The space is basically a storefront with several areas where parties can throw axes at big bullseyes painted on a big wooden wall. Kind of no frills, with a few sofas so you can wait your turn and a few props for photos or wearing while you throw the axe. Turns out I am pretty good at throwing an axe, but I think that is in part to my competitive nature and that I need to be always zombie apocalypse ready. Now I know I can hit a target and have a retrievable weapon. It was ok, but definitely not something I would do again. Two hours was an hour too long for me for this event.

For the remainder of our 90 minutes we were left alone. Coach even broke one of his top rules by walking behind an active thrower at the line. Now, I should tell you that I had a great time and would do it again. I was the only inexperienced thrower in our group and received a bunch of suggestions from them. The Old Fashion wasn't anything special, just your typical old fashioned. On to axe throwing, the space where you axe throw was well lit, and we appreciated the guy who worked there, coming by to show us how to axe throw since it was our first time! There are chalkboards to keep track of your score. Just remember that the drinks can't be kept in the area where you axe throw, which I wish was better communicated to us. Overall, the Groupon was a great deal. We had some issues scheduling a time, so I had to email a contact there to have a time reserved. We were pretty surprised to see how few people were there on a Friday night, so it was pretty easy to play the different games scattered in the main room.
