I'd be lying if I said I don't have a jonesing for their meat pie once a week. I'm so thankful they…read morehave a retail location! I first came across the company in a British store I visited. The store was out of meat pies, but they had some from this company. Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I decided to grab two. I ended up picking up Beef 'n Beer and Braised beef rib. From the moment I brought it home, put my oven on and let the cooking process happen, it was life-changing. The flavour of the Beef 'n Beer is my absolute favourite, and I was jonesing so much I had to find more. Thankfully, they have a retail store! I visited the location when it was just before a holiday, and I was fortunate to try the limited-edition Thanksgiving pie. That pie wasn't my favourite, but it was still good. The best pies so far (There are multiple flavours to choose from) are the Beef n Beer and the Braised beef is pretty good. I found the peppercorn pie to be overpowering if you don't really like peppercorns. It's a delicious place you must put on your list to try

The new location is certainly dofferent than their previous locations that were definitely harder to see and find if you were not in the know, compared to the easily visible from the Gardiner Expressway location now. As you enter your nose is hit with the intoxicating buttery pastry baking aromas and you are instantly hungrier. Your eyes then catch up as you start to see all the offerings in the cooked and ready to eat display cases. Along with their favourite savoury fillings they have added sweet and baked goods and even self service salads. A gem in the area, I hope they have continued success and are a long term staple for the neighbourhood. If you atr within the GTA make the drive, you will not be disappointed. Yum-o!

Been here 3 times so it's fair to make a review now. I hate…read morethat they're not AYCE but they're so good, so it's annoying that I have to keep coming back haha. Their cuts of meat are just so good, as well as the sides. We always order multiple rounds of the pickled cucumber and get several refills on the corn and kimchi. The tofu stew that comes with the set is also super comforting and delicious. Don't skip this! Oh it's also annoying that rice is $3 BUT to be fair, they pack this and one bowl is enough for me. I like that it's not plain white rice either. I pretty much tried every beef option but can't remember them all. However on my most recent visit, we ordered: BEEF TENDERLOIN BEEF RIB FINGER MEAT BEEF BONELESS SHORT RIB BEEF SHORT PLATE My favourite was defs the boneless short rib. I loved the marbling on it and it was easy to eat. The tenderloin took FOREVER to cook, but once cooked, it was tender and meaty. Exactly as described. I wouldn't order the short plate again, as it was a little too fatty. All of this including the rice came up to $131 and split between 3 people it was $43 with tax. So not bad at all and it ends up being around the same price as any AYCE bbq spot. Thats why I don't mind coming here cuz of the quality and sides. Service is also super friendly and they come around often asking if you need anything else. I made resos for a Saturday at 12:30 but it wasn't really needed because the place was only about 1/5 full. Even when we left at 2:30 it wasn't packed.

The restaurant was quite busy but service was relatively fast regardless of that. The restaurant has the feel of a traditional Izakaya/bar. We ordered an assortment of meats and some side dishes: Pork marinated shoulder butt 21.99 * favourite! Seasoned chicken thighs 21.99 Black tiger shrimp 11.99 Marinated chuck flap tail 26.99 *Rank 2 Freshly cooked kettle pot rice with sauteed mushrooms 18.99 1 steamed rice $3 The rice with mushrooms was the surprise of the evening. I came for the meat but this dish had the perfect Unani flavour to compliment everything going on. I would absolutely get that dish again just for myself! I'll likely be returning with friends!

Holy Perogy! I loved every perogy that I got from this place…read more I was in the area a few Saturdays ago. I needed to pick up some takeout for dinner. I did a search on my Uber Eats app and found this store. It was offering a BOGO deal on a couple of savoury perogies meals. Bacon or truffle mushroom perogies? It was a tough decision. I love both. I caved and went with the latter. You have the option of choosing what filling you want in your perogies. I went classic and chose cheddar potato. I also got dessert perogies. The apple pie ones intrigued me. I got an estimated time of twenty minutes for my order to be completed. I took my time getting there. This eatery is on the southwest corner of The Queensway and Consol. The latter is interesting in that it's a u-shaped street. You basically drive all the way down the east part of u-shaped Consol until you can't drive anymore. You'll see Holy Perogy! I backed into a spot and walked in. I was the only customer in the store. A friendly man greeted me. I let him know that I had an Uber Eats order. He first thought that I was a driver for Uber Eats. I'm not sure why. Maybe I look casual enough to be one? If you are a food app driver, you need to bring your insulated bag with you. Otherwise, this store won't give you any order. It prides itself on having hot food staying hot. Since I was a hungry customer who had ordered food, he gave me my order and apologized for the mix-up. It was all good. I thanked him and headed to my car with my order. I, too, have insulated bags in my car. I placed my food in one of them and drove home. I then enjoyed one of the truffled mushroom perogies meals that night with the apple pie ones. I had the second mushroom one the following night. I highly recommend the truffled mushroom perogies if you are a huge mushroom lover. They were delicious. This place didn't skimp on the mushrooms. You could taste the truffle oil. It wasn't overpowering. It was perfect. The cheddar potato perogies were so good with the mushrooms and the creamy sauce. I loved the green onions on top. It was a filling meal. I'd get it again. I had the second container of mushroom perogies the following day. They heated up well and tasted equally as yummy. Dessert perogies? Yes, please! The apple pie perogies were outstanding. The apple pie filling was yummy with a hint of sweetness. I loved the cinnamon with the cubed apples in every bite. It had the right amount of caramel drizzled on each one. So good! This place was a great find on Uber Eats. I need to head back for more. It's not too far from my workplace, so I see myself coming over here after work or when I'm in the area. (446)

I love the concept of perogies dressed up like this. To be honest, who doesn't love a delicious…read moreperogy anyway? I love that there is a chef who creates all of the flavours and captures the essence of each flavour as well. I tried the truffle (which was my favourite), jerk chicken and Thai curry. I was actually really pleased with the Thai curry sauce since it was really flavourful and tasted authentic. You must also try to jerk chicken since it is the chef's signature dish! I love that the perogies themselves are vegan and can still be vegan depending on the sauces and toppings you out on. Highly recommend and since these babies are dense, you and a friend should order different flavours and share!
