I have tried other pest control services in the past without much satisfaction. A friend has had Bulwark for a while and has always spoken very highly of the quality and service. I finally signed up about a week ago and had my "start up" service performed today. The technician, Adam T., arrived around 2:45pm (appointment time was between 2 and 4 pm). He was very polite and articulated very well the service he was there to provide. I noticed that he put shoe covers on as soon as he crossed my threshold, which I thought was extremely considerate. He then proceeded to work quickly and thoroughly, starting upstairs and then downstairs. I had a few areas of concern which I voiced to Adam and he gladly addressed them (downstairs bathroom was baited and couch was sprayed, we don't like spiders so anywhere they could hide I wanted treated). Adam then went to the outside where he treated the entire inside of the garage and perimeter of my home, both with a liquid and granular application. After finishing up the other final details outside Adam came back to the door and presented me with my paperwork. Throughout the entire process he was courteous, professional and polite. My first experience with Bulwark was everything I had heard it would be, easy, smooth, thorough, and an overall pleasant experience. The chemicals used were explained clearly. The attention to details, that's what made this such a great experience. About three weeks ago, I had the unpleasant task of writing a negative review of Bulwark Pest Control. I hated to do it after nine years but I felt they needed to know. I am delighted to report that they took note and called me. I spoke at length with management (Brittany) about the situation and, to their credit, they listened with concern over my fruit fly infestation. Who knew that the issue that would "break the camel's back" would be teeny tiny persistent fruit flies. Neither Brittany nor I realized that she was the one I started my service with years ago, but we put two and two together and said, "Wait a minute!" I had signed up with Bulwark because of Brittany's helpfulness. When I say she listened to me, SHE LISTENED TO ME! I told her a few ideas in training new people to avoid what happened to me. She is no longer in the field, treating bugs, but now she is in management. She had technician Sam come out and retreat. He sprayed the drain and around my windows and door. I just got a call checking in on me and was happy to report I am now free of fruit flies! Businesses will sometimes make mistakes because we are all human. It's how they handle their missteps. I didn't have to argue. I didn't hear any defense, just a straight up heartfelt apology and determination to fix the situation. Hand down the best pest control in my Sugar Hill area. My family and I have been a customer for just over a year. This is the 2nd home we've had built and we've gone through a few companies in 10 years. The first year in the newer home with the builder's pest control was horrible. So after seeing Bulwark reviews (All positive), we went under contract with them and life 99.9% pest free has been great! (I've seen a mere 3 small black ants indoors since service and nothing more). Jameson is our pest control and Guy and he is such a wonderful guy. He's very professional, easy to talk to, and he always maintains his schedule. It's so nice not to have to worry about giving them a call or following up. But if you ever need to call for a concern it's a breeze. They are there within a day or 2 max. I Love their work so much that they have a lifelong customer with my family and I. P.S. If you are in the Primrose Creek community and looking for great service after the 1-year builder contract with Pestban fails you, look no further then these guys and never look back. What I like most about their company is their customer service and dedication to ensuring that we have no past no matter what it takes and how many visits they have to make to get the service done correctly. They communicate with me very well. I received text messages and phone calls to follow up on the work performed and to proactively see if all issues are being handled satisfactorily. I would like to personally thank technician Kevin for making the extra effort of coming back to the house upon my request. I wasn't home at my scheduled appointment time and he saw me coming back to the house and went back to ensure that the service was performed. He provided a few recommendations to close up points of Pest entry. Kevin said that he would follow up to ensure that the issues were resolved. Highly recommend Bulwark Exterminating and our technician, Maurice. First, about the company. Bulwark Exterminating guarantees their work. I mean GUARANTEES. If they service your location and you still see pest within days, THEY will keep coming til the PEST DON'T. They service every other month and will text you days before they plan to come as friendly reminder and an opportunity to reschedule. Now about Maurice. VERY accommodating. Don't know why it is, we have plenty of parking space at our house and contractors and service people almost always park smack in the middle of the driveway hindering my coming and going. But Maurice saw me coming up the drive and quickly parked his vehicle so I could maneuver in and out of garage and drive. He put shoe covers on. He sprayed EVERYTHING! and asked specifically about any pest issues we might be having so he could make sure it was addressed. I use Bulwark at my personal residence AND I pay to use them at my rental properties. Best choice yet. read more

