The bologna was cooked perfectly with a great tasting outside char on it to add flavor. I absolutely loved this sandwich. The beef brisket sandwich was also delicious. The baked beans had a really good smooth taste to them. Good stuff. One of the stars was the smoked cabbage, this definitely a must if you're ordering from them. I could have ordered several of these. Delicious!! On to the star of the show. The Brisket, OMG!!! This has to be in top echelon of Briskets I've ever had. It was super moist with a nice tasty pepper crust. It was phenomenal all by itself but you do have some bbq sauce included to add a little more flavor IF you want. The owners are Charles and Jarret. They're super personable individuals and were easy to talk with about their experiences with the business . I ordered the two sandwiches platter which comes with 3 sides. I had the Brisket and Pulled Pork sandwiches. Each came with coleslaw on top. My 3 sides were baked beans, Mac N Cheese and Cowboy Corn. I'll start with the sandwiches. Totally surprised by both sandwiches, they both had nice and moist meat that was smoked perfectly. The coleslaw on top just added that perfect crunch to the sandwich. I used Bangin Bourbon on one and Homestyle which was tangy and sweet. Both had great flavor. On to the sides. The Mac n Cheese was made with a Rotini style noodle and was made with Colby, Cheddar and Jack cheese. It was super flavorful. And finally there was the Cowboy Corn which of course had corn, peppers red and green made with a super flavorful sauce. So Tasty!! Almost forgot a star in the menu, the Baked Beans, OMG!!!! There are many broth options to choose from and several of those are vegetarian, so I can get something different every time. You can even switch out broths if you want to try something else. I've tried a lot of the broths but my favorites are miso, mushroom, and spicy kimchi. Once you choose your broth, you have a variety of veggies, meats, and noodles to choose from to add to your pot. It's great that I can come with meat eaters and we are not committed to the same experience as we each get our own pots. Some of my favorite add ins are tofu, cauliflower, mushrooms, water cress, sweet potato, taro, and fried tofu. There are also several good meat add ins, as other people I've been there with love it too. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is kind and helpful. You also get a QR code at your table so if you want more add ins you can request them without bothering anyone. You can also customize your experience by grabbing some things from the self service bar. I like to add scallions, garlic, and red pepper flakes. I've been with a group of six and also with one other person and have enjoyed it every time. Not only is it tasty but it is also a really fun activity.
