Alex tried on three different suits and the staff helped us make our final decision on the one that we wanted. The father/son duo is quite knowledgeable and creates an atmosphere of comfort for asking questions and trying out new looks. After the son helped us find the perfect suit, the father took the measurements and tailored the suit to fit Alex wonderfully. Once we went back to try on the final product, we continued to have a fabulous experience picking out a matching shirt, tie, pocket square, belt, and shoes! I rented my wedding tux with tails from Millers and Randy was most helpful in getting the fit just right. Most recently, I treated myself to a "tailor made" sports jacket, the first one I ever had. I was able to pick the material, pattern, color, rear vent style, lapel cut, complimentary lining, and even the buttons, down to the color and numbers. As an added touch, a label with my name was sewn into the lining. What a fine jacket. And what great service. It fit perfectly on the first fitting. Because it was a gray with burgandy window pane, I left it up to Randy to find matching burgandy pants. He did it. Those pants are the exact match I needed.

Her quilting is beautiful. No pics of the projects were allowed as reasonably they are for sell. This is to prevent some unscrupulous people who would snap a pic and try to copy her patterns. Kits are for sale as well as yardage and any other supplies. My friend and I purchased kits for a beautiful panel quilt as well as a baby quilt. We spent some bucks but the quality was well worth it. The owner was especially friendly and accommodating. It was very busy but she helped my friend find exactly the items and fabrics she needed and took time to talk to us. During a quilt hop, the shops get extremely busy and crowded. One sometimes feels rushed, but not here. The staff people and owner were great.

I took it to another, closer, authorized service dealer who determined that it needed an upgrade to the software and they did that upgrade. They did not put it on a frame or quilt with it to test it. When I got it home, it was OK, but I had a lot of trouble with tension. I finally got that working pretty good until 2 years later when a very mysterious thing started happening - it was acting like there was thread stuck in it. So - back it went. Long story short - 3 boards and 6 weeks later I got it back. It now had a very loud whining noise, absolutely terrible tension, and nearly vibrated out of my hands when I tried to use it. I was NOT going back there again. I searched the HQ website and found that Quilt Peddler had won awards for their service so decided to try there. Lugene (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) is a miracle worker! Every issue is gone and my Avante now works even better than when I first bought it. She also took the time to educate me on how components of the system worked and other things I should have been doing all along regarding power supply and maintenance. learned so much in the one day she spent with me! Even though it is a 5 hour drive (one way) for me - I will be going there for any additional service needs from now on. DO NOT bother with anywhere else! I was able to get my bag of goodies but the line to cut fabric was long. I grabbed some precuts and purchased a special ruler. Quilters love their rulers. The sales staff were very helpful. I wish I had more time to really look but it was just too crowded. I will return and probably change my review to 4-5 stars because the store had a big selection and the sales ladies tried their best to keep up with the crush of people. The store is easily found in a nice shopping center. Parking on a regular day would be available.

Horrible customer service! We sent an email on February 15, and called on February 16 to follow…read moreup. We were told email had not been read so we placed order on the phone. There were dogs barking in background when we called, and we had to repeat everything we said. We were told we would get an email confirming what we ordered. Since we didn't receive an email, I called on February 21 to confirm order. I was told that email had been sent, but we never received it; however, we did receive an email with invoice on February 21. Order was received on February 24 and looked great!! The cost of plaque was $28.57 and with processing fee (which we were not told about) and additional engraving, the total was $31.36. All this was reasonable, but then we saw the shipping. Shipping was also $31.36; what a coincidence. I called today after leaving a message for someone to call which they didn't. I spoke with a not so customer friendly man. He explained that the amount was what UPS charged. I told him that I had looked online, and amount was not that much; he got defensive and said the shipping amount came from computer. I stated it was very strange that shipping was same as total of order, and he said rudely, "Ma'am, there's nothing I can do to help you." We have used UPS many times, and there is no way I will believe they charged $31.36 to ship a plaque. We did not ask for overnight and 2-day shipping; we told them at time of order, we needed it by March 1. From now on, we will play a little more for the product and support local companies.
