This, the proposed price/invoice, and online/BBB reviews helped me decide on BUK. 6 workers arrived at 7:30am and they were finished in 6 hours. I've never seen a group of workers operate so quickly and efficiently. The house, garage, and entryway roof were all done. Tarps that they had used everywhere for protection/catching the old shingles were gathered and dumped. My property was clean. During the job, they found 2 improperly-vented (into the attic) bathroom vents and a piece of moldy plywood by the eaves. They installed two roof-exiting vents, replaced the plywood and venting flex-pipe and just kept going. The on-the-fly repairs were very reasonable. I highly recommend BUK. I purchased a 90+ year old bungalow with a brand new roof but I still needed some exterior repairs and had the first project (gutter/downspout/soffit/fascia) priced by 3 companies. This company did a great chimney reflash job 5 yrs ago for me. Other companies insisted I also needed roofing shingles be done then. Tom said the roof was still good & to hold off the shingles job. Well, 5 yrs later I called them for the shingles. Roof (shingles) job was done when they said it would be. Workers worked well together, cleaned up & done in 1 day. Tom is super punctual. These guys are crooks - don't waste your time. Charged me $1,400 to make a bunch of modifications to my roof, which the contractor said would fix my leak problem. Next rainstorm: ceiling is leaking in the exact same spot. Tries to charge me again - pass. Looks like all the newer reviews on here aren't good, and I should have listened. I for one, do not provide reviews, and rating of 5 is for exceptional service. We had water dripping from the attic after a heavy downpour over the weekend. Tom was the only person I could get hold of and talk to yesterday (Sunday) afternoon and he made time to check the roof out today on an exceptional basis so that the water does not cause further damage. Turns out, it was a minor issue and he took care of it right away (required some caulking) and he would not charge me for it saying he was in the area (This after climbing on the roof of a two story house) It was providence from my perspective to come across honest, reliable service providers with integrity. All of this transpired while I was out of state & dealt with Tom over phone, so he literally was GOD send for me. Had an old chimney that we needed removed, and the roof patched. As it happened, while deciding on when to do this, the chimney collapsed and left a hole in the roof a day before it was supposed to start raining for 3 days in a row. Called the guys at BUK Roofing to expedite and get the work they had quoted done immediately, and they were able to come out the very next day and take care of it. Most importantly, they did a fantastic job. I was also extremely appreciative about how clean they kept my place. Both Tom, the owner, and the other member of his crew were extremely professional.
