The appliance suffered severe, irreparable structural and electrical damage. Allstate sent a technician from Kirpal Calgary to assess the damage. This technician conducted a completely negligent review. Despite visible charring, compromised internal components, and exposed electrical wiring sticking out of the unit, the technician claimed the appliance "looks good." It was abundantly clear that his only priority was collecting his service call fee, showing an absolute disregard for safety, liability, and professional ethics. I have provided numerous photographic records and video evidence clearly demonstrating that this appliance is a total loss and a severe fire hazard. It is deeply concerning that Allstate is choosing to accept the word of a negligent third-party contractor over indisputable photographic proof.

(WalMart, CDN Tire, Best Buy) I didn't research my recent fridge purchase. I rushed it, as a single parent of 2, I felt I needed to get a fridge quick! I figured hey, it's a fridge, it's modern, it should work for me. It was actually stressful. If a washer/ dryer goes, you go to a laundromat. Dishwasher goes, you hand wash for a bit. A fridge goes, no other real options, you need a fridge! No matter how I configured it, I could only use 1 shelf! This didn't work for me, and I was not happy. 36 hours later, I requested to upgrade to a more expensive fridge, pay the delivery/ return fees, but under no circumstances can an appliance be returned to Trail. This was also a brand new item, not scratch/ dent. I was told it was "used". Yup, 36 hours used. Most people do buy fridges to use them. I suggest if you want to deal with Trail, thoroughly research your purchase. Most importantly make sure you read up on all their policies, this is key. In hindsight, I realize I would have been way better off buying my fridge from a kid in a blue shirt, or some guy in an orange apron, I would have gotten better service. Yes, I screwed up. I let my family and myself down. I now have a $1300 daily reminder of my mistake! Oh well, it works, but I am in no way happy or satisfied. Buyer Beware at Trail. Nobody ever called me back or responded to phone or text messages. We eventually called another service provider and had everything complete within two weeks. Completely abysmal customer service. By Monday Anail had a tech onsite to conduct a minor repair (dislodged component in the knob). The same day after the repair (Murphy's law), I had another unrelated issue with the stove not receiving gas after a self clean. I called Anail and he again had a tech onsite the next day diagnosing a fault in the pressure reducing valve. The tech taught me how to repair the problem if it happened again as it is not uncommon for a diagram to stick. A few hours later Anail called me to confirm that I was happy with the repair and informed me that he proactively ordered a new pressure reducing valve for replacement to ensure no future problems occur. I am absolutely happy with Appliance Outlet standing behind their service, product and brand.
