Had such a great time at Bulla in Aventura. I had only ever been to the one in Coral Gables, but that was years ago. We went during happy hour which they have daily from 4-7PM. We got a bunch of drinks and food items as well and for three people we left satisfied paying around $130 which is a great deal these days. The service was phenomenal and the space is very open and inviting with a lot of natural light. I would definitely be back at Bulla if I'm ever in the neighborhood again.

Very Spanish. From food, waiter and customers when we there. Just hit the spot for us. Description as Gaston's seems strange. We chose to mix Sunday brunch bottomless sangria and Mimosa with Tapas menu. All choices good and well presented. Perhaps a little salty for my taste. Nothing stood out but everything was better than acceptable. Serrano ham croquettes were plenty and good. Probably the best was the steak Pintxo. This is a small skewer of flash fried steak basque style. We finished off with really good flan that was not on the menu but was offered. The place itself like so many now clean, open and Miami-ish. Good prices and we left satisfied.

I seriously lucked out with an invite from a dear friend who won a paella-making class at Bulla Gastrobar, which honestly might be one of their best-kept highlights outside of their already buzzing bar menu and happy hour energy. We showed up about an hour early, and I eased in with a Spanish Old Fashioned. If I have to admit we didn't realize that it wasn't even necessary, because once that class started, it became this well curated experience with bites and drinks for the evening. At the bar we shared croquetas de jamón that came with this yummy fig jelly that elevated these delicious balls, gambas al ajillo which is grilled shrimp loaded with garlic, brandy and just the right kick, truffle fries topped with manchego, and grilled steak montaditos. Everything. On. Point. No notes. And the bar staff brought the kind of energy and service that made it an extra pleasurable HH. Now the paella class itself... that deserves its own headline. But let's just say, between learning, laughing, and lots of sipping, it's a fabulous date night or group event to consider. Aside from all the pre noshing we made three different sangrias, all hits, but the white wine version with peach schnapps, triple sec, strawberries and blueberries made it my favorite. And that paella recipe is now in my back pocket. Great staff, very bold flavors, and an experience that actually lives up to the hype. I'll absolutely be back.

Everytime we are in the Aventura area, we have to stop here for Happy hour. They have special prices and half off wine bottles. Bar area is super nice and the bartenders are so nice. We didn't try the sangria this time but it's recommended to try. We ordered a bottle of wine and some tapas. The chicken and pork skewers are so good and juicy. You gotta try the croquettes and pan con tomate. Everything is delicious but it all depends on how much space or hungry you are. My wife like always finished with her favorite drink called carajillo. It's espresso with liquor 43. Check out the pics I posted but it's our go to place when we want Spanish food to remember Barcelona.

I've been to other Bulla locations and I'm happy to have one in the Aventura area. I like the half open area and the design inside. I also like the happy hour before 7 which I am definitely coming back for. The only reason I'm knocking down one point was for the tuna tartare. I think it was very sweet and didn't need so much sugar as it was hard to feel any flavor besides sugar. Overall, good place and I'm more than open to changing my review to 5 star in the future when I come back!

What a great happy hour! The menu has such great selections & the cocktails are so worth it. Their Gambas al Ajillo (a twist on the American Shrimp Scampi but it's own stand alone recipe) were delicious. Huge sized, very clean shrimp. Perfectly cooked & not chewy. Thick chunks of garlic compliments the entire dish. The Steak Montaditos had tender slices of a skirt style steak & chimichurri on top of crusty baguette style bread. The Croquetas de Jamon w/Fig Jam was also delish! So very creamy while the fig jam gives it a nice sweet taste. Truffle fries topped w/shaved manchego cheese has elevated the sides game forever! Paired w/the Proper Gin & Tonic & their take on an Old Fashion this HH did not even total $40 per person! Thank Bulla for brining another amazing option for HH in the area! It was sooo needed. And parking is a breeze.

I love the tapas style food options at Bulla. It is such a fun spot and absolutely worth visiting if you love tapas and a good brunch or dinner vibe. The white sangria was delicious, refreshing, and way too easy to drink. It was the perfect complement to a table full of appetizers. What I loved most is the variety. We were able to try so many different small plates, and everything made the experience feel lively and meant for sharing. Some of the standout appetizers were the Bistec à la parilla, Tequeños, Pulpo à la Parilla, Patatas Bravas, Ceviche de Jalapeño, Crispy Calamari, Montaditos, Pan con Tomate, and Croquetas de Jamón. For dessert we had the Flan de Coco with Passion Fruit Sorbet and it was TO DIE FOR. Between the great food, the delicious sangria, and the energetic atmosphere, this is definitely a place I would come back to.

