We knew from the reviews and photos of Bumble Tea, this would be the perfect place for our cocktail hour! My husband and I contacted Bumble Tea to cater 60 drinks for our wedding at a local venue in Raleigh. Srini, our point of contact at Bumble Tea, was friendly and easy to connect with. We ordered 4 different drinks & every single guest raved about them! He delivered them on time and even helped with setting them up! If you are looking for a catering boba place or even a small drink for yourself, I highly recommend this place! My personal favorite is the mango jasmine tea with tapioca pearl boba.
Came here for a Yelp event and we had a great time! I tried four different boba drinks and all four were good. I think my favorite was the Jasmine or the plain Thai milk tea, but my wife also especially enjoyed the taro. Their Nutella taiyaki was doughy and delicious. We even bought a few macarons to bring home, and my favorite had to be the matcha berry. And the place itself is rather nice inside with plenty of seating. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful, even through what was clearly a stressful night for them. They were quickly taking orders and making dozens of drinks with smiles on their face the whole time. Absolutely top notch service!
Loved their taiyaki, it is full of filling inside. You can get many different fillings beside red beans. It is fresh and hot in a bag when they hand it to you. This is the first boba tea cafe that I been, that have taiyaki fish cake. They also have ice cream too Their milk tea is ok, tea is not very strong. Other boba chain is better in my opinion. I would definitely come back and get their taiyaki and have a drink.
Bumble Tea - Interesting name Bumble Thai Tea - This tasted like chai. You can get fish shaped waffle and icecreams. Overall pricing is decent. Lots of wonderful flavors - Rainbow, lychee. Everything about this place is so cute! The decor, the cleanliness, the service, the big black chalkboard with handwritten menu items, the Instagram worthy backdrop - everything. Hubby and I stopped by for a couple of drinks and some waffle with vanilla ice cream before our day date and our selections were divine! He had the Hulk with boba and I opted for the Hawaiian - loved both but I personally think his was much better (flavor wise). I wanted strawberry ice cream with our waffle too, but they were out so the vanilla was just fine. We waited until the ice cream melted a little from the heat from the waffle and it was delicious! They've got lots of options to choose from, and this place is so worth a try!
Good bubble tea spot. We were visiting for the long holiday weekend and I couldn't go without getting my boba fix. We ordered 3 drinks: - Tiger Milk Tea (black tea, Thai tea, milk) add boba - Dirty Milk Boba (organic whole milk, brown sugar, boba) add crystal boba - Passionfruit FT (passionfruit syrup, green tea) add rainbow popping bubbles (mix of mango, strawberry, and lychee) The drinks were good and the person taking our order was very friendly. Drinks came out accurately made and pretty quickly. Definitely would recommend this place if you're in the area.
If you want to find a cute boba shop with many different menu options, Bumble Tea is a great place to visit! First off, Bumble Tea has a pretty big menu with many different selections including: milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and recently added lattes! You can add various toppings to your drink, and there are so many helpful options for individuals with food intolerances/ limitations. Bumble offers the ability to customize which milk and sweetness level goes into your tea. Personally, my favorite drink I have gotten here would be the boba honey milk tea and the boba taro milk tea. Both drinks are sweet, but the quality is good, and the flavor does not overwhelm me. In addition to delicious drinks, Bumble Tea has good-tasting macarons, and they also serves taiyaki pastries. The atmosphere is very cute. They have lots of games to play at your leisure, and they even have a designated area towards the back of the store to take artsy pictures! The staff is extremely friendly, and they take their time to listen to you if something is not up to your standard. Overall, bumble tea has great drinks, yummy pastries, and a great environment. This business is definitely worth a trip!
On the streak of boba places! Bumble tea is in a shopping plaza I usually don't even think about. It's a great little space though. Plenty of parking and nice comfortable seating. They also have taiyaki which I am a huge fan of. I'm so glad that it's been a hit and I don't have to buy the frozen ones at the grocery store anymore. We enjoyed our tea and a Nutella taiyoki. Highly recommend Bumble when in the area.

