Especially in this area, and maybe even this plaza. This location literally opened up next door to a competitor. In a plaza that has seen a lot of change over the years. I will say this, being next door to a competitor they had the better selection. Not sure whether it was because they recently opened or they just have better selection. Went through the store and browsed a bit. I wasn't in here for anything in particular so I made my way slowly through the aisles. They had items that I wanted, but didn't really need at that time. If I was heading home I would have considered, but I was on my way to a long road trip. The flow of the store was just quicker, everything ran smoothly. I was able I make my way back up front to head out. I will be honest, I did not purchase anything here, but if I am in the area again, I will stop by.

I reported her at an event. I was attending with one of my close friends when she proceeded to curse at me and my friend when I was questioning her return policy. My friend then asked her did you just cuss at us and she said no, and repeated herself cussing again. This woman is extremely rude. I told her I was going to be reporting her to the business every she was attending and she told me go ahead in a dismissive way. When we were leaving, she proceeded to talk to other customers about us and this situation. This woman should not be in business and after reading several other reviews, I see people have had the same experience. It's unfortunate people have to encounter this kind behavior from a business owner who clearly lacks customer service.

It has been a while since I have bought something for work, and let's face it, not everyone works a job that requires fancy clothes. I had been out all day and been looking for thrift stores to hit up. The only one that I had been to in this area is a Goodwill, that is until I found this one. Fun thing about this spot is that it is housed in what used to be a Howard Johnson check in building. Still has the shape and all. It is a small shop, but it serves the purpose. Every piece in this shop appears to be handpicked. That was the one nice thing, even though I wasn't looking for something over the top, I found nice pieces that fit my need. Like many places, the men's section is rather sparse. Guess that just means that guys don't want to give up their clothes as much as women. That is basically the only reason I can't give this place five stars. I browsed the racks and found a few things that fit what I needed. For three pieces, I paid what I would have for one item new at any store around. I will definitely be back here, if only to browse. But I hope that if I do I will be able to find more steals.

However next to that piece on the rack is a piece of mall-store godawfulness that is more expensive than an ACTUAL DESIGNER ITEM. Also, the attitude shown toward browsing (even though I eventually made a significant purchase) was curt, bordering rude. Seriously? This is Ebensburg, not Brooklyn, not even Pittsburgh. I'm not trying to use my Black Card to snag a personal shopper on Christmas Eve at Saks. The prices are well above what I can find at Nordstrom or even Saks for the items being sold. He has occassional sales where he'll mark a rack down of clothing so that it is affordable. At one point he was using the store across the street as an outlet. If you can sell a $600 coat for $17.00 then that shows how over inflated his pricing is. I did dive in and purchase a few items when deeply marked down. Luckily I didn't pay full price or even close to it. The stiching began falling apart after one wash and the coat, which I didn't even wash, already has a broken belt loop.
