Our furniture was wrapped in movers blankets AND plastic wrap. I prepped & pre-packed my own personals and kitchen and the move went really fast. By Spring 2026 a 2nd move out of storage and into a truck for delivery out of state was completed. Again Safe & Sound did a 5 star job packing the truck for a long journey. I was charged only for actual hours worked... I drove the truck to Maine and hired a local crew to unload - the local Maine crew were ok but cost me almost 3 times more with minimum contract hours and too many movers. Johnny and his team, Travis and James, showed up on time and were both personable and very efficient with their work. In one case a bolt & washer unscrewed from the stand they had been on, but they found them on the truck for us. They were also very fast with both the loading and unloading of the truck which was great since we all had to drive back to the Triangle from Charlotte.
