My husband and I shared the lentil soup and we both ordered the Coban Kavurma. It was all very delicious. The spices on the Coban Kavurma lifts the dish to a higher level. The lentil soup was smooth and flavorful. Our table shared the creamed mushroom which was amazing as well. Our servers were very attentive.

Our main courses were the Lamb Amana, which is minced lamb mixed with spices then formed into a long meatball and cooked on a skewer, and lamb shish kebab. Both were really good. Delicious food - chicken souvlaki wrap stuffed with ingredients (fries!), and a Greek salad that was so good and topped with a huge slab of feta cheese. A perfect lunch deal which was one of their menu offerings. The staff was attentive, and our food came out quickly. The space has a cozy vibe with a cool inside structure which fit in well. Sure it's a touristy location, but we were tourists after all and the menu was reasonably priced which was fine by us. Good eats here!

There was three of us and we must've gotten at least half of the menu to share, but so worth it. Some of my favorites: the ravioli, barbecue chicken pizza, and the dessert chocolate spring rolls!! We had a couple different service throughout the night, and they were all super friendly and great. We were there pretty late in the evening, and the vibe of the place was great too. There's a DJ playing some cool music and the place is crowded with people, but in a good way

Ok... nothing special Seabass ceviche - Amazing - a filet of Seabass marinated in lemon, lime and spices with avocado, corn and red onion. This was special and paired with a nice glass of Chardonnay it worked well. Peruvian grilled chicken - Came with 2 skewers of dark meat chicken served with aji verde sauce. It was tasty but I'm not a fan of chicken thighs so I gave it to my husband. Ambiance was nice, if you're looking to splurge on a lunch, this is a nice one.

Tillie was our server and I wanted to make her my friend! The sweetest smile, the kindest personality and demeanor. It was like a warm hug being served by here. I came in convinced we were going to do the chef's choice meal but there were too many specific dishes we wanted to try so we went in that direction. Started with the rip and dip platter with GF bread. Pitas looked amazing but the GF bread worked great too. The smoked cod dip was unreal. For mains we shared the fried halloumi, sea bream, chicken and calamari. That fried halloumi has been in my head for days now, I'm obsessed. Nothing special about the calamari but the sea bream was bright, nutty and delicious. And the chicken was juicy and the sauce was addictive, I couldn't stop eating it. We got the med cheesecake for dessert and the sourness of the cheese paired with the crunchy kataifi was so good! I can't stop talking about this place and will visit again later this year. Huge fan!!

The environments are really pleasant and airy. You feel as though you've been transported outside of London to a restaurant on the coast in Crete. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch but still I do feel as though wnen I'm inside the grey-on-grey atmosphere of the local environment disappears. Food itself is mostly really good. Some personal favorites are the pork and feta sausages which are so comparable to the kind of sausage you'd have camping in the mountains in the States that my sentimentality is for back home rather than the Mediterranean! More on theme is the lightly fried aubergine skewer which is one of the most delicious preperations of eggplant that I've ever had. The greek salad is small but radiating with fresh flavor - you'll be surprised that something so simple as so satisfying. Less tasty is the chicken - I've tried this a couple of times and while the chicken is relatively juicy the seasoning is just a bit on the bland side to really resonate. I have also tried the trout which is near indistinguisable from salmon - not necessarily a bad thing and certainly the fish is fresh but ultimately it's not that exciting of a dish. Overall Brother Marcus is definitely a good spot and especially if you're in Canary Wharf which has a spotty upmarket restaurant scene. Go for it.

I had remembered coming to the bistro 10 or so years ago once when i lived here. I was staying in the Earls court area , and remembered it and did the short walk over. Lovely friendly service with well prepared food and a small , but fine selection of wine which changes i guess regularly. I had a couple of glasses of Chateau Contenac-Brown to complement (kind of) a grilled octopus , thickly sliced with cauliflower purée, and a black ink tortellini with crab. Some cheese to finish. All wonderful . Near the conclusion i messaged a few friends after spying a 2010 Chateau LasCombes on the menu that i felt needed to be had and shared. The staff decanted and 15 minutes or so later my friends arrived and we emptied it. I highly recommend this casual be high quality bistro on the edge of South Kensington.

First, $7.50 for still water was ridiculous. Then we were told they were out of the cod, which was disappointing! My short rib sandwich was also extremely overcooked and dry. As Gordon Ramsay would say, "This chicken is as dry as a camel's backside in a desert storm," except in this case, replace chicken with short rib sandwich. The tuna tartare was the only highlight of the meal. The tuna and avocado were both perfect, tasty and easily the best part of our dining experience! The restaurant itself has a beautiful ambiance and a lovely atmosphere! We also really liked our server, who was pleasant throughout the meal. Unfortunately, beautiful surroundings and good service can only go so far when the food is subpar. I expected a much better experience from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and left feeling extremely disappointed.