Bumble Tea is a great place to get a boba tea, waffle, or smoothie. They have a novelty "light bulb" cup that you can get as well for an additional buck. Pretty much, this place has all of the Instagrammable goodies without skipping on flavor or quality. I ended up getting their "Tiger Milk Tea" which is pretty much Thai tea with added tapioca pearls. Compared to a regular Thai iced tea, it has black tea added so it's a little bit more not as "heavy" and more balanced. It works well. Idk why they called it Tiger because there are no stripes, but still good nonetheless. Overall, a good place to get your boba fix!! Next time I'll try out their waffles. Seems pretty delish!!!
Oh my, I have been to numerous boba tea places and this one is by far my favorite. Not only do they have incredible beverages, but they also serve taiyaki. If you haven't eaten these sweet, filled fish-shaped pastries you are missing out. They offer various filling options to choose from and are ready quickly. I highly recommend making your way over to Bumble tea. You can easily find them in a large shopping plaza near NC State. There is ample parking and the establishment is colorful and welcoming. The employees are incredibly friendly, efficient, and helpful. I recommend pairing a taiyaki with one of their delightful boba teas. We like the dirty milk boba and taro boba teas with Nutella taiyaki the best!
We got there almost at closing time. I got a Taro smoothie and it did not disappoint. It was very tasty.
I came here solely because Matthew 'Da Man' Yap came here and I wanted to see the man he mentioned working who had long hair that kept swiping it away from his eyes before preparing drinks. Sadly, I did not see this man to experience the hair follicle fingers for myself. But what I did find instead was a sensational, dreamy, creamy smooth smoothie that sent me to another dimension. I ordered their large lychee smoothie for 5.25. In addition I opted for mango popping Boba as a topping. Toppings are generally 50 cents but I got a free topping coupon when I checked in using Yelp so used that to my advantage. The popping Boba just adds another level of depth and it's so fun to pop in your mouth for an explosion of flavor. The smoothie was sweet, rich, very flavorful, and very well blended - not a single ice chunk was left. I think the owner himself made my smoothie. He stood out as the only older adult amongst the staff of young college kids working there. He was polite, and I saw his exceptional customer service for myself when a customer mentioned her bubble tea was too sweet and he took the liberty to satisfy the customer by making her a new one. This place was bumpin'. We got here at 3pm and it was swarming with college kids. It's a popular spot for college students given the close proximity to NC State campus. All the tables and chairs inside were all moved against the walls and not utilized to make the necessary space for proper social distancing. Menu was clear and consise and they had a picture guide of their top ten drinks which is helpful for first time goers. Overall, a very positive experience. Mark my words Bumble Tea I shall be back for more! read more

Amazing boba and drinks with a huge menu! The staff is always amazing and the lines always move fast. I usually get either the fruit tea or fruit smoothies with popping boba, and we haven't had one that we didn't like. Love the taiyaki with Boston creme or Nutella and the sundae is good too. I was leaving Raleigh and decided I wanted to get a bubble tea for the road trip back home and I am SO HAPPY that I stopped here. If I lived in the area, I would be coming here way too much so I guess it's a good thing I'm a little farther away. I love that it had bubble tea and bubble waffles! So cute, I could not drive and eat a bubble waffle so I had to pass on it. I asked the girl what her favorite/what's popular because there is too much to choose from. I went with her recommendation of the Thai Milk tea and tapioca boba. Wow, am I happy with that. I love that they have non-dairy milk options for us that don't like dairy. The boba is much smaller than others that I've had which made it pretty funny when I went to take a big sip and had a mouthful of it. It's so good. A place I will go back when I'm in the area again! read more
I have been wanting to try this place for a while, my daughter loved the Mango Smoothie with boba, i had ordered a milk tea drink but it was just okay, i might try something else next time. The Mango smoothie was really too good, i would definitely go for that again, my daughter enjoyed clicking pictures near the pretty wall with a backdrop and her mango smoothie with bobas. So happy we found Bumble Tea! As two people who love drinking boba tea, we are thrilled to have found this gem. Located in the Avent Ferry shopping center, this spot is perfect for Raleigh residents and NC State students. My only regret is graduating from NC State in 2017 versus going to school now because I would be coming here all the time!! The staff is super friendly and great with processing orders. While we were there people were in and out in a timely manner. When you first come in you will see the menu on the wall. There's a couple of options to choose from. The picture menu displays the top ten teas and on the right hand side you get to see the rest of the menu on the chalkboard wall. In addition to a large variety of teas there are waffles, smoothies, Dalgona coffee, ice cream options, macarons and taiyaki (street food filled pastry with sweet & savory fillings. You can even get a lightbulb drink cup vs a standard cup. If you visit, we definitely recommend trying the red bean/cream cheese taiyaki because it was absolutely amazing and we could easily eat a dozen! Our pictures include 4 táiyaki (red bean, red bean/cream cheese, Nutella, and Boston creme, Dalgona coffee, bumble fruit tea (refreshing!), and dirty milk boba. All amazing!! Make sure to check out the wall towards the back of the shop because it is aesthetic and perfect for pictures! Needless to say, this place is super trendy and has it all! We ordered a dirty milk tea and coco-coffee, and I have to say it was pretty underwhelming. I wasn't to impressed with these drinks as they are simply average, but hope to return and try something else. The cashier was also talking way too fast and quiet that we had to ask "what?" over and over and she still did not slow down and speak up. We were the only customers aside from another couple at the time. The theme and decor is very cute, though! read more

