My wife and I have been a few times to this restaurant together with family and friends. We had mixed experiences the first two times we were there- service always slow, food comes out at different times. The last time were were there with family the quality of the food was absolutely terrible, tasteless & bland. Anyway we decided to give this establishment another chance by booking a table for 10 people for lunch over the weekend and a few short days before our booking we were told our booking is cancelled due to the fact they've taken a booking for an Albanian wedding. The lunch we planned for my wife's birthday weeks in advance just got dumped. We had to put ourselves in their shoes, because Albanians are "foreigners". .... Although our group of 10 was to consist of our local English friends....This is just simple discrimination which resulted in huge inconvenience and difficulties to ourselves. One of the ladies from our party is a food critique who was going to write a piece on Bulgarian House, unfortunately her write up now will not be positive at all!
I plead with anyone wishing to visit this place to stay away from it- simply not worth it! Go and visit Bulgaria- food is much more delicious there! read more
