There is ample parking behind the building and people seem to use the lot across the street as an overflow lot. Guess it's an appropriate use of a lot that doesn't have a use anymore. Everything inside seems to have a proper place for it until it is bought. There are tons of items to look through so either make sure you know what you are looking for or give yourself some time to look through everything. Make sure you also keep track of your kids if you bring them. They do have a toy section, but they also ask that you don't leave your children unattended in this area as it is not an area where they should go and play. It can be rather noisy in here as it is a busy place. I felt a little uneasy as there is a loft like area above that people that work here seem to have conversations. You end up unintentionally eavesdropping. But I would suppose they are used to that.

During my visit I witnessed a customer gently tell a young male employee that things were priced much too high. The customer asked how they come up with thier prices. The employee said "Ebay, but we can't Ebay everything or we'd be here all day." That is a direct quote. Apparently, running a thrift store is a genius way to be a reseller with 100 percent profits since items are donated. Also overheard a LOUD customer making a deal with the manager of the store to sell a painting on Ebay wherein she exclaimed "take a percentage and give me the rest." As for the goods, it's really a mix of things that should have gone in the dumpster at premium prices and mediocre goods also at premium prices. I picked up a bag and was immediately overcome by the smell of cat urine -- item priced at $8. Found a pair of elastic waistbanded shorts for $6. Upon removing the shorts from the hanger, I discovered the elastic was completely shot. It was completely stretched to the limit with no rebounding ability. Two examples of items that should have been disposed of immediately. They keep many items locked in display cases with price tags on many flipped upside down or out of sight. I'm not sure how this is condusive to doing business. Is this a thrift store or a Manhattan boutique? God forbid you ask someone to "show" you something. The employees take rudeness to unprecidented levels, especially the dark-haired old lady. And as if all this wasn't enough, the floors throughout are a serious trip-and-fall hazard. They are warped and dangerous if you are not familiar with the terrain. Yes, there are hills and valleys throughout the flooring that you cannot see. There is no signage indicating to watch your step, but this is understandable. Researching the asking price of donated items on Ebay is probably quite a time consuming process. No time to make a sign for customer safety. Remember God is watching you, ladies. Taking in free donations and pricing them Ebay style is definitely NOT Christian behavior. Many things in your store can actually be gotten cheaper in a big box store. I don't know God personally, but I am pretty sure he would frown upon your obvious greed.

Once the…read moreGalleria opened up and a majority of the stores vacated for the new and shiny, Richland Mall was doomed. After the mall shuttered, it sat there for a bit before everything on the property had left. Once tore down, the shopping center sprung up. Home to national chain big box stores, it brought business back to this area. Some stores have been retained since the beginning. Others have either went bankrupt and closed or just switched up their names a bit, or downsized their store footprint. Doesn't matter either way, this center, or plaza, has remained busy. What is funny now, the stores that had vacated for the Gallery have started to come back to the old Richland Mall land. Several of the mall stores have now vacated the Galleria for their full circle moment return to this parcel. This place can be busy and you will need to keep your wits about you when you are trying to make your way from store to store. Think strip mall on steroids. Multiple entrances and exits. They seem to be in the midst of revamping some area and possibly adding my store in the surrounding area.

Since I have to shop this was so cleverly designed and eye appealing…read more It is a huge square of individual shops, bakeries, eateries, salons, clothing and shoe stores, a pet store, craft stores, plus a 24 hour super Walmart! Parking right in front of each store is a breeze and I love in and out shopping when the need calls for it. I also love the fact that a Five Guys Burger and Fries is amongst this collection of shops. The centre caters to the needs of the local Johnstown folks with stores like Ross, Payless, Bed Bath and Beyond, Famous Footware, TJ Maxx, the Dress Barn, Petco, Dollar Tree ( still have no clue how they make money), Michael's, Fashion Bug and so much more. The Galleria put the Richland Mall out of business and now the Richland Town Centre is just taking some back. One back road will lead you to and from both the mall and the centre, which makes for a sweet shopping and dining out day.

We stopped by one morning and had an extremely positive experience. We learned about different fabrics, cuts, and origins of suits which helped us make our decision about the designer that we wanted. Alex tried on three different suits and the staff helped us make our final decision on the one that we wanted. The father/son duo is quite knowledgeable and creates an atmosphere of comfort for asking questions and trying out new looks. After the son helped us find the perfect suit, the father took the measurements and tailored the suit to fit Alex wonderfully. Once we went back to try on the final product, we continued to have a fabulous experience picking out a matching shirt, tie, pocket square, belt, and shoes! The Miller family thanked Alex for his service with a military discount and offers lifelong alterations on their products. I can't speak much to what other reviewers are saying about this place as I only had a short interaction with this establishment. I was greeted when I entered and that was the jest of my interactions with the employees. I was just out browsing thrift shops for nothing in particular. If you are a guy, you can almost skip this place. What is offered is mostly women's clothing. The men's section is maybe one rack and a corner wall of items aimed at men. Not sure why they even have it. They should just make this a women's consignment shop and have that be that. It is suffice to say that I did not purchase anything in here as there wasn't much product to hold my interest.

The few times I've asked an employee for something, someone helped me efficiently; this last time, the worker was already very busy, but she still got me into a fitting room in short order. I'm not there to be social, so this suits me fine. Invariably, I find some kind of not-to-be-believed deal. This last time, I got three absolutely gorgeous sweaters -- one was new with the tags still on it -- for twenty bucks. The last time, I got a Coach purse, also brand new, for $70, one that easily would have retailed for well over $200 at the Coach outlet by my house.The place is amazing. I'm going back up one more time before I leave tomorrow, and I know I'll find that "one more thing" I didn't know I couldn't live without.