Perfect place: you're near Lake Johnson- so stop here to refresh, you're near school- stop here to relax, caffeinated, or celebrate, or you just really want some good bubble tea. The sweetness options are a lifesaver for those with sugar intolerances and the staff are great with recommendations for what you may enjoy. I tried a 0% sweetness, Jasmine Tea (cold) and we got The Hulk so if apple is a favourite of yours try this uncommon (in this area) flavour. I also wish I'd had room to try the sweets on display, but I will definitely save those for next time! read more
3 stars for the bee-themed decor and super friendly service. I got the passionfruit tea (75% sugar) with boba and aloe jelly. They give a good amount of toppings, which is a plus. The boba was too hard and the tea was bland. Not sure if I would return here as there are much better options in the surrounding area. read more

Came here a few months ago with a group of friends. The staff was very nice and helped rearrange the chairs so that we could all sit together. I've NEVER seen Sugarcane Juice on the menu so I was really excited to try it. One of my all time favorites and it made my day knowing that this is usually a hard to come by drink. Also tried their Pandan waffle and deem it worthy of my taste buds. It was delicate, savory, with a hint of coconut. Safe to say I will definitely be coming back to try more of their menus read more

I had waited months and months to try this spot and finally made it. I had the bumble waffle and ice cream. I appreciate how frozen the ice cream was so I did not have to rush to eat. The waffle was still warm which was a nice touch. I would have liked a little bolder flavors which was my only drawback from this experience. Perhaps a bit of Mexican vanilla in the waffle batter or a more richly flavored ice cream would be perfect. read more

Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 Never in a 1,000 years could you get me to drive across town, sit in traffic, drive pass other drink stores just for some TEA! Bumble Tea is the BIZ! I've never tried Boba before so this was a stretch for me. The spot is located off of Avent Ferry in a shopping complex thats kinda easy to miss if you are driving by on Gorman or A.Ferry. They have ample parking out front and they have some cool outdoor seating as well (random right). Anways, the TEA... WOOWZERS... not what I was expecting. The hype is legit and worth the trip. I grabbed the Matcha Green Tea and had them add the Boba balls (not sure the technical name). When I stuck that super fat straw into my cup and begin to slurp, I got a mouth full of those boba balls and WOW... I was in heaven! The matcha was so yummy and the flavor of the boba was so accompanying. The staff were all super nice and ready to help me. I must give my first Boba Bumble Tea experience a slamming 5 stars. I'll be back again REAL soon! Especially since they have a rewards program. read more

