Love The Bullpen. Friendly employees and amazing food! Always satisfied. Loved that they did curbside carryouts during covid.

I cannot rave about Zera enough! This has become my friends and I's Saturday morning spot and we…read moretalk about it constantly to anyone that will listen. There is literally nothing I have tried at Zera that I have not loved. My go to is the avocado bagel, sometimes switching to the pickle cream cheese on it & no exaggeration, I look forward to it all week. The baked goods are also insanely good. My recommendations are the cruffins, danishes, quiche, and cinnamon rolls. Alongside the food, having a coffee there is an absolute must. My usual is a 100 Acre Woods Latte with Oatmilk but I have to stray from that for seasonal drinks every now and then & this year, the Gingerbread General took the cake on my favorite holiday drink! On top of such great food and drinks, the staff is the downright kindest you'll ever meet and they work so insanely hard! Zera is truly the loveliest spot in Waterloo and I cannot recommend it enough! When you visit, take in the gorgeous details of the space and pop into the cozy vault with a friend! P.S. They just now started selling their granola in bags and it's a must buy! It's 100x better than any granola you can buy at the store!

It is VERY understandable that Blues City Deli has achieved a 5 star rating on Yelp. It was great…read more I read in my preview that the line to the counter is always there...but it moves quickly...and it is and does. I had to visit Blues City as I heard they have great Po Boys...and they do. I am used to having oysters or shrimp on a Po Boy. Not here. They are basically served with many versions of meat. I had the Benton Park Po Boy and it was incredible. The sandwich has ham, roast beef, turkey, provel, and is dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, pepperoncini, sweet red pepper sauce on french bread. My wife, being vegetarian had the Panino Fresco. It included mozzarella, provolone, dressed with homemade olive salad, tomato, onion & Italian vinegar oil on an Italian roll. This was the first time in 26 years that she finished the entire sandwich. I had a bite of hers, and it is easy to see why she she finished it. So good. I even bought a memorable t-shirt as I loved Blues City Deli. The female counter person was so friendly. She even wrote down three other restaurants to try while we were visiting St Louis. Blues City Deli is a can't miss place and if we are back in St. Louis...we will be back.

Great sandwiches, quick line and service. Sandwich was big enough to save other half for later…read more Perfect place to grab a bite before the brewery tour. Indoor and outdoor seating. We ate in our car, no spots available. Benton Park is up and coming.