This is by far the best pest control company in the area! My husband and I bought a fixer upper and had no idea what we were getting into. The house was completely infested and after trying a few other companies we did some research and found Bulwark. Jason was our technician for nearly a year and did and incredible job! We were on the verge of selling if the problem wasn't fixed quickly. He was so thorough he found where the problem was and helped us have a bug free home. We are so grateful! I began seeing one or two and called immediately. They sent out Isaiah. We started our service today with Bulwark, so this review is more on the relative experience of starting a service with Bulwark. Set up was simple, They responded to my request with an email with the current offers. I requested for service person to come in on Saturday (today). It was very easy set up. James Nelms called at 9:15 and reached on time for the service. James walked us through all the services that will be covered in the plan and did the initial set up for the house and backyard. He is such a lovely person to speak with, knowledgeable and courteous. I did ask many questions and he patiently explained. This was the best experience we have had. He did a thorough service took enough time to ensure that everything is covered. Also booked a follow up in 3 weeks. I got a call from Bulwark and an email when he left. We've been with Bulwark since moving to Georgia and have always good a experience with the techs and the office. They are conscientious, knowledgeable, and good-natured. The latter quality being underrated in the service industry. For example, on the last treatment our tech, Brittany, pointed out that some water damage on the baseboards adjacent to the garage doors could be a magnet for certain types of insects and laid a trap see if it was a problem area. In the couple of times we've needed a mid-cycle treatment Bulwark had someone out within the next day (including weekends!). When we first started Jameson was our tech and now he's the owner of our local franchise. So I can say that from top to bottom it has been our experience that Bulwark is run by good people who provide a great service at a reasonable price. Nicholas notified me prior to his arrival which truly sets the standard for customer notification. While at my residence he was very thorough in ensuring all areas were treated with an insecticide. We moved into our new home in a new subdivision a few months ago. The builder has another company as their preferred exterminator, so we tried them out. We were previously with Bulwark. On average, we had more bugs in the house daily than in a year with Bulwark. So we canceled with the other company and returned to Bulwark. They just left a few hours ago and we already see the benefit. Chandler provided great service for us. He was thorough and professional. He handed us the info on submitting a review and thanked us for using Bulwark. We've had service providers hand us the information to give a review with the instructions to give them the highest mark possible, and this was before they even provided the service. I switched from Orkin to Bulwark and have been very satisfied with the service. I called for a retreatment and received a prompt dispatch to addreas my new concerns. The technician - Maurice Burk did an OUTSTANDING job in assessing my situation. He gave detailed explanations of what he was applying and why, what to expect in the near term.and augfested preventive measures that could be easily implemented. Although I was not at home and was on the phone, my wife felt very much at ease allowimg him access to our home. His personality was very welcoming, he was ontime, professional yet very personable. Shortly after moving into our new home in 2013, a sales rep from Bulwark knocked on my door and asked if they could be our bug service. We already had one who had done a fine job with our previous house and we were going to use them. However, the Bulwark rep said they would do it for less money AND COME BY EVERY 2 MONTHS instead of the every 3 months our present service was doing. That latter promise got my attention and I decided to give them a try. I'm very glad that I did. We live on a lake. But, because of Bulwark, we rarely ever see a spider or bug in our home! James has been the guy who serviced us most of the 7 years we have used Bulwark. He's friendly, very helpful, and does a fantastic job! Their customer service is tops, too. My husband I recently moved to a new subdivision in Maysville, signed up with a well-known company for pest control because our longtime favorite, Bulwark (with David Dolphin) who we had been with for over 10 years, did not service our new area. New company did initial treatment, and returned a few weeks later when we called to say we were still seeing spiders. Two weeks after that 2nd treatment, in just 48 hours, we killed more than 12 spiders + 2 centipedes! ENOUGH! Called Bulwark to see if they would please service us again, and WOOHOO! We were now within their service area. Technician Chandler arrived 2 days later, gave us a great first treatment, leaving us relieved and very satisfied. Well we did love this company until they started half-assing the work. We had spiderwebs everywhere at our entryway and back patio when the had supposedly just treated the house. Then we had a billing issue. We use them for termite service as well, have auto pay set up for both services. They had an issue with our card and we thought we had updated it but apparently they only updated the info on the termite account and never updated the pest control one. Just a bad experience all around. The guy that installed our termite traps did the worst job, he didn't get them flush with the ground and our lawn guy ran over one the next time he came and they want us to pay $20 for their employees crappy job. Make a hard pass on these guys. read more

Bulwark is fantastic! Jameson is wonderful, prompt, thorough, explains everything very well and is so sweet to my boys when he comes. My 2 year old just loves the "bug man"! I love that their indoor treatments are kid and pet friendly. We've had Bulwark come out a few extra times since we live in a new community and bugs are being run out of their territory constantly. Each time has been great and bugs significantly decreased! I recommend Bulwark to everyone and will continue to use them!!