Bulla now open in Aventura! We had reservations since it was Valentine's Day. We had the croquetas and cantimpalo with manchego for appetizers and the bulls burgers with patatas bravas for dinner. The burger was my favorite very juicy and flavorful as well as the potatoes. The manchego and chorizo were good but such a small portion. The croquetas are not typical croquettes but more cheesy fried balls. Service was great our server was always available keeping an eye on his table section. Checkout was easy and fast with table QR code. Nice new place

New location in Aventura and its quickly becoming a favorite! The bar is exquisite and offers plenty of seating which is great to take advantage of their happy hour. Bulla has some of the best happy hour specials offering tapas and drink specials at the bar. The staff here is amazing and very informative. We did sit at the bar for their happy hour and enjoyed some croquetas which are my absolute fav. And we also got some pan con tomate (off the happy hour menu) but it's a great compliment with drinks. But I must say the best bite of the night was the steak montaditos. The pimiento on top of the steak with the piquillo confit really is a burst of flavor. Highly recommend trying it! We ended the experience with torrijas which you can think of as fluffy french toast with a custardy interior, (Delish) and a carajillo which was perfectly executed. The ambiance is great and when the sun went down, they opened the windows which gave the space an amazing airy open feel. Overall great restaurant. Looking forward to returning for dinner.

    Happy Hour!

Such a great spot! They just opened a location in aventura and the staff is friendly! The food is delish and the ambiance is chill and easy going. I enjoyed the happy hour specials they got from 4-7pm. Try the pinchos de pollo!

*Best happy hour menu in Aventura *17 well thought HH wines BTG starting at only $6 per glass * 50% off wine bottles at 4-7 pm HH * 12 very good HH food selections * Fast service I don't usually go to happy hours since the food and wine selection doesn't usually do it for me. But I am impressed. If you like Castilian Spanish food and some good fusion dishes at super cheap prices in a brand new upscale location stop by.

Bulla is absolutely incredible. From the service to the food, you will always have a memorable time. Every location has its own unique style and vibe, but always so consistent with the amazing food. This time we tried the paella & prix fixed brunch menu, everything was delicious. Our server Rael was more than attentive and made sure to give my first time guests a great time.

The tapas were ridiculously expensive for what you got. $14.00 for bites size croquettes? The bright side was that the paste in the inside was very tasty. They brought us bread, but no olive oil to dip it in?? This is a travesty, how are you not being offered extra virgin olive oil with it in a Spanish restaurant?? Whatever! My husband wanted the pulpo, but was like, $20 for a pulpo tapas seems like too much. So I suggested he have the entree with a side for $26 to justify the price. He opted for that and had the sautéed vegetables. For some reason, they gave him the vegetables, octopus and mashed potatoes. He said the octopus was okay, but the best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. I asked for the salmon with vegetables, and I got a very crispy, overcooked and dry piece of fish. The vegetables, were super gross. The broccoli was overcooked and soggy, and they put these onions thinly sliced and peppers that were soggy oily and didn't taste like anything. I don't get what they were going for with the sautéed vegetables. It almost like they threw a bunch of left over veggies you use for your cooking base and added it the overcooked broccoli. Overall, I don't think we would go back.

I was in the shopping plaza at its neighbor the pharmacy to pick up last minute beach stuff when I saw Art Priori. With the name, I thought it was an art gallery but noticed the menu outside. Anastasia welcomed me and I sat at a very comfy banquette room while listening to chill downtempo edm to enjoy my lunch. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, I started with a refreshing glass of moscato. Its light sweetness was perfect to set the vibe for a beach afternoon. My appetizer was a serving of "Dates a Cheval". Art Priori amps up the classic bacon wrapped dates with a generous serving of goat cheese. The tanginess of this cheese is a delicious balance of the date's sweetness. Although it was a beach day, I was feeling fancy and not just looking for a burger (which they do have on the menu). Instead I enjoyed their Pozharsky cutlet. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes and chopped mix veggies, this is ground chicken breaded in cracker crust and flavored in a mushroom sauce. I enjoyed the original presentation and flavor. Topped with fresh berries and a light drizzle of honey, a yummy medovik (honey layer cake) closed off my very tasty lunch. This Eastern European classic is a must have!

The restaurant has a small outdoor area on a little veranda, and the indoor area that isn't very big either. The design of the place is simple but pretty. The menu offers a nice variety - from small tapas to large main dishes like paella. I decided to try two hot tapas: ham croquettes and octopus with boiled potatoes. The croquettes were good, but not super delicious. The octopus dish, however, tasted fantastic; I really enjoyed it! Price-wise, the place does seem a bit pricey. For 4 small pieces of Serrano ham croquettes I paid $13, and the octopus was $20. Tapas usually don't cost that much, even at many other restaurants around Miami that I've been to. And considering that the croquettes were just okay in quality, I definitely think they should lower the prices a bit. Another annoying thing about this place - the 18% tip is automatically included in the bill. I truly hate when restaurants in Miami do that! And honestly, in this case, I wouldn't have tipped my waitress that high. She wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. She gave me literally 2 minutes to choose my food (yes, I know I came late, but still...), took my order, brought it, and only came back once she noticed I had finished, just to ask if I was ready for the check. She didn't even ask how the food was. In my opinion, this wasn't 18% tip-worthy service. To sum up: I'm glad I tried this place. I might come back one day to try something else from the menu. I can recommend this restaurant, but be prepared - your final bill won't be cheap.
