These specialty stores are a rare find especially in high real estate areas like NYC where I live. The high quality yarns at Kathy's are expensive, but the bargain table of end yarns is a delightful way to explore new materials before committing to bigger projects. The store also offers courses and programs which is a great way to socialize and connect with the community through a common interest in fiber arts. I will frequent this store in my travels through Western, PA and encourage others to check out the rich history and quaint stores in Ligonier.

He hurt his wrist that day but didn't think it was too bad. When we returned the board he was convinced he wanted to be snowboarder now and he rented the board through their bring back program for the rest of the season. Well, his wrist continued to hurt and we got X-rays. His wrist was broken and he could not snowboard the rest of the season. We called Thrifty and spoke to Ellen the owner. She understood our situation and refunded the additional money he paid for the season. Since he was spending his own money, that meant a lot to him and to me. I can highly recommend Thrifty.

My family has been singing the praises of this place since it has opened. Which was recently. My…read moreDad usually gives me a call to let me know his shopping haul for the day. When this place started to pop up in his conversation I had to ask what it was. The best way I can describe this to you is the following: think Amish store, consignment shop, thrift store. You can't necessarily put this place in any given category because it is not completely one particular business. The items they have on their shelves you can tell come from other stores, especially by the branding. There are some really good deals to be found here, or maybe just find a new item you have never seen or heard of before. It is best to come here when you have time to spare because this is not a spot to dash in and grab something. What I found great was that this is taking up two storefronts in this plaza that were formerly empty. I want to say that one of the spaces used to be the post office. It is a welcomed addition to this plaza as they are kind of going under a revitalization of sorts. Other businesses are moving in as well. The consignment portion is pretty mixed. You really need to have time to go through what is offered. But overall, the store has food items, cleaning supplies, toys, small appliances, outdoor furniture, outdoor items, and so much more. Cash is encouraged here, but they do take cards with a surcharge. You will be surprised by the final price once you do pay.

The piping is crooked in several areas, missing padding and lumps on the arm rests, different heights on the back cushions etc. Called about the issue they said they would come out and fix it but if there is that much wrong with the furniture that is visible I can only imagine that there are issues with the frame that we cannot see. Laser will not refund the $7500 for the furniture because they said it is custom. I can't even get Bassett to call me back! I would not shop at lasers or buy Bassett furniture!
