Disgusting!! behavior from manager. I went it the other day and witnessed something scummy. I was shopping for plushies when and I noticed a girl waiting for help to get an order from the back. She was super quiet, calm, and kind. The manager didn't act like she cared what the customer was asking and eventually I saw this person kicking the customers package across the floor like she was playing soccer with it. She had the audacity to tell the customer she should have known the shipping company. No she shouldn't have. I've bought offline and that was never something I was expected to know at pick up. The customer looked so upset but nervous to put that worker in her place. I wanted to throw hands but let's do this instead. Won't be coming back to this location unless she is out of there. Come on, it's a plushie store!!! And lots the time it's kids. Wonder what she says behind closed doors and open ones. read more

Came to this location yesterday for the pay-your-age birthday bear. (Make sure to make an account and register your kids' birthdays online before you go). My daughter loved it, and staff members Johnny and Yesenia were fantastic. They answered all of our questions and made the experience really magical for my daughter! We even got a birth certificate for the bear and a birthday sticker for my daughter. I really enjoyed the experience and felt like it was what I remembered from a decade+ ago when I took my little cousins. Would highly recommend! read more

Our service was not magical until the end when we checked out. When you come into Build A Bear you expect enthusiasm from the employees because you are selling stuffies. The audience for this company focuses on children. Unfortunately, Alexis, the manager, did not deliver. I spotted insincerity a mile away and was sad for my 9 year to get the experience I know he deserved. We were not greeted, not asked simple questions like other employees were asking the kiddos as to why they chose that specific stuffy or if they were going to name it, and the delivery of Alexis was simply careless, so careless we got back in line so that my son's stuffed friend was probably stuffed and so he can properly make his wish. At check out KAYLEE was the MVP. Since my son's stuffy had to get re-stuffed she performed a minor surgery and said that my son's stuffy was going to be okay. She asked simple questions and interacted with my kiddos. She even went as far as giggling with us because one of my kiddos let out a toot and she was not shameful at all. KAYLEE deserves recognition for making what started off as a terrible experience into us walking out that door happy with our new friends. I'm very disappointed in the customer service staff at this location. My mother in law took my two year old son today and they were totally ignored. My son liked a stuffed animal and was trying to show the staff member so she could help him. She looked him off, closed the section, and walked away to sit down. He was so disappointed. We ordered a Pochacco online unstuffed and came to this store to have him stuffed. Kaylee was amazing with stuffing Pochacco and was super friendly and helpful. This was our first build a bear and we will definitely come back to this location if we need one in the future! read more

Julie and Sophie were absolutely amazing! My family came in just before closing when they had already turned off the "stuffing" machines. We were in a tight spot and needed a bear that night and they went out of their way to make sure we could get what we needed. They turned on the machine and made an amazing bear for my kid! They even searched high and low to find a recordable voice Box (they were sold out but managed a miracle to find one tucked away) because they knew how important it was for my child to have it. We have been to this location 3 times now since it's opened as part of my daughter birthday celebration and have had a pleasant time every time, 2 times were prior to Covid and this most recent visit was after the reopening since the Covid outbreak. They have a max amount of people before the line starts outside along with sanitization products upon entry must wear mask and follow footprints lined along the store to grab the items wanted until you get to the filling station that is socially distance however the kids still get to get a heart and do the activation of it so they still get the build a bear experience. Super friendly staff and since it was my daughter birthday she got a birthday bear (pay the kids age up until 8 I think) , crown and sticker. read more

Absolutely worst experience over here, they gave my child a defective voice box in the toy and didnt stuff the doll properly because my son (speech delay) couldnt keep on his mask the way they wanted. Love the experience here. I brought my daughter in on 3/5/2021. Her birthday was 2 days prior and i wanted to have a Mommy daughter day. Rene(hopefully i am spelling it correctly) made sure my daughter had an amazing first time building her first bear! She made it extra especial for her. Im so thankful that they are open and fallowing all the guidelines for Covid as we were leaving a big group gathered around the door and Amber was amazing and had them move back so my daughter and I had space to pass by and leave. Had an amazing time building a bear with my 1 year old daughter!! If I'm being honest the bear was more for me! But the staff was so helpful and we went about an hour and a half before closing! I do NOT understand the bad reviews!!! I was scared to go because of the reviews but literally every employee in there was so helpful, sweet, and friendly! It was pretty busy in there with customers and only 4 employees, they all were extremely attentive/informative. This is the saddest build a bear I've ever seen. They moved here after the one at downtown Disney closed and it's so depressing....there's no decor on the walls. I can almost guarantee it will be closed within the next year. Now they charge 75¢ for the box that the bear usually comes in. Ridiculous! Bring back the Disney one please! I love build a bear!! Walking in, there were so many options to choose from. I chose the "LIL' CUB CARAMEL" and it ended up looking so cute!! I added a custom sound to it and it costed an extra $8. Building the bear was such a fun experience. Our bear maker was so funny and kind. I will definitely come back in the future. read more

Don't come here if you have any medical issues and can't wear a mask, they want masks on everyone even toddlers. I first went in alone to talk to the girl working about prices. My mask was over my nose covering my nostrils and the girl working said I needed to pull it up higher which I thought was super weird since it was over my nose. Then I return with my husband and kids and we were denied service because I would not put a mask on my two year old and 5 year with Tourettes syndrome. I told her my daughter can't wear a mask due to a medical condition and she did not care it was their policy every child had to wear one. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and I their policy is discriminating against people with medical conditions. We won't be back and that's really unfortunate. read more

Just don't. Go to any other location but this one. Not adequately staffed to handle parties and other people. If your child isn't in a party, you will be ignored and disregarded. We had to wait half an hour in line to pay because a party was ahead of us. Also, basically no clothes for boys to use on their bears.
