Elevate delivers on that. Johnstown's downtown area is attempting to make a comeback. A very slow, well thought out comeback. Elevate just happens to be one of those well thought out steps taken for the area. It has not only filled a void in the downtown market with offering clothing and items that you would have to travel out of that area for, but they have also filled the void of a long abandoned storefront. And downtown Johnstown has an abundance of abandoned storefronts. We had somehow stumbled upon Elevate through Etsy before realizing that they have a physical store. To find that this company was Johnstown based thrilled me. My sister convinced me that I should take the time to go with her and see what is up with this place. I loved how they used all the space this had to offer. They utilized every little ounce of window space to let you know exactly the mix of items they sale within. The inside is a mis of new and old. You can use that in two ways. New items with a mix of old in a consignment shop type of way. And old brands of the area on items to buy. I was completely enthralled with the t-shirts as I always am and went directly to that rack. They went straight for the old reliables for the area. Glosser Brothers, Skateland, and what I went with, Richland Mall. I absolutely love the shirt and am so happy I have it in my collection. They have a lot to choose from. You will need time to look this place over, which will give you a good reason to be down in the downtown area. Take your time to look over consignment area. Really reasonable prices and they have rack of nothing but children's clothing all for $5 or less (kids rack only). The owners of the store are amazing. They let us know how they came to own the spot and even shown us a picture of the store that they were given long before they took over the spot. Most of the shoes in here you can find elsewhere and most times at a cheaper price. It's rather large, but I think that is a downside for this particular store. There is too much inventory. There is a small section in the back that is for clearance inventory, but it is rather sparse at times. They also have other items on hand for purchase. Socks, shoelaces and other shoe-centric items. But they also carry watches, jewelry and candy as well. Located on the lower level of the Galleria mall in Johnstown, which is a slowly dying mall.

Her shop is so quaint and cozy. It isn't huge but that is what makes the experiance so special. I was the last appointment of the day, so it was just myself, parents, and Shannon. She spent time pulling dresses before I arrived based on what I sent her in an email. While trying on the dresses she listened to everything I liked and didn't like about each dress and ended up selecting the "one" based on that. It was the final dress I tried on and I knew it was it. She showed different ways I could change it by adding straps, ect, but the dress was perfect as is! She has alterations in house as well and my alteration appointment was also great.
