try bubble waffles after seeing travel vids in China eating these. I was expecting crispy, airy and light waffles...what we got was heavy and soggy. We order 1 plain and 1 with coconut ice cream. The ice cream was good (1 star) We also had the fruit punch boba tea and traditional milk tea boba. The fruit punch was just sweet not fruity. We didn't finish it. The milk tea was fine (1 star) Total bill for a snack =$23. Will not be back. read more

This was my first time here and it won't be the last. I even decided to get my kids their first taste of boba tea, maybe I should have thought that through a little more, they are now addicted lol. There were so many options and toppings to choose from though I stuck with more of a traditional version, I can admit I helped my husband drink his tea because he had popping boba which was so good. Drinks and ice cream: average amount of outlets and tables: adequate Main reason for a 3 star instead of 4 is because of how hot it is in the cafe. They have 2 small fans running for the entire place with AC that I'm not sure is even on. When the place gets crowded with people, this place can get very hot very quicky. read more

I had the crab claws, crispy shrimp and dumplings. The crab claws were delicious. Lots of them too. Served with bread I didn't use. The crispy shrimp were nice large shrimp and a spicy sauce with rice. I ended up using the rice with the crab claw sauce. And the dumplings were ok but I didn't eat many of them. They were my least favorite. I would come back to enjoy coffee and breakfast, but doubt I come back for dinner.

We got 50 little neck clams, and needed some bread. Their sourdough looked good, so I got a loaf. The sourdough that we bought was literally the most dense bread I have ever eaten. Even soaking it in clam broth did not help. Tried an un-soaked piece, and it was like eating tough jerky. The dogs didn't even want it. After dinner I cut one each of the pastries in quarters to share. The lemon had a very slight taste of lemon (very very slight), and although the blueberry appears to be packed with fruit, it only tasted like soggy dough. (See pic). My last shot was the macaroon. I gave one to my daughter to split with me. She barely split it. The filling was like the mixed it with marshmallows. It stretched while the cookie crushed, and also did not taste good at all. I would like to think they got a new pastry chef that is learning, but sorry, at 42 bucks for that amount of food that was all bad, I'm not going to be another guinea pig. Oh, no one wanted the other lemon or blueberry bar, so sadly I threw them out.