On a hot fall day I decided I wanted a cool beverage and found this place on yelp! It's in a plaza and could be super easy to miss if you're coming from the main road using google maps. I passed the plaza and had to turn around at the gas station, the sign is super big so once you're in the plaza you're golden. There is shaded outside seating in the front of the restaurant and a beautiful window display. The interior is extremely beautiful, with modern decor and cute yet comfortable seating throughout. The menu is very self explanatory and they have many options to choose from. I got a waffle with vanilla ice cream topped with fruity pebbles and powered sugar, along with my favorite Taro boba milk tea... I got the rainbow popping boba which was new to me and quite a surprise once they started popping in my mouth. I usually get the basic black tapioca pearls but this year I've decided to always try something new with the old. I must say I'm not really a fan of the popping bubbles but I'm glad I tried them. I really enjoyed the customer service and the taste of my food as well as my drink and the cleanliness of the restaurant. In closing I will def be back to this place and I will bring friends next time. So happy I found Bumble Tea xo read more
YES TO BUMBLE TEA! I am such a boba fan, and bubble tea is a treat that I don't come across often in NC. Shout out to the Yelp app for helping me find this gem! I was craving some today, so I ventured out to Bumble Tea on Avent Ferry. I went around 1:45, and it was so crowded! It's a very lively atmosphere with families and friends at tables and booths. The walls are painted in cute/aesthetic ways, which are perfect for pics! The staff is SO nice and friendly, and the Taro with boba was absolutely fantastic. The tea wasn't too sweet, and there was plenty of boba at the bottom. I definitely want to try the waffles and ice cream next time. read more
Happy to report that Bumble Tea took what I said to heart and is now the boba shop to beat! The oolong milk tea we had today was brewed perfectly. Had a great oolong flavor that came through, and the sweetness level was ideal (without doctoring!). I also saw that the egg pudding topping is now more accurately labeled as "custard pudding" rather than the previous "caramel" pudding. The waffles still smelled awesome and a lot of customers looked super happy with their waffle sundaes! This is now my favorite place to grab milk tea. I love how I don't have to adjust sugar level, etc and it came out just right!!! Woohoo! read more

I haven't had an egg/bubble waffle ever since moving to the NC area over 4 years ago, so when I saw this yelp suggestion we ventured here the same day! The waffle was pretty good (although I wouldn't get powdered sugar on it again -- a bit too messy for me!), nice flavor not overly sweet: highly recommend! I would come back here for my egg waffle fix alone actually. The tea though, not really a big fan. Just like Milk Lab, Bumble Tea seems to go heavy on the milk and light on the tea flavor. I prefer Kung Fu or even Grand Asia black milk tea (actually, at Kung Fu I started just getting the black tea, but I do like their tea flavor there the best!). The boba here seemed fine (not over or under done), but I do wish there were more non-caff options in a non-smoothie option. The decor and concept here are VERY cute -- love all the bee stuff! My kiddo was really intrigued by it all too (and she highly approves of the ice cream). The time we stopped in, the staff seemed a little confused about the items (but it was close to when it first opened up and the AC wasn't even working yet - I hope it's up and going now!); most likely they're all pros by now. It'll be a tough sell to get the fam to come out here just for the waffle for me, but maybe I'll get my fix for a dessert after visiting one of the other nearby restaurants. read more

I already had a favorite bubble tea place that is also close to home so when someone told me this place was better, I was skeptical. My first visit I got the Thai tea with jelly and I wasn't that impressed. I think it was because I did not want to like it but I went back for a couple of times after that and I definitely can see why this is such a hot spot! The last couple times I've been I have decreased the sweetness and I love that you're able to customize. I also love the name and it has now become one of my go to bubble tea places when I'm in the area. My only complaint is I wish some of these places came with 1 topping included! It does get pricey when I'm a huge topping person. Highly recommend if you're new to the bubble tea scene read more
First time to Bubble Tea and while the experience wasn't necessarily bad, it was great either. As soon as I walk in with my guest, we immediately felt heat smack us in the face...it had to be over 90 degrees in there with a couple small floor fans blasting away. Not sure if the a/c was broken or they didn't have it turned on. I looked past this... I ordered the Mango Smoothie....sigh. It was unbelievably sweet, like to the point I couldn't finish it. At $5.25, I literally threw away half of it. My friends ordered the waffle ice cream and they all appeared happy with their selections, although we waited over 20 minutes, when no one else was in there - not entirely sure why it took so long to cool the waffles. I'll probably give them another shot, but will stay clear from the Mango Smoothie and try something else instead. read more

This place being 5 mins from my house is a blessing. I have went to this place I believe 4 times now, always tried something different just to have different options and every combination I have made has been great. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any and every question you have. You can mix and match and make combinations beyond what's on the menu. It's amazing I can't wait until they have their waffles up and going so I can try that as well. This is also a nice hang out spot having games like uno, Jenna and sorry at your disposal. I love coming here and talking to the workers and even shocking the workers when making combinations. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place, very easy to pass if you're not looking for it. I will be back of course and I will try more and more things from this menu. If they can or if it's possible it'll be an even better place if they were to sell crepes. There tayoiki is really good I had the red bean paste one which is good it's just not as many flavors you can get as if you had a crepe. But overall there's no possible way you can come to this place and 1. Not leave with a delicious boba combination and 2. Not leave with a smile on your face once you sip your drink. read more
